Location. Close to the beach. High floor. This meant the only noise I heard for 99% of the day and night was the ocean. I was there to study and finally do an on-line exam late at night (out of Europe). Strange circumstances, but this apartment met my needs. A bit of a panic when I checked in that the Wi Fi was down but that was the Optus disaster that affected the whole country - so no reflection on the accommodation.

Faulty light in the living room was annoying. I meant to report it to management (but the only time it was relevant was at night). Bathroom was small but functional.

Excellent location with stunning views of the ocean. Super clean, well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, the ceiling fans kept the place lovely and cool. It was lovely and quiet during my stay. Very friendly and helpful staff that were happy to help. They gave great advice on places to eat, grab a coffee, shop and transport links. It was a short walk along the beach to get to the main part of town, which had plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. The bus stop is just outside the building so very convenient to get to from the airport. I wish I had booked for longer! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Bus stop right in front of ocean royale - ran every 15 minutes! 5 minute walk to the beach! 2 pools & a jet tub! Used tennis courts every night! Spacious free underground secure parking! 10 minute walk to Oasis Shopping Ctr! Beautiful ocean views from our large balcony! Excellent Fox business channels on large tvs! Air conditioned & clean unit! Amazingly super friendly Ashley & Amber running front desk! Grounds landscaped and kept up well. Overall would highly recommend this location! We have already rebooked for another month”s stay!

A very convenient location for myself and my family. Super comfortable unit with all the requirements for our stay. The Ocean was spectacular and relaxing to see every morning. Close to all the local restaurants and shopping complexes. Particularly for teenage kids---Hassle free check in/ check out. Friendly and helpful staff. I will be back to stay again soon.

For what you pay for -we couldn't complain too much. We did have some left over clothing from a previous group left in the bedroom cupboards--other than that, no too much. Dryer flint wasn't cleaned out & still full. However, the unit was clean and hospitable.

Firstly I would like to mention Amber who was super friendly and extremely helpful with any query or question we had, from bus routes to best places to eat, tours, places of interest. She was fantastic and helped us so much, so a definite shout out for her. The location was excellent. So close to the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets. Absolutely a fabulous location.

To be honest there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Location, view, spa/indoor pool (generally)

TV & wifi reception inconsistent and unreliable (constantly buffering). Spa temperature inconsistent (unbearably hot on 3 occasions). Having to take rubbish & recycling down to rubbish room when the building has cleaning & onsite staff. Was not even removed when room serviced. Note - no bin for recycling in room.

Absolutely loved our stay, great location only 10 minute walk to all the delicious eateries and less than a minute to the beach! The view from our room had beach views, it was so relaxing waking up to that. The room was clean, everything was in good working order and the kitchen was fully equipped. The indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic we swam everyday. Would highly recommend staying here, we would definitely stay again.

Loved our stay the beach view is the best

The outside space outside the room is narrow and very outdated as is the furniture it didn’t take away from our stay as the view and beach sounds are incredible but they could use an update. Also I think everyone needs a smart tv these days and as it rained a couple of days we were there this would have made it a better stay

The location is outstanding, the view from my balcony was gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean.

Privacy on the balcony if other people were on theirs, no barrier etc but not a huge deal. No air con in the bedroom but the one in the lounge will cool the entire apartment. Guest below me were loud, smoking pot and drinking quite late into the night. I had to close my balcony doors for the smoke smell and noise.

Location was amazing, Ocean view was fantastic. Indoor heated pool and spa was great. Location was great, easy walk to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach shops.

Probably no fault of Ocean Royal but one of the unit owners decided to do some renovations during the last two days of our stay, so those days were filled with jackhammering most of the time. We had to go out to avoid the noise.
