* Location was perfect, so easy and close to everything I needed. * Room was wonderful apart from the things stated below. * Tried the pool twice, was great. * Saw the sauna but didn't get around to trying it out. * Met some really nice people with-in the complex, would consider being a permanent resident if I moved up to the Gold Coast sometime in the future.

* Mattress' were very used and uncomfortable, spent few nights on the couch. * Very off smell coming from vents in bathroom, guess that has to do with no fan in the bathroom and can only use the open window. * Wished the spa was slightly separate to the pool so that it could be heated, was bummed at that.

It's in a good location, close to the beach and Surfers Paradise attractions, but not too noisy — just the sound of the road. All of the kitchen appliances worked well. The one-bedroom apartment was comfortable and not too small for one or two people.

It's a hotel-resort type of place, so you should realize that you won't be isolated from hearing people enjoying the pool and bbq, nor from seeing the occupants of other rooms from your balcony. But that wasn't an issue for us. It's just a small note for travelers seeking total privacy and quiet.

Very satisfied with Ms Carol Reception Manager. Always helpful and present for any situation. Easy to reach per phone. The Studio Apartment 79A has been renovated everything is new no carpet new kitchen new bathroom... lovely terrace connected to a huge private terrace where you can see the Sunset. The studio apartment 79A is on the 3rd level next to the 79 apartment. If possible I'll prefer to stay in this one instead the other one we got which is noisy and with carpet.

The noise behind which is the main road ..during the day impossible to study or to rest take nap.. too much traffic.. Sometimes the neighbours on the 79 apartment music or Tv to loud until very late in the night.. impossible to sleep before 11pm

The pool was great and so was the size of the living area. We stayed for two weeks and never felt cramped.

We were supposed to get a change of linen halfway through our stay but this didn't happen- it was okay because there was a washing machine but it would have been nice to not have to do the big washing day. We also booked the same type of room as our friends and theirs was a lot more modern and clean, with a dishwasher and full sized fridge, toiletries etc. We still think our room was good value for money, but would love to see all rooms modernised like our friends was!

From reading reviews it seems like your experience here is all down to what room you are allocated. I was placed in a top floor room on the far side of the property (away from tram). I had an amazing stay, room was spacious, light filled, well equipped and convenient for reaching beach, shops and transport. All clean, quiet and modern. Felt safe with a security gate.

Can’t think of much

I liked the location so close to public transportation! The staff were excellent and the room had everything we needed. I accidentally left my wallet at the resort, and didn’t realise till I was at the airport. The staff were amazing and posted it to me. They also gave us chocolates on arrival! So cute! Customer service is a 10/10.

Great location right next to Surfers Paradise. There is plenty of space in the rooms and two bathrooms with toilets and a shower with a dryer and washing machine in the master bedroom bathroom. Great for Wasing towels after the beach.

It does look a bit old, and the sliding doors are hard to open as they need maintenance in the apartment I was in. You have to pay for extra towels and a limited supply of toilet paper.

No breakfast included. The location was fine.

I tried to change from a two bedroom unit to a one bedroom. I was told to contact booking.com which I did but got no reply. We are in our eighties and 13 steps from the car park and twenty four up to the unit carrying luggage was just ridiculous. Also the light rail was just outside the bedroom window. Although the venue was very nice I am not happy about the above conditions.

i loved the size of the apartments and having everything equipped for a self sustained stay! the staff were lovely and the amenities were well kept.

there is no elevator so by the end of my stay my legs were definitely tired from going up and down three stories every-time we left but everything else was amazing and that’s truely not an issue unless you’re a wheelchair user, etc.
