We loved the location, right next to the beach, a short walk to the Kurrawa Surf Club and all the cafes around it. The view is awesome. The pool is heated and kids loved the spa next to it - stayed there even during rain. Our apartment (superior) had renovated windows - was quiet inside even during a storm, and was quite spacious as well. We’ve noticed that aircons were dirty, but staff was very helpful and organised a technician to do a deep clean the next day. Loved that there are trolleys in the basement - saved us so many trips up and down. Renovated rooms and bathrooms are really nice.

Initially we got an apartment with an aircon only in the lounge - it really struggled to get any cool air to any of the bedrooms. The staff was helpful and swapped it for another apartment that had an aircon in the master bedroom as well. It appears that superior apartments don’t have a bath anymore, even though it was mentioned in the description. But kids were quite happy to stay in the spa instead. Master bedroom and en suite weren’t renovated.

We love the location - across the road (quiet rd) from the beach, close to the surf club, park, restaurants, pubs and supermarket & a stones throw from the Kurrawa Park where there is often entertainment or markets on. We went with the superior apartment which had more modern furnishings and/or refurbishment and we like that we can rent the unit as a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom despite it being a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom - the lounge/living area is actually bigger compared to other 1 bedroom apartments we have stayed in at Broadbeach. Out of hours check in process was simple. This is our 3rd time staying at this apartment building.

Nothing really - can't fault the staff, the apartment layout, the views or location. This particular unit had a noisy aircon which we addressed with reception who were more than willing to get someone onto it asap. Actually, just thought of something - we don't like that the sauna is not unisex. The building has 2x separate saunas - 1 for women & 1 for men.

Loved the position of the Talisman Apartments, being across the road from the beach...therefore ENJOYED SPECTACULAR views and the sounds of the waves!!! Loved the size and cleanliness of the apartment. The apartment provided everything one needs for a great holiday, from crockery glasses bowls, pots and pans to placemats, foil, clingwrap, clothes hoist, pegs, shopping bags, etc. Everything!!! The bed was very comfortable! Walk-in wardrobe too!

I did not like that we only had access to the ensuite bathroom but not the full bathroom. This was an inconvenience, as my family came to visit and had to go through our bedroom to use the small ensuite! 😏

What did we like? Everything! We booked with short noticed after leaving accommodation we were really dissatisfied with. From the moment we made contact with the team at Talisman, it completely changed what started as a nightmare holiday and made it fantastic! The moment we stepped foot in reception we were greeted by super friendly staff who arranged an early checkin for us. Our room was exceptionally clean, really spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The view from our room was spectacular! Every staff member we came across during our weeklong stay was friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment was fantastic for going to the beach or walking to dinner or our daily Yo-chi splurge. With the supermarket so close by we literally could have lived there and it was very hard to leave.

We arrived super early, and unfortunately, our room was not ready, nor could it become ready early for us. After seeing how tired we were and with a baby with us, the manager decided to upgrade us to get into a room immediately so we could all get some rest. The vending machine in the lobby was very convenient and reasonably priced. The view was amazing and very quick and easy access to the beach, a short easy walk to the local shopping centre and a bus stop almost at the front door made this trip super easy for us.

The washing machine looked as though someone who had never used one before attempted to use it and made a horrible mess inside the machine. The toilet seat was a little uncomfortable to sit on. It took us a little while to figure out the TV, so maybe a user guide would help. The roller blinds didn't quite block out enough light, so don't expect a sleep in if you need it to stay dark to sleep. There really wasn't a lot to complain about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and these points are just nit-picking.

The fridge needs to be larger especially for people staying a week or more. You can’t use the dryer and tv at the same time because it shifts the fuse! The floor definitely was not mopped prior to our stay - swept yes but you could feel with your feet it had not be mopped.

The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the beach, and only 300 meters from Oasis Mall. There are endless options for restaurants and cafes nearby, making it incredibly convenient. While it's not a brand-new building, all the facilities are very well maintained, free car park is also great. The views are absolutely priceless. From the balcony, we not only watched the sunrise but also saw whales breaching and spouting in the distance—an unforgettable experience! The front desk staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and attentive. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We liked everything.

Great location which had everything we needed for our 10 night stay. On check in, our allocated apartment was not to the standard that we had booked and we contacted the building Manager who immediately organized the relocation to an alternative apartment which matched our booking request. Views from our apartment were outstanding and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunsets from our balcony. Shops, cafes and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The pool area was amazing and both pool and spa were heated which was perfect for this time of year.

We were a little disappointed that the main bedroom only had a Queen sized bed rather than a King.
