The restaurants were fantastic. The location is great, very close to shops, transport and the beach. Room was spacious and had a nice view from the balcony. The tv in the room was huge. Bed was comfortable. The pool/bar was great.

The smell of the karl largerfield everything. Soap, shampoo, air freshener or something in the corridor? I don’t know if it’s designed to cover something up or if someone decided it smelled good, and while I got used to the smell the first day was really strong and I noticed it a lot. The curtains in the room could use a wash. Mine had a gross stain on the inside. Lastly, though there was no smoking inside anywhere, the people in the room below me smoked on their balcony and it would waft upward which wasn’t nice.

We did Enjoy Our Stay Immensely. It was our 35th Anniversary. We Thank Your Staff for being so wonderful and giving us a Beautiful Card & a Lovely Bottle Of Sparkling Champagne to enjoy in our suite with Family & Friends.

The Bed in The Executive Suite could of been More Luxurious for being That type of Suite. We found The lounge was a Bit Out dated & could be more Luxurious Like The Darling...! As I've stayed numerous of times and other room's like Club suites and corner suites & The Darling & beds were more comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. But We Had A Nice Stay Non The Less.

I'm familiar with hotel have stayed there many times. Friendly, food good, room service food good. Breakfast in Harvesters good best to arriv e early or late as very crowded in peak time 8.30-9.30 am.

My hotel room looked very worn. The down stairs lounge area looked very worn too. Was very annoyed (for the second time) i left expensive new iphone charger and cord in room when checking out, housekeeping staff obviously have kept it. Made several call to follow up but "nothing". (could only be the two housekeepers that came in soon after i left).

We stayed in room 1632 and the view over the canal and hinterland was lovely. The room and bed were very comfortable and peaceful. Just what we needed. Harvest Buffet dinner seafood and dessert was exceptional. Hubby said all the mussel dishes were divine. The dessert was exceptional as always.

Check in was very busy with a huge line and lengthy wait but we made sure we checked out earlier to avoid the delay on our way home. The Harvest Buffet was good although the British menu did not excite us. The roast beef was dry, the roast potatoes were boiled not roasted but the prawns were delicious and the oysters kilpatrick were delicious. We said we wouldn't go back again after the first night but decided that it was easier to eat there again the second night and besides the seafood was great.

Didn’t know what the weather was going to be maybe they should use BOM we knew the weather was going to be good a week before we got there check in a disaster No organisation Waiting 1 and a half hours to check in. older people queuing with walking frame. No offer of water . terrible

Loved the Buffet inclusion in the overnight stay The attention to detail in the rooms was great Toiletries fabulous Level 21 fabulous- your Canapes, sweets OMG🤗 - just Devine along with the wine 👌👏👏

The Line waiting to check-into The Star was way too long despite having 5 staff..maybe simplify the process? I arrived at 3pm & didn't get into my room till after 4pm😳 Re; The Buffet..there were no salads or veges available that I could see & the staff in the cook area did not look happy & would not raise their heads to assist anyone I was trying to find staff to ask questions but no-one was available..the only staff I could see were the cleaners When it's a full house maybe have 3 Coffee machines..the line to get a cup of tea was a joke The children should be in an area of their own..there were 20 kids under 5 running around the buffet whilst we were trying to get food & drink☹️

The pool area is great. It’s a big pool, there are a lot of deck chairs, and two sizeable spas. A big tv plays music. The room was nice, beds comfortable, and room service was good. Staff came to ask if you want the mini bar topped up each morning, which is helpful. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Had view of the pool from the room, and just outside the room door you can see down into the casino entrance, cafe, lobby area etc, which is good as you can see what’s going on/ how busy the place is. Harvest buffet was great!

Rooms aren’t well sound proofed, so you can hear people on each side. TV chrome casting was very hit and miss (mostly miss) so I wished I brought my laptop. I know it was school holidays and I had teenagers with me, but the pool (and especially the spa) was overrun by toddlers/small children, which wasn’t ideal. An adult’s only area wouldn’t go astray. The hotel itself isn’t too far from Broadbeach, but the hotel is so big that it feels cut off from the nearby streets

For breakfast we walked around for 15 minutes trying to find a table, then ended up helping to clear a table to sit at. Which was a shared table with another family. Which was fine because they were happy enough to share. Apart from that, the service from your chef team was very friendly.

The buffet service was a little hectic. We had dinner and breakfast. The staff were lovely, but the cue for dinner service was a little confusing. We lined up twice as we didn’t realise with all the lines of people that, one line was for bookings and the other for non bookings. All though the signage was closer to the bookings desk. It was hard to tell which line was for which group.

The location was great…central to all the places we wanted to go so we could walk or have a short Uber and tram stop right out of the front. all the restaurants in the building were very nice and convenient. The room was spacious and modern and the staff were very friendly.

The bed and pillows were abit soft for my liking. The pool area was busy and crowded 100% of the time so we didn’t swim in the pool and the house keeping was abit inconvenient time wise…they would service the room between 3 - 6pm when we would be getting ready for dinner.

Location! Shaded walkway to the Entertinment centre is the bighest selling point for me. So nive when you are with kids and going here and back all day for few days. We trtaveled for an event. Will definately stay again!!! Pool was a delight for kids. Plenty of rest areas and movie for adult who can not jump in a pool all day, but stay arround to watch kids. Parking and taxis at the front door are nice. Gorgeous design! (I'm an architect/urban designer). Well maintained and clean Loved 21st floor gate away - handy to get time for yourself when traveling wiht family. Automatic curtains and shades in a room are a nice touch. Not many hotels do. Kids said they feeled like they are superreach :)

The only things that were not perfect Way too high pillows. We all had sore necks in the morning. But it's a common issue when traveling. Food choices at the star were less than we expected. But we came from Sydney. We might be spoiled. Still, my kid got some kind of allergic reaction and vomited 10min after trying a single dimsim and bobba tea. This never happened before. But she recovered. We were eating ourside the Star afterwhat not wanting to risk it. Everyone else in a family was fine. Also expected an airport transfer from the Star. But maybe I'm asking too much Views were not really impressive. But OK But overall we had a wonderfull stay. Will definately stay again
