I felt very safe as a solo traveller with outside doors and gates being locked in the evening. Although on the smaller side (from what I am used to) it had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable which is major for me and having the use of a washing machine was also helpful.

It was a tad small but not unmanageable. The kitchen (kitchenette) has no prep area so I had to be creative (doable) Although my terrace was huge it only had sun for a couple of hours early (I am a sun seeker) so for me I would have liked to be more sun accessible. The light in the bedroom was a little dim so makeup application was interesting! It was quite noisy early in the mornings with local construction but I do wear earplugs so again not major for me.

Our stay at Costa D'Ora Holiday Apartments was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Gary and Helen welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a memorable week. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and perfectly equipped with a fully functional kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning and a charming balcony. The location is in the center of Surfers Paradise and we were able to visit a lot by foot. Gary and Helen went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their recommendations for local attractions, dining spots, and hidden gems were incredibly detailed and tailored to our interests, making our explorations effortless and enriching. What stands out most is the genuine passion Gary and Helen pour into their hospitality. Their attentiveness and kindness made us feel like cherished friends rather than just guests. Leaving was bittersweet – we already miss the cozy apartment, the stunning surroundings, and most of all, the wonderful hosts. Thank you, Gary and Helen, for a holiday that felt like a home away from home. Costa D’Ora is an absolute gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The 3 story apartment building is located in a quieter street with underground parking. The entrance is very tropical with gardens well kept and host Gary showed us the parking, amenities and led us to our apartment on the second floor. Gary was very helpful and we were able to access the Sky Point 77 story observation level with him. He pointed out all the different views and a brief history of the Gold Coast buildings. Its about a 5 minute walk to the Tram station and the beach.

The rooms were maybe a little older but this was reflected in the price.

Practically next to the Skypoint building Costa d'Ora is a very nice location tot stay in Surfers Paradise. Host Gary makes it even better so you feel yourselves immediately at home. Swimming pool is small but nice but who needs a swimming pool with the beach so close? The apartment is nice and clean but we missed a second pan to cook with. Spacious rooms and balcony. Gary invited us to the Skypoint deck (230m) and thanks to his information you will know a lot more about the Gold Coast, its history, the coming Olympics in 2032 and the things and places to see and visit.

The apartment was very cozy but plenty of room for a 1 bedroom apartment. It is only 1 block away from the main beach and 3 blocks away from Surfers paradise main area and 1 block away from the tram stop. Property managers are amazing people. Gary even helped me unload my car with our luggage on arrival. Helen always made sure the room was clean and clean linen was provided at all times. Room was even steam cleaned before our arrival. We loved this accommodation so much that we have already booked our next holiday with them for next year. The room has all the facilities you need for a small family get away. Under cover car park was big enough to store out Ute safely.

Not a major issue but a dish washer and dryer would have been handy to have in the room (or a second clothes line), but we still managed to get by for a family of 3. Next time we will just request a second clothes line to help with hanging up the clothes.

Perfect Location! Close to Cavill Mall, the beach, the tram and eating places. Every apartment is fully self contained, the washing machine was a bonus, and so was the ceiling fan in the bedroom and air con in the lounge area. Gary is an excellent host, made us feel welcomed from the minute we arrived. We definitely got value for the money spent and would return here again. The car parking was a bonus, the security at the place was also a bonus with the locked front gate and hallway doors at night. All ground units had a ranch slider and a back door which was convenient to get to our other rooms we had. The pool was smaller than expected but definitely welcoming in the 35 degrees heat for a cool down and it was always clean. Lovely courtyard with bbqs, outdoor tables and chairs and umbrellas. We throughly were happy with our accom and best of all it was clean! I would highly recommend this place!

Everything was great.

The managers, clean apartment, gated parking in the basement (protected from the sun), balcony on the front street, medium size refrigerator (not a mini), good location, has almost everything you need (washing machine, air conditioning, stove and oven, etc.) Small swimming pool. *I assume not all apartments are the same, so ask questions

Noise from the main road nearby. Odd smell in the bathroom. The apartment is showing its age (old-fashion). No dryer if you are in a hurry but there is a drying rack. (Fyi,some apartments have a balcony with a view of a car park, we were glad that this was not the case for us). *I assume not all apartments are the same, so ask questions

So conveniently located. Secure under cover parking. Communication was clear and easy. Very clean and well maintained, even though it is not a new and modern block. The combination of air conditioning and ceiling fans kept our apartment nice and cool when we were in. The apartment was quiet. Beautiful gardens. We were mostly out, but I liked that there was a BBQ and seating outside around the pool area. A short walk to the beach and to the tram.

I can’t fault the property. I don’t like using stairs as I had a recent knee replacement, but that is about all. The property layout does not allow for a lift. Stairs were easy to use though.

Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had the best experience possible during our stay. We received helpful hints as to where we would find the best dining, sightseeing, shopping experience and activities during our stay. The staff made bookings for us, helpful hints as to transport and even walked us to places where we had the most enjoyable experiences. Could not recommend the staff more highly for ensuring we had the best stay possible.

Height of steps made climbing the stairwell to our room a little difficult.

I loved how private the apartment was. Felt safe. Greeted on arrival. Manager was very hospitable. Location was perfect, beach access and public transport 5min walk from apartment. Loved that they had a locked security garage for on-site parking. Great place to stay for price if your just passing through like me. Loved my time spent there. Will stay there again.

No designated areas to smoke. Had to smoke on the road. I understand why though. Otherwise liked my stay there.
