The location is perfect for the shopping centre and the beach

Try to work out a way to waive the car parking fee as we paid $60 just to have our car parked there over 3 nights… INSANE

Check-In at Reception was easy, the gentleman behind the counter was lovely, kind and very helpful asked all the right questions and was also very helpful with our parking. Check-out was just as good, greeted kindly and easy and fast check-out. Suite 3302 Full kitchen very very clean, dishwasher, microwave. We made good use of the kitchen. Washer and dryer. All in great working condition. Great instructions on how to work everything too. Love there was a safe. Bathroom/shower is also very very clean. View is beautiful Day and night. Both pools are so good. The gym is on the smaller side but still has everything for a good workout. The gym and the pools got used twice a day 6am at opening and 7pm. 9pm they both close.

There are 4 lifts but during peak your waiting a while.

Pool on level 6 great. lovely seating and atmosphere.

Some of the bartenders were really not competent on the ground floor pool bar area. The ones on level 6 were very experienced and professional. Ordering the same thing on the ground floor bar was disappointing, when drinks are expensive and the outcome was vastly different. Further training required for the bar tenders on that ground level. Clearer instructions required when arriving after 10pm as there was no clear sign or email directing us to the grand reception to be let in. We had to wait half an hour to finally connect with someone to be told go to another area to get signed in. This should have been communicated far better via the messaging emails I received.

The Star Residences was well positioned to Broadbeach and the Convention Centre. The standard of the apartment was exceptionally high, everything looked fresh and new. The bathrooms were very modern, one with a beautiful free standing bath and the kitchen was well appointed, with a Nespresso coffee machine. The views from the apartment were incredible. There were plenty of lifts in the tower and they worked efficiently. The reception staff were attentive and helpful.

Unloading our luggage at our building was confusing as the casino complex is not so well sign posted.

The room was very clean and easily accessible from lifts with all the luggage. The pools were Devine. We prefer level 20pool as it was more quiet and warmer.

*The fridge wasn't the coldest. Even after turning the dial to coldest. I had to use the freezer to keep milk etc cold. *The shampoo was next to bathroom basin and the shower had 2 body washes. So I had to step out of the shower to get to the shampoo which were locked in little caddys. I ended up purchasing shampoo n conditioner from supermarket. Besides that it was a pleasant stay.

The Star is an amazing property, close to everything and clean and just wonderful. I particularly liked the huge windows which was beautiful overlooking the city lights, river and mountains. We also went to breakfast at the Star Harvest Buffet next door which was really nice and worth the money!

The lifts take awhile compared to other hotels I have stayed at. Nothing too crazy for wait times though. Parking is located behind the casino which makes it abit of an inconvenience when checking out as you have to drive your car around the Main Street again to the reception. Worth it all though the star residences is lovely!

I usually stay at the Dorsett, but I decided to try The Star Residences. I loved being in more of an apartment and having a kitchen and laundry. The room was clean and had everything you would need for a stay on the Gold Coast. The close proximity to trams, buses, Pacific Fair, and Oasis was wonderful. I was lucky enough to be on level 48 and absolutely loved the views from the balcony. Reception staff were friendly, and the facilities are all top tier. There are also plenty of dining options, and I enjoyed being able to go straight to the Casino from the residence.

There was a little noise from the construction works for Tower Two, but it wasn't really loud enough to disrupt my stay. It would also be slightly more convenient if there was closer access to Pacific Fair or the beach from the hotel/apartment, as you have to walk in a loop to get across.

Views, views, views!! Excellent property! We were in apartment 13011 ocean view two bedroom. What a fantastic apartment! The views from the floor to ceiling windows were incredible! The apartment was larger than we thought it would be, clean, and tidy. It had a washing machine, dryer, kitchen with enough cooking pots pans, jug for coffee etc… microwave, oven, cutlery and utensils. The balcony was a good size with two chairs and small table. The view from the balcony was incredible! We have stayed in Broadbeach quite a few times, opting for beach front. However, this time we wanted a skyline view. We got both the skyline and the ocean. I will leave pics.

Having to leave so soon. Place was excellent. The lifts were a little challenging with a bit of a wait, but nothing a complaint should be warranted.

Loved the whole resort hotel experience. Was beautiful hotel, great location and great facilities. Pool area was amazing, great to be at the heart of the Star Casino

The lifts! Was such a long time to get a lift. It was a real issue. So many people complained about this. Took an eternity to get to your floor so sometimes had to take an up lift just to be able to get into a lift to go down. The only thing I could fault of the hotel, however a serious design flaw (and I think they cut off lifts for staff to go up and down - ie cleaners)

Comfortable roomy apartment with a great balcony and views. Very clean.

The air con wasn’t on in the room. Room was like a sauna. The control panel at the front door is very confusing, not even sure what it controls but it’s not the air con! Found it outside the bathroom. Pulled up to the accommodation in our car but have to drive out again to get to the car park on the opposite side of the complex, no valet parking! Pretty annoying on a busy Friday evening and no advance notice that’s how their parking operates. Would have been good to know in advance then we’d have gone straight to the car park instead.
