Our apartment was one of the largest 2 bedroom units we've stayed in at Broadbeach. View from the Ocean view room is excellent, although that will change when the new building beside it is completed. Showers and beds passed the comfort and as good as at home tests too. We'll definitely look to rebook here in future.

The Main guest Pool, and pool area in general on Level 4 is pretty tired and is need of a facelift. The construction site next door was only annoying a couple of days in the morning but not enough to not go back.

We stay at Wave Apartments every year. They have great serviced apartments with everything you need including a corkscrew! The location is fantastic, right near some excellent restaurants which are very easy walking distance. Parking is convenient underneath the building and the place feels secure with keycard access to the building, lift and rooms. We treated ourselves with the three-bedroom sub penthouse this year and they were happy to switch one of the twin rooms to a king for the MIL for a small fee.

Unfortunately, two towers (40 and 58 storey) are being built between the 34 storey Wave Apartments and the ocean. This will block the wonderful views and therefore we will not be staying at Wave again. It's crazy that this has been allowed to replace a smaller building. During our stay, this building was going on next door commencing at 6.30am including Saturday but Wave let us know that this would be occurring and wasn't a problem for us. The pool on the 4th floor (the largest pool) was being renovated and therefore not in use.

Excellent location, few minute walk to the beach, easy parking, spacious apartment for our family of four. Friendly helpful staff. We’d stayed here back in 2018 and did not regret returning. Will look forward to returning again and checking out the pool improvements.

The construction noise from building site next door started from about 6am everyday other than Sunday and it was loud. This was communicated by The Wave and we understand that it’s totally out of their control but didn’t realise it would be so early. We had a stunning sea view apartment so maybe a city view on the other side of the building the noise wouldn’t be so bad.

We loved the convenience of staying right in the heart of Broadbeach. Parking was easy to negotiate even with a large 4wd vehicle. The apartment was very spacious for a 2BR and we appreciated the additional media room which was great for the teens wanting some privacy. The beds were good but not great. The linens and pillows were all good. Have to say we really enjoyed making the most of all the pools at The Wave. Exciting to hear that the Level 4 pool area is getting a wonderful upgrade - I'll definitely be back to see that when it's completed. Communication from the property regarding the major building works next door was appreciated - they really were quite noisy but understandable and once inside the apartment with the doors closed it wasn't a problem at all

No complaints for our stay at all - would have extended if we had the time

The location was perfect you go straight downstairs and everything you need is right at your fingers tips, Woolworths and chemists, restaurants and 5-7 min walk to the beach. We even walked the 2km along the beach down to mermaid beach. It was a 20-30 minute drive to the theme parks and a stone throw to pacific fair . The girls at the front desk were more than happy to give extra toilet paper and dishwashing powder which means we didn’t have to buy these items during our stay .

Unfortunately although we knew about the construction as we were notified before hand. I didn’t anticipate that we would be woken up at 6am for 6 out of the 7 nights.This is no fault of where we stayed but we had busy days with 5 kids and I did really struggle with this there was only one morning which was Sunday when there was no works happening and I had a slightly longer sleep in. The pool area is tired but we were told they will be updating this area soon.

Great location, close to the Convention Centre, Star Casino and restaurants. Quality apartment with a comfortable bed. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately that there was building going next to The Wave and as I was in an apartment on the sea side of the building it was quite loud. None of this can be helped and the Wave management had advised on booking, fortunately it stopped on the weekend.

Great location. Close to everything with shops and restaurants just outside the door and tram stop across the road.

As with most apartment-style places, they don't supply the following: benchtop / HOB cleaning sprays it makes it difficult to keep the benchtops clean without going and purchasing cleaners, which most people will not do. They over-killed the cleaning before arrival… there were a lot of residual bleach / cleaning chemicals on all the hard surfaces that took many hours to evaporate and left the tiled floor feeling sticky with soap / additive residue.

We were on the 29th floor and had amazing views of both the rivers/hills as well as the ocean on the other side. The gym was great as was having parking for our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment met all of our requirements as a family of 5. The location was perfect! Easy walk to beach and surrounded by lots of great bars and restaurants.

The garbage chute smelt so bad the one day that we were unable to sit outside on the balcony. A couple of things were broken in the apartment- door handle, bottle opener.

Very disappointed that the pools were not warm as they advertised heated pools. That was the main reason I choose that property so all my family were very disappointed with that. We did tell staff but they said it was because it was cloudy and windy. I feel that they could of turned them up a couple of degrees. I travel alot overseas and have never been disappointed with heated pools before. I know there was a spa but we wanted to swim. One of the saunas weren't working but there was another. For 3 days there was sand outside the lifts on our floor, It wouldn't of looked good to other guests that saw it like we did. Do your cleaners vacuum daily or at least every 2nd day?

The location is amazing. You're right in the heart of Broadbeach with access to supermarkets, beach, shops and restaurants.

The windows are single glazed so you can hear everything happening outside. There's a future big tower being constructed in front of The Wave, which we were warned about multiple times, but you can hear every piece of machinery start from 6am in the morning. We didn't mind this - we were warned about it. The thing that did disturb out stay was the neighbours who moved in next to us on the last night had a bender which began at 8am as we were putting our kids to bed and they did not stop until we left for the airport the next morning. They were on their balcony all night playing music, laughing and singing which kept us all up. They were smoking in their room and the smoke filtered into the elevator landing and into our room. It really took the shine off a great holiday.
