Very much enjoyed our stay at Synergy Broadbeach - we will be back! Great location, spacious unit and a good price, our apartment worked out to be only $185 a night, which is great value! Very quiet, even though there were families staying at the hotel it was very soundproof. As we were staying for a long period of time, we purchased washing powder, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner & body wash ourself, all of this was supplied by Synergy as well. Needing to pay a $200 bond, these days not a lot of apartments (we’re fairly frequent travellers) make you pay a bond although I am happy to pay it - hoping to not have a bad experience with time frames of receiving this back. PROS: • Car parking allocation, free parking • Very spacious unit, very happy with the amount of room and size of the bathrooms and the kitchen. • Bed and pillows were comfortable. • Staff were friendly. • No streaming on TV’s but there was foxtel on the main TV and only regular channels in the bedroom. • Cold working aircon throughout. • 2 working lifts. • Big balcony • Rubbish chute was close CONS: • We stayed on floor 10 - we booked “two-bedroom apartment with ocean view” and unfortunately there was only a very small partial ocean view which was disappointing for our 7 night stay, was hoping for a pretty view. • Sliding door did not lock which is fine as we are in a higher story but still unsettling as it’s unsecured. • Unit has dirty marks over the walls, needs a good clean. • The water temperature is a challenge, one minute you will be having a shower at the temp you set then the next minute the shower is boiling hot and burning you. • There are very limited car parking spaces for the hotel, I think that people take more than the 1 allocated car space per booking and this becomes a challenge to find a car park, very disappointing when you’re allocated a car parking space at booking then you miss out due to not enough spaces. • Furniture is very well worn.

Two bathroom option with showers, good amount of open space. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

Customer service could have been better. The check-in was not as smooth given my card was not accepted and manually entered my details for the deposit. Then when checking out, they again asked for my card details and I am still waiting for the refund of the deposit. When calling to enquire, received abrupt response that email was sent confirming refund and will need to wait a few days. I followed up with an email and again received the same response without them looking into whether the details they have entered for my refund was correct. Disappointed with this outcome as I would have considered coming back to this place otherwise.

Our stay at Synergy Broadbeach was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Claudia, the General Manager, and her team made us feel incredibly welcome. Their attentiveness and commitment to exceptional service truly set the tone for our visit. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool and spa area—an oasis of relaxation that we took full advantage of daily. Whether it was a morning dip or an evening soak, the facilities were pristine and inviting. The gym was another plus—clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for a solid workout. Our apartment was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. It was quiet, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained, ensuring a restful and comfortable stay. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to Broadbeach’s best attractions. Overall, Synergy Broadbeach exceeded our expectations, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. A huge thank you to Claudia and her amazing team for making our stay so enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back! Would we stay again? Absolutely!

The spa was heating but the bubbles weren’t working. I understand the team were working on it during our stay.

Room was large. Modern Kitchen and appliances. Great TV with Full Foxtel. Location fantastic with the new tram system right at the front door for access into surface paradise with ease (better than driving in) and to pacific fair shops or casino. Directly across the road to the convention center and close walk to food and shops. Perfect for the longer stays of 5-10 days and not wanting to be cramped.

Elevators could be a bit slow at peak times so allow extra time. The spa was out of action while we had been there Pool was heated which is great in winter but would be nicer a little colder in the summer. Our feet would be very dirty bear foot in the room even though it looked clean. Made me think carpets may have been overdue for a clean

All was great about our stay, we stayed during the power outages on the Gold Coast after spending 5 days at home without power, so we were very grateful to have the comfort of your hotel to stay in. On arrival our first room the air cons were not working, maintenance was sent to deal with the problem immediately, he then found us a second room helping us move all our luggage unfortunately air conditioner problem in this room also,our maintenance man then sorted another room for us, helping us move again. I think his name was Orlando, so to him a major Thankyou for all he did to help us the way he did he was amazing.

Location was fantastic, very central to all amenities and public transport was great and easily accessible right out the door. The shopping was fabulous with a huge variety of cuisines to suit all budgets within walking distance. Residents that reside in the building were all very friendly.

Pool area, not very accessible with access only available from the short edge and up a set of stairs. For the size of the building the pool was quite small, we actually only used it once during our week long stay for this reason but with the beach so close by it was not an issue.

Apartment view, very comfortable, safe building with elevator and entrance tag. The pool was at a nice temperature and always clean and tidy. Staff was very efficient and very friendly. Excellent location, very close to the beach and restaurants. Conveniently scouts the street from the light rail that takes you to the shopping mall and to Surfers Paradise centre.

It would have been great if there were black out curtains as the sun comes out really early. Also nice to have more cutlery, specifically knives that cut properly and ideal if there were basic condiments.

Fantastic apartment with all the things you could ever need. Kitchen includes all the things you expect, full sized fridge, microwave, stove in a decently sized area, as well as a washer and dryer tucked within. All consumables and dinnerware available. Generous dining table, with plenty of seating. Lounge area was comfortable with 2 couches and television with Foxtel. Fast internet connection as well. Small balcony area, which was expected, with outdoor tables and chair. Great views of the river, with described "Mountain View" looking away from the beach. Spacious bedroom, decent sized bed with ensuite with shower, toiler and sink. Power-points near the bed with USB ports was convenient. Plenty of storage space for the suitcase in the walk-in wardrobe. Easy after hours access, secure car parking and walking distance to the beach and plenty of eateries nearby. Good sized pool and spa area. Great staff interactions made the stay pleasant.

Maintenance on the exterior of the property during daylight hours meant privacy was compromised as I wasn't able to fully enjoy the views and natural light, needing to have the curtains and blinds closed for privacy reasons. "Double" bed was two single beds pushed together.

Everything was there. All the cooking utensils, pots/pans. Room wasn't too big or too small. Just right for family of 4 with two pre-teens. I liked the room we had which looked north/west. Lifts are really fast. Enough hotel parks that we could find one each day including when we returned at midnight on Saturday. Very close to shops. Bathrooms are simple, but clean. No bath. Shower pressure isn't great, but certainly fine. Couches were pretty uncomfortable. Beds were a little soft for me. Great views looking west towards some sort of hills/ranges from the bedrooms.

Hotel was a little tired. Surprising since it is only 9 years old. Just small things: outdoor light was broken, door handles loose. Pool and spa were fine, but wish more lights were working in the pool. (Bit of a health and safety issue to be honest as hard to see bottom at night). There are building works going on which we were warned about. Fortunately our room was on the other side so we never heard anything. But we did get street noise when the veradah doors were open. Not a big issue. There is also a tram stop outside, so you get the ding ding everytime it stops. We were on the third floor, so if you were higher, it's probably not an issue or certainly less of an issue.

Rooms where beautiful, location was great, tram was right there.

Only one lift was working at the time so it took 15min to get the lift back down to ground. But in your defence there must have been somebody moving in as there where moving blankets everywhere, so that's fine. Also there where renovations getting done so no pool till after 3pm every day. And we had painters painting our door while we where staying there yet the place was empty, I just thought there was a time and a place. But these are all things outbof your hands so all in all It was a great stay.
