I booked this for my mum. The staff were great and put her in a lower unit so she didnt have to walk the stairs. The furnishings are a little dated but it doesn't matter, as the appliances and air conditioner/heater are new, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer and dryer. The location is fantastic, its really close to the beach, the shops, restaurants and casino. The unit comes with a car park, however its also close to the tram stop if you are not driving.

The location was fantastic. Central to shops and great cafes/restaurants. Easy for uber pick ups and friends to find. Our appartment was cosy and comfortable. Patio space was great.

The bench behind kitchen sink has rotted out so did not look appealing or clean. Broken tiles on kitchen floor need fixing. Visually, kitchen and floor let the place down. A wire poking out of one dining chair was uncomfy. Extra rubbish bags for bins required. Very mixed crockery and cutlery. Other than that, appartment was cosy our stay was very enjoyable.

I like that we had a whole apartment to ourselves; including a private bathroom with washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer, private balcony, comfortable double bed, tv, sofa, microwave, kettle, toaster, dining table, 2 side tables, plates etc. They also provide linen and soap. And there is a pool. The receptionist put me on a lower floor as I had heavy stuff and managed to match booking.com price when I ask to extend. They also set up a direct debit so I didn’t get charged the surcharge on my card. And the housekeeper did a great job and was really nice. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

I was in room 14 so this may not be the case for every room as they’re each furnished my different people they sub let to. But our oven was very dodgy (sparked and made our food taste like burnt metallic gas). The kettle also was black inside and looked a bit questionable. We also didn’t have oven tongs or mittens which would be handy. And the tv can be glitchy sometimes but not that often. I think if they replaced the oven with a new oven or an air fryer and a portable hot plate this apartment could be great.

We loved our entire stay!! Aruba Sands surpassed all expectations and Broadbeach is such a beautiful relaxing place. The staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. The units are privately owned and ours had been renovated beautifully. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all in as new condition. Being a small resort we basically had the pool and spa to ourselves. They are both heated to the perfect temperature. There is a large BBQ area by the pool as well. Aruba Sands was the perfect place for us and I'll definitely book there again. Bonus, you get a carpark space under the resort!! Everything is within easy walking and the surf club accommodates gluten and dairy free and is only about a 3-4 minute walk away. The Oasis shopping centre is about the same distance and has a woolworths so you can easily stroll down and get any groceries. We were absolutely thrilled with everything!!! After booking it for such a bargain I was quite worried but there was no need, it was clean, tidy and well run. As I'd read in other reviews there are a few places using the name 'Aruba' so make sure you book the Aruba Sands resort and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Clean, spacious and mostly in good repair. Kitchen had everything needed. Big bathroom with modern laundry appliances. Staff were lovely. Excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

Minimal issues that didn’t particularly affect our stay - dodgy wiring in the bedroom, incredibly uncomfortable couch 😆

Looove the location & will be staying there every time we are back on the Gold Coast… Friendly staff and a great location being close to all the shopping centres…

We were looking forward to using the spa pool but, unfortunately we were informed that the motor was not working and it was cold during our week long stay…

the room has everything I needed it was quiet n the location was great. the young lady in reception was so nice a polite and right on the ball. she is a credit to the resort the pool n spa was great

Loved the location, walking distance from beach, Pacific Fair and lots of restaurants. Also very quiet and lots of space in the apartment. Also had its own laundry in the bathroom and secure basement parking.

Only negative is that the apartment is a little tired, could do with updating and we had to carry our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs from the garage as no lift. Did not worry us though as it suited all our other needs.

Very handy location,helpful and kind staff.Having the appliances at hand was good too. Air-conditioning worked well.

That our van couldn't go underneath, however it was good we could use the sister hotel visitor parking. Also the spa didn't turn on on my morning swim. The smoke alarm above my head flashed a light , as I was going off to sleep.

Absolutely loved our stay at the resort. Our one-bedroom apartment was just perfect. It was spacious with a comfy bed, modern furnishing and a spacious balcony as well. Oh, and not to mention the kitchen had everything in it also. The clothes hanger unfortunately wasn't functional, however, I happened to bump into the owner of the resort, (whom I had a great conversation with by the pool), and after I mentioned to him that it would be nice to have a new one, within an hour he delivered it himself to us personally. This indicates a great customer service and made our stay even more enjoyable. This resort is truly is a little sanctuary amongst the highrises on Broadbeach with a central location and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping centers. Thank you, we had a great time and we will visit again one day soon! :)

The water in the shower at times changed from hot to cold unexpectedly (hence the rating is 9 not 10)
