The marketing should have showed a picture of the sea from the ground floor balcony rather than level 5. It was deceptive where we were staying.

Great location, close to the central area of Surfers Paradise with all the shops and restaurants. The apartment was fairly clean upon our arrival and it was more spacious than expected.

We were asked to clean the apartment and were threatened that if we don’t, we might be charged extra. This was extremely weird for us as it is a hotel providing a service for the guests, not the other way around :) cleaning by the staff should be included in the charges as in every other hotel all over the world….

The best thing about this apartment is the location. You can't get any closer to the beach. And it's within walking distance to the shopping area, walking distance to the tram station. When we arrived we didn't know about the public transportation, so we took a taxi, and it cost like $90. When we left, we just took the tram+bus, and it was only $1.50 for 3 people. It was a good size apartment with everything we needed, like washer and dryer, a nice kitchen. Overall, good value for money. I would recommend.

I was a bit disappointed at first because we were on the 2nd floor, and our balcony view was partially obstructed by trees. I would've liked to have a room that's on a higher floor. I was surprised with the strict checkout time of 10am. That's really early. At least we could keep our luggage there until 5pm.

The views and the location were excellent.

The apartment was very dated and in need of a good decor.. The size was ok, but overall, I was quite disappointed with my apartment... The receptionist was pleasant .. The whole building needs a good revamp..

It is located in a beautiful area. The balcony views were stunning, and the beach was just across the street, featuring lovely swimming spots—this was the property's highlight.

The unit is small and has an uninviting, cold atmosphere. The bathroom is cramped, and the fan is excessively loud and cannot be turned off, which is unacceptable. While the leather couches in the living area may look appealing, they are actually quite uncomfortable. The cables behind the TV could use some tidying up. Although the apartment is advertised as a Deluxe Unit due to recent renovations, I believe it still feels like a standard unit rather than a deluxe one.

Visa holds placed against your Visa card. They say they don’t deduct the money but the money is deducted therefore you’re out of pocket until the Visa hold comes off and then you have to wait for your bank provider to process credit, which can take up to 5-7 days to get your money back. If you stay at various apartments etc whilst on holiday, you can end up with $1000+ on Visa holds.

I travelled with my family. We were in town for a competition held at the Mantra on View, just across the street, and the apartment's location was perfect. It was close to the venue, beach, shops, supermarkets and restaurants, and the apartment amenities were excellent. The apartment was clean and in good condition, with great views out to the ocean. No hassle check-in and check-out.

No beach towels were provided, which was surprising for a beachfront accommodation. Also, the single-pane windows allowed all the noise from cars and parties down on the Esplanade to travel through the apartment, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Can be hit or miss, some rooms are recently renovated, some haven’t been tarted up since the 1980’s. Call it cheap and cheerful with excellent managers. Close to everything you want, beach, cafes, restaurants and a five minute walk to the tram (light rail) with a couple of stops to the centre of surfers Paradise. It’s about 500 m walk to the same place, but the tram is more fun, and it’s cheap, and of course you can get to even more restaurants and beaches (Broadbeach) or big shopping centres in either direction. With Pacific Fair to the south providing the widest retail choices. Recommended

The location was great. The beach was across the road right with a pedestrian crossing. Walking distance to many shops and cafes including Cavill Street. The unit had everything needed, including plastic plates and cups for our son. The balcony was fantastic being able to safely sit outside and breathe in the fresh air while looking out over the beach and listening to the waves. Very little noise inside despite the location (a couple of loud cars every so often).

There was no aircon in the bedroom. With the small apartment it was okay with the big one in the loungeroom but it often meant our son was cold as we were trying to cool the bedroom down. On the last day the neighbours started smoking on their balcony which ruined the use of our balcony.

A very modern and classy deluxe apartment with an excellent ocean view. Walking distance to what we wanted to do while on the GC. Kitchen actually had everything you could need (and plenty of it) while all being clean and fairly new appliances and utensils, etc. Definitely the little things like ceiling fans, plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher tablet for each day we were there, a container of washing powder, liquid hand wash in both bathrooms, etc.

While it was definitely cleaner than most hotels/apartments, it could do with a spring clean / more thorough clean in the not so obvious places. That is if I HAD to pick something and the only thing I can think of. Definitely not a deal breaker and I would stay here again in a heart beat.
