The view from apartment 402 is just spectacular. The location is central to everything and our room was really clean. There was a good supply of consumables (not the usual 1 item). The beds were comfortable and it was great being able to pick your own car park to suit our large car.

The elevators take soooo long. We were disappointed we weren’t a little higher but in the end thankful due to the elevators. I realise this is a property issue, but that was the painful part of the stay. At times our swipes didn’t work in the car park or elevator. It was like they were delayed and had to keep swiping to get them to work. The personal BBQ that was advertised in the property description was not there and there was no evidence there was ever one - no marks on the tiles or utensils in the kitchen. The pillows on the beds were firm and high (thankfully we travel with our own).

Great location, stunning views and great communication with providers. Perfect for families.

Dryer was not working and remained unserviceable throughout the whole period we stayed. It is clear the appliances aren't checked after each stay as this was an easy thing to pick up and replace - especially considering the price charged per night and being touted as a 'luxury stay'. Second shower drained super slow - caused a bit of a concern when showering as you had to stop for a few minutes to let the water drain mid shower otherwise it overflowed onto the bathroom floor (a fair bit)

The property is amazing, location is unbeatable directly across from the beach and surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. Indoor and outdoor pool areas are both beautiful, but pool and spa could be a little warmer - particularly if it's windy it can get cold by the pool. The views from the apartment are amazing and it was very clean and comfortable.

The lifts in the building took forever during busy times (could take 20 mins to get up and down) - there really needs to be more lifts in a property of this size. The key collection in Broadbeach is a bit of a pain without a car as we had to stop there in an Uber on the way from the airport, but with the virtual check in beforehand the key pick up was actually very quick and easy. Spa and pool temperature could be warmer, and the provision of pool towels as part of the booking would be great. The pillows on the bed were a bit uncomfortable

The location was fabulous. The view from every room is spectacular. Sunrise was amazing. The apartment was a great size for our family group. The spa and pool area are fantastic. The gym was great too. The restaurants and cafes in the area were all within walking distance, and the tram was only a short walk from the apartment. There was plenty of parking at the facility.

There is a bedroom on the main living area but does not have an ensuite or shower. There is a toilet and powder room on this level but no shower. I had checked if there was a bedroom downstairs as we were travelling with our elderly parents, but I hadn't specifically checked if it there was an ensuite downstairs. It was fine for us but it would be a problem if travelling with someone unable to manage stairs. There were lots of plates, glasses and cutlery to cater for larger groups but only one small saucepan and a couple of pans for cooking.. It was strange that there was a steamer but no pot to boil water. There is a fridge but no freezer and nowhere to make ice

Initially only given 2 keys and requested 3 car parks. Had problems accessing car park and the man who worked there was bossy and impatient. When we walked into our apartment the painter was painting and told us he was there for 2 days. Spoke to GCLR office and Jamie was great. She organised for painter to leave, cleaning team to clean floors etc, dropped off another key for parking and gave a refund for our first night. After being confused and devastated upon arrival we all had a great time.

New, modern building, beautiful view. Nice and clean apartment. Beds, blankets and pillows are comfy. Nice pool, secret garden and bbq area. Number 1 location where you just go down the lift and have access to hundreds of restaurants and entertainment

The tape wears on the bathrooms, kitchen sink and laundry sink are too strong and splash water everywhere no matter how careful and adjustments we made One suggestion is there can be a handheld vacuum so that guests can have a quick clean by themselves during the stay

Loved the location, shopping and restaurants right on our doorstep. The size of the unit and the spaciousness of the living areas was fabulous and the cleanliness was excellent. The views from our unit were spectacular.

The kitchen setup was difficult to navigate at times. The fridge did not open completely due to installation making the crispers hard to use. The kitchen lacked some essential items i.e. can opener and some utensils were not very sturdy or functional e.g. spatulars and tongs.

The views were amazing from the 41st floor and the Penthouse was very spacious. The rooms were very big and beds and pillows were really comfortable. Location amazing. Everything you could possibly need on your doorstep.

On arrival the floors looked very dirty so really needed a good clean and there was a cockroach outside one of the bedrooms which I was not too impressed with. Later on that night cockroaches appeared all over the lovely balconies so was unable to sit outside and enjoy the views of an evening. This was a shame and I didn’t expect this. GCLR did however send maintenance to spray the areas but apart from a few dead ones they still came back. I understand that cockroaches are hard to control due to the humidity of the Gold Coast but nevertheless when you are paying for 5 star accommodation you don’t expect this.

Outstanding views and location, Room was perfectly clean (sometimes 3rd party companies do not clean rooms as well as Peppers/Mantra etc). Was 43rd floor so the high floor lifts were pretty much express to the apartment as the high floor lifts start at level 40.

A reserved parking bay would be better than finding one each time you take the car out.

The location is across the road from the beach and we had an ocean view room on a high floor and were mesmerised by the beautiful beach and the sound of waves that lulled us to sleep. The apartment is spacious and clean and the kitchen is well equipped . The pools wer lovely- both indoor and outdoor and there were many lounges by the pool. There is a secret garden , a gym and sauna. Every morning we just crossed the road and took long walks on the beach. Heavenly!

We had to get the keys off site which for us was not a huge issue but if you were not hiring a car, it may have been a bit of a nuisance.
