The room size was just right, not to big & not to small, bathroom was appropriately located near the door to the room, and TV was situated conveniently in the left hand corner of the room up high to be easily seen from the bed & bathroom. Nice small fridge under the bench in let hand corner for drinks & to be stored. Although the room window was facing the main road, this was not to bad and road traffic was negilable. The room bed was comfortable and well appointed for the size of the room, and as a tall man myself I had no problems with bed length as well. All in all a very excellent stay at the IMPERIAL WINDSOR HOTEL👍👍

I was charged by booking.com, which is normal. I use booking. Com always. Then was charged $267.00 by the motel. They said they did not have it but the bank statement says different. Had to wait over an hour to get confirmation to get the access code. Many guests said the same. I am disappointed in the way they operate. I still cannot get hold of anyone to return my money. The rate quoted by booking.com was correct, but the second charge i still can not work out. I had to give my credit card to get in the door. People stay there because it is near the hospital. More stress added.

Room was good, bed was comfortable, had tv, air con/heater, kettle, fridge n tea coffee etc, one stool to sit with 2 people in room, awesome location, key code lock on doors, parking available, code required to enter building after hours so security and safety is awesome 👌

There is plenty of room to have 2 stools even stacked them while not in use. bathroom well tiny as, while in shower the curtain is on you, while sitting on the toilet you can wash your hands if you wanted too, but what tops it off you get a text message letting you know if the fire brigade turns up from you having a shower n sets the alarm off it will cost you $1500 but may not be an issue if the fan worked in the bathroom so basically keep that door shut at all times, and apart from couple bugs that's it

Not to far from the airport I had a pleasant time it had basic amenities like kettle in room fridge coffee tea biscuits and sugar a lovley and dark room for sleeping there was a microwave in the communal areas and vending machines in communal areas I didn't use those just the kettle for a couple of cups of coffee nice and quiet and peacefull nearby to takeaways like mcdonalds or hungry jacks if you wanted something quick and a servo a comfortable bed and sleep they provided shampoo conditioner and body wash so that was a bonus and 2 towels

I can't comment to much on staff as it was self check in, however a very easy process via sms and email. only thing was I couldn't look door in bathroom as I wanted to shower but as there was a potential fine of 1500 if your door wasn't completely shut as the steam from shower would set the alarm of. I didn't take the risk and had issues locking my door from inside however no issues from locking it outside overall a pleasant stay 😀

for a single traveller, or a couple touring and seeking just a basic motel room, it was ideal. No bells and whistles, a bed, ensuite, tv, aircon and brew making facilities, all the basic traveller needs.

i found the soap dispenser to be at and awkward height in the shower., and maybe the twin lights in the bathroom could be of a lower wattage, they tended to suck the eyeballs out of the socket if you turned them on coming out of the darkness of the bedroom area through the night. The recently fitted cypher locks on the rooms in lieu of the standard key or swipe cards could be better explained by the reception staff, but other that those very minor issue there was no real problem.

Location to hospital, clean, very comfy bed

I wanted to store my big suitcase for the day but the lockers were very small. I had to take my suitcase to the hospital with me to visit. Also the inside of the jug looked dirty with a hard sediment on the inside bottom of the jug. I had to clean it then boil the jug 3 times and empty the water before I was game to make a cup of tea.

The room was spotlessly clean and it was a convenient location with good off street parking. The bed was comfortable and the pull down blind allowed complete darkness - good for sleeping. A toaster in the room would have been handy. The electronic check in process was easy

Great Serve yourself brekky in buffet near reception (added cost or included in some nightly rates) ; Very comfy bed & pillow - but U need 2 x pillows 2 raise your head - Would have had 2 ask 4 2 x additional pillows if a couple ; Convenient location with service station shop & fast food opposite - & v close 2 City buses bus stop ; polite & friendly service from staff - !! ; Plenty of teas, coffees & welcome UHT milk provided 4 that needed arrival cuppa - !!!

There was a malodorous sensation coming from the sewage plumbing system in the bathroom - not due 2 lack of cleaning as the bathroom was spotlessly clean & cleaned ... Maybe the slightly older properties sewerage plumbing needs a look at or upgrade ... or was it the location close 2 the Cross River Clem 7 Traffic tunnel under or near the property causing the probs - ?? ; Cold 1 night as the limited swing window came open 1 night ... maybe it was me not latching properly rather than the window latch maintenance that was @ fault there - !!! ... but it gave me a scare ... had some1 broken in2 the room via the window whilst I was asleep- ?? !! ??

The IBIS rooms are always small and the bathroom / toilet is the smallest in probably any motel chain. Extensive renovations were taking place, but they were in no way intrusive. It is an environment conducive to getting out and about while staying in Brisbane. There is a really good mini market across the road, and Dominoes deliver pizza.

It can be a bit tricky to get onto the right side of the road for free parking, when coming from the showground or Brisbane CBD.
