Location is just across the road from the casino and just a few minutes walk to the tram G station. High floor room with excellent view from room with small balcony with a table and 2 chairs

After leaving the room for the last time, get your car out of the undercover parking before you checkout so that you can use your room key to get out of the parking area. It is a hassle because you then have to drive back to the reception area of the hotel to checkout. Don't use the piece of paper they give you at the reception when you hand over your room keys to get out of the parking area because it does not work and you could be stuck in the parking area for ages. The assistance button at the boom gate does nothing and should be fixed.

Everything about this property was fantastic, especially when compared to similar hotels/apartments we have stayed at in Broadbeach on past occassions. We saved over $300 staying at the Meriton for the week and were only a block further back from the ocean and Oasis shops which didn't bother us one bit. They've done lovely renovations to the Meriton fairly recently, and we had a wonderful stay. The only rooms that seemed not to have been updated were the bathrooms, but still perfectly acceptable.

My only issue (not even a complaint, just personal preference) was the bedding - the bed itself was very very firm, with pretty basic sheets and a lightweight comforter, and the pillows went very flat/were not supportive enough for my liking, but someone else might like that! For a premium apartment option in the Gold Coast area I just expect something a bit more luxurious when it comes to bedding.

Great central location in Broadbeach. Quiet, private rooms with balcony. Full kitchen and dining area. Friendly welcoming staff. 5 minute walk to the light rail station which is easy to travel on. Right across from the amazing Pacific Fair shopping and dining complex. Great cafes and restaurants close by as well. Private fenced outdoor area on the ground floor for guests.

Beds were very firm with not enough padding on top. Unfortunately the washing machine in the suite didn't work.

I’d stayed in Studio Ocean Luxe Suite for 5 nights in room 1112B on 11th floor and the reception was greeting me with a kind, positive and passionate attitude. In addition, you can also ask them to store your luggage for a while if you want to explore a little more and the flight is quite late but at the same day. After scanning the card reader outside the lifts with your room card, you can only choose the public levels and your level, which is well designed and of high security. In conclusion, it’s a great option to stay in here if you want to come to Gold Coast. It’s also convenient that the building is surrounded by Pacific Fair shopping centre, convenience stores, and a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall, it’s a 9 out of 10!

In my opinion, the balcony is quite wide that you can exercise its scenery out here on 11F is only a little oceanic but sunrise is visible from here in January. Overall, the view still quite magnificent and panoramic and the buildings and house nearby make it colourful.

Amazing views & a spacious apartment style one bedroom suite. The kitchen and laundry (clothes washer, drier & ironing board & iron) included in the room were excellent. The hotel provides all the products needed for using the washing machine, kitchen sink and dishwasher etc. Very comfortable bed & pillows with excellent block-out curtains & sheers. Balcony very comfortable to use & nice to be able to leave the sliding door open for fresh air. Staff were amazing - genuinely friendly and helpful. Easy quick walk to beach, restaurants and cafes and easy close walk to Pacific Fair shopping centre & the tram & airport bus (all just across the road). Love that there were 2 pools - one outdoor & one indoor but with open doors. And really loved that there was a gym and a large dry sauna next to the indoor pool. Also bicycles on site to easily hire. Loved everything about this hotel. It was a lovely surprise after staying a few nights before across the road in what we thought would be a more luxurious hotel but were very disappointed in. Meriton Broadbeach was exceptional in comparison.

Only suggestion would be for rooms like this with an internal laundry to provide a clothes airer to hang washing on (for clothes that can't go in the clothes drier) that could be tucked in next to the laundry sink where the ironing board lives. Otherwise everything was excellent.

The location was excellent - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lot more amenities than I was expecting (didn't realise there would be a kitchen, not a kitchenette!) The only downside which was SO very minor was that the shower head holder was broken and didn't keep the shower head in place - but we mentioned at checkout and maintenance was going to the room. The value for money was absolutely amazing, and I would stay again. The staff at check in were so friendly and accommodating.

It was all really good- so there wasn't anything not to like to be honest.

Location at Broadbeach. 5 minute walk to Woolies, well appointed kitchen to prepare food in. Many options to eat out as well. Fabulous heated pools, indoor and outdoor. Right near light rail to Surfers and beyond. Right near Pacific Fair shopping centre if that interests you. Great size of unit, great for a multi night stay.

The bed for me was uncomfortably firm. But i have since learned that you can get a topper to make it more comfortable. So if you suffer from hard bed back soreness, then check the bed when you arrive and order the topper from reception so it can be on by bedtime.

Great location, easy walk to the beach, cafes, shops and restaurants and a good hub to explore the Gold Coast. Parking in the building is convenient and relatively cheap, free on-street parking is also available in the area. The room was clean and had basic amenities, a full kitchen and a laundry.

No housekeeping for stays up to 3 nights, for which the supplies seemed a bit stingy. There was 1x full size towel per person and a shared hand towel only, no face towels. Small toiletries and only 2x dishwashing tablets for a 3 night stay. The sauna and indoor pool were closed during our stay – I had been really looking forward to using the sauna and it was one reason we booked the Meriton, so this was disappointing. Housekeeping were very loud when cleaning the room next door to us and slammed the door loudly 10+ times.

Location is great, only a couple of blocks from the beach, close to shops and transport, cafes and nightlife. We had an ocean facing 1 bedroom room and the morning sunrise views are divine. I’ve already booked to stay here again, won’t even look anywhere else. Always so many staff on hand in the lobby to answer your questions and help. And there is new technology for the elevators making them extremely fast and efficient. Never had to wait for an elevator, super speedy and we were on one of the highest floors! Amazing.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Great location, close to beach, Draculas, Pacific Fair, tramstop. Wonderful staff, so friendly, professional and helpful. Terrific parking and affordable which is unusual on the Gold Coast. Lovely grounds with pools and sculptures and seated areas.

Some small areas for improvement only. Beds were a little too hard for us, perhaps a mattress topper. The room was stiffling when we arrived as hot sun had been beating on the windows and the air con wasn't on. Took quite a while for the air con to cool it down. Also a champagne stopper would be good. And a luggage rack for the suitcase in each room would be good.
