The location was perfect for our travel requirements as we were visiting family in South Townsville. While we did have access to a vehicle it was within walking distance. It is located at the quiet end of Palmer Street - away from the noise and business of this popular night time dining area but was only a short walk to dine at any number of restaurants. Breakfast and dinner options were available if required. The guest laundry, located on each floor was very clean with modern equipment. It was a very pleasant surprise not to have to load the machines with coins! Pool and gym areas were also clean and well equipped for a holiday stay.

As we were on the second floor, a lift would have been appreciated to move suitcases up and down. It would not have been suitable for guests with mobility issues. While there was some secure parking, it was not always available - first in secured a spot. We would have been happy to pay a small fee to secure a spot for the duration of our stay rather than sometimes having to park out on the street. It was however, a pleasant change not to have additional costs.

the room was very nice, new and clean, very comfortable location is good if you have a car to move around town, there are a few restaurants and cafes close by the free laundry and gym are good bonuses

the room is not dark enough at night, there's light coming through the door and blinds, if you are sensitive to it I believe you might have trouble sleeping (my wife did unfortunately) also you can hear some noises from people outside and other rooms, specially at night, but nothing major the breakfast is not a buffet but is good, when you have it included you can choose 1 meal and 1 drink (around $30 per person if you choose to pay separately)

Very clean, fresh and well designed. Comfortable beds, haven't slept in a double since we were teenagers was fun, did not book the readily available larger beds for the adventure. Huge tv, modern remote controlled ceiling fan. Fantastic soft close cabinetry. Remote blinds that didn't really fit properly and let in a lot of light right into your face as you tried to sleep though. Innovative keyless entry system.

Not much to fault here just a couple of minor teething problems. The blind issue was frustrating as a spotlight from next door hits you in the face all night. (Room 102) Couldn't adjust the aircon assuming they are locked for optimal running temps, was a bit warm for us. Small sized toiletries for longer hair. And no face washers. Other than that a fantastic new venture, well done !!

A new clean property designed for corporate stays with small rooms. The room had everything we needed. A separate laundry is available on each floor. We enjoyed the pool on the second floor.

There are no lifts to higher floors if you have heavy bags. There is no information about Townsville, restaurants or shopping malls in the area. We walked to the information centre to learn about The Strand on the waterfront. At check in we were pleasantly surprised to learn our breakfast was included, however, we were asked to pay for extras ie avocado, bacon, juice and coffee. When we ordered. The second morning there was no charge for anything. Staff are new and still learning the ropes it seems.

The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Great variety to choose from and included in stay. This was the highlight of our stay. Price of breakfast was very great too if you did upgrade. Cooking facilities if needed. The lovely big shower head. No under 18s

The bed/ pillows and dunnas were on a budget and not very comfortable. Room and bathroom was a little small. Noisy with lots of doors slamming and people walking past room. Had to keep blind closed for privacy which made the room bit drab. Pool area could have some more shade or umbrellas for the pool chairs.

The location is really good, the setting is private and we had a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast which is included in the rate is very good and the setting is ideal. Staff very friendly and the check-in and out was all done smoothly. We liked it so much that we stayed a second time on our return drive back to Cairns.

There are no lifts, so we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs, not that easy when you get to 71 years of age. The only other thing we did not like is that they put a bond hold on my credit card for both our stays, about $120 each time for safe keeping in case we damaged the room, which we did not. It has almost been three weeks now and the bond is still being held in their system?

Everything. The staff are extremely friendly, very helpful and professional. The car was secured in a lock-up area. The room was super clean, the kitchenette was a great addition. It's a nice quiet location, within walking distance of the East Street Mall and Flinders Street East night-life area. Everything was perfect, I loved it.

Nothing. My wife and I will stay here again when holidaying in Townsville.

Super clean neat ensuite rooms with functional galley mini kitchen. It was quiet . It overlooked the bay/ port/ marina. Our room was at the back. It was more private than some inward looking areas. We took a late check out to 5pm, which is a great idea. All the staff were helpful.

It has the potential to be noisey but there are no children ( over 18 policy) . I would have liked a washing line to avoid using the tumble dryer.

Location and front desk staff. Beds were comfortable and plenty of storage space.

It really needs some sort of soundproofing. I was charged an additonal $20 for a late checkout of 2 hours, after being there for four days. The place was empy at this time. Needs some additional screening on the windows. Ther blind has to be down all the time for privacy, so no natural light.

Close to CBD, friendly staff, room tidy

Breakfast left a bit lacking, very limited options "included" Car park limited space (which was advertised which was also know) but some days easy to park others not a chance Room good but no coffee table etc, eating in room not really suitable (especially given kitchen facilities) and would say so many cupboards that just don't get used, could provide bench or space for suitcase etc.
