The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as was the view of the pool and ocean from our unit. The living area and bedroom appeared to have been renovated and painted fairly recently and were in good condition however, while the shower and bathroom sink were in good condition, there was rust all around the bathroom ceiling and one of the ceiling panels was loose and the ceiling and one wall needed replacing.

The toaster was rusty and needed to be replaced and the microwave oven had rust and paint peeling off the inside and from past experience it would not pass a health and safety check.

For a budget stay on the beachfront at Surfers it met our needs. Fantastic views from our corner positioned apartment. Bed was comfy enough and the place was clean. We didnt need all the trimmings as out all day and returning late evening. So a perfect spot for a crash pad and the bonus was being able to open your windows in the morning and watch the sun rise and whales passing below amongst the many surfers. Made use of the sauna and steam room.

Provisions were minimal for our 4 day stay. There is no cutlery at all or plates provided. Just glasses, coffee mugs and a couple of teaspoons. So even though there is a microwave - best pack some utensils in your suitcase. But it is a budget price for a great spot.

Fantastic location. We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and been more than happy every time. There is free parking downstairs, and the beds are super comfy. The shower pressure is good, and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The kitchen and couch etc are extremely basic and old, worn, but that comes with the low pricing. I spend very little time actually in the room when visiting, so it may depend on that, but if you are just needing spacious, good bed, shower, views etc, should be everything you need. There is a pool area, but I have never seen or used it.

Clean, large unit with lovely view of the ocean and pool. Central beachfront location close to everything. A short walk to the tram up to Main Beach or down to Broadbeach and the Star Casino. The Sandbar cafe/bar is onsite on the waterfront which is great for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The Hotel was very good value and we will return. There was no balcony as such but large double sliding glass doors open up to the view with a railing. No aircon in the one bedroom apartments only in the studio units. There are fans and large windows and sliding doors to allow plenty of breeze

Excellent view had the beach side unit that we had before but this tie lv 1. Good size unit with kitchen dinning lounge and good size bathroom. Parking included with the room no extra and undercover. Staff very friendly.

Forgot no aircon but does have ceiling fans in lounge and bedroom but this time of year was a little uncomfortable with humidity. The spa bath is getting a little tired and the spa outlets are corroded, that we didn’t use anyway. The position of shower head and shape of spa bath was hard to get directly under the shower and was no rails to hold onto. A small stain on loungeroom carpet. Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay again. The price was very good.

I recently stayed at this 3-star accommodation, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! The views were absolutely breathtaking, making every moment truly special. The location couldn’t be better—everything you need is right at your doorstep. Plus, the price was fantastic for the quality of service and experience provided. The staff were incredible, always friendly and eager to assist with anything we needed. I was so impressed that I’ve already booked my next stay! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

Honestly, we didn’t stay long enough, but that was entirely our fault!

It had great facilities, everything any other more expensive resort would have but better value for money. The location was probably better than alot of other more expensive hotels, being two streets away from Cavill ave, and opposite the beach. I fell asleep listening to the sound of the waves every night and watched the sunrise and sunset each day. It’s a little bit of an older hotel but was everything I expected. Clean and comfortable rooms. Opposite some great restaurants.

The temperature of the spa could be a bit warmer, but that was my personal preference. For other people it would probably be just right.

The location was great - property was just opposite from the Surfers Paradise Beach. We got a beachfront room in the 16th floor and the view from the room was amazing, both day and night. The room is a bit old, however it had all the essentials including a mini fridge and a microwave, and we used the laundry facility at the hotel, which was clean and at a reasonable cost. It had a basement parking facility which was well organised. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again in a next visit to Gold Coast.

Excellent Location( Beach front). Big size air-conditioned room. Views of Ocean and city from 15th floor is excellent. Small kitchen (part of main room)with all required cutlery including fridge, cook top, microwave, cattle, toaster etc., good sized comfortable bed, iron with table everything you need is provided. Bath room is also enough size. Pool and spa pools are clean and maintained . Sports room equipped with table tennis etc. maintained well. Laundry and dryer ( at guest cost) is good and reasonable priced. Customer service at reception is also warm and well replied. old furniture is clean and maintained. TV provides regular channel + entertainment channel like You tube etc. WiFi is good. Overall I like to visit and stay at this property again.

There is no intercom connecting reception. This is very dangerous from safety of guest point of view in case of any inside/outside emergency arise. For your any needs/question you have to get down all the way from top floors. This is annoying too. Daily House keeping service is absolutely none. Property provides toiletries, towel etc only once at the time of entry, then it will be charged Xtra. Daily cleaning of room and bed sheets is also not provided. This is pathetic. Tapestry on chairs are also torned. Toilet paper hanger in bathroom was dislocated. When I have reported these it was assure to fix but till the time of leaving (after 4:days stay) it was not even inspected. Free Water is available from water tap of kitchen sink.
