Room with 2 double beds ideal for sharing with friend. Room was quiet. Beds were very comfy. Room serviced daily. Liked having a good restaurant on site that had good food, not expensive, good atmosphere. Enjoyed eating at end of day without having to leave resort and sit at table on balcony above Flinders St. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

A microwave would have been good. Expected to wash our cups provided, but no dishwashing liquid or tea towel provided. Shower pressure a bit underwhelming. Needs some towel rails - hooks only.

Lovely accommodation in a central location in Townsville—everything you need is close by. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Having a restaurant on-site was a great bonus, with a wide variety of food options. The pizza was especially delicious

We found the bathroom layout was a bit unusual—there’s no door separating it from the rest of the room, which means there’s little privacy for changing unless you use the toilet or shower area. Additionally, the lighting system in it was a bit inconvenient; all the bathroom lights are connected, so if someone needs to use the toilet at night, the entire area lights up and since there’s no door, the light spills into the main room, which can be quite disruptive to anyone trying to sleep.

The location is perfect, short stroll down to The Strand and plenty of food options available. for those seeking night life entertainment, your in the thick of it with here. Pool area in the middle of all of the rooms made it easy to go grab a quick swim several times a day, however there are plenty of areas and facilities around the pool for you to be able to settle yourself in there for several hours. We had a family apartment which was a little set back so really quiet. Rooms were spacious enough for us all and bathrooms were great. Loved the rain showers. On site parking was helpful to have. Staff were really helpful and nice to deal with.

be careful of the bar fridge it can freeze what you have in there depending on the positioning, over 5 days still didn't manage to find the right balance on it when adjusting temps.

The staff were all really lovely and sociable, whilst still maintaining a more laidback approach which I really appreciated. Facilities are really great, and the vibes were good! It was really convenient having a restaurant right next to the pool, especially on the hotter days where drinks are necessary.

I think the soundproofing needs to be better, especially for the rooms that boarder the lift/stairs/restaurant area. I was staying in room 4 on the third level, and I was able to hear entire conversations of other guests from inside my room.

In the city centre. Good bedding and close to everything. Woodfired pizza and cocktails from the rooftop were wonderful, especially when delivered poolside! Atmosphere was lovely as you could laze about the pool sipping cocktails and enjoying the buzzing of conversation around you, and city business was below, so lots of people watching as we waited for sun set. Suitable for couples, and families of all ages and convenient access to your room for a quick change or loo break before heading back to the pool.

Didn’t realise that while it was three storeys, there was reception on first floor, car park on second floor and rooftop bar AND accommodation on third floor- so if you want an early night, this is not the place. Rooftop music and eating stopped at 10pm. But then we got the night time hoons and revving of engines and wheelies into the night. Our room was number 8, directly next to all of this. Ask for a room away from the bar and pool if you need an early night - we counted least 30+ numbers on different doors around the pool. Our room also had a light that kept me up as the curtains did little to block the light fully.

Wasn’t sure what to expect knowing it was a backpackers hotel in a past life. But wow! What a fantastic hotel. Rooms are comfortable with good sized beds. The pool and restaurant are located on the same level as the rooms which made the stay so easy especially travelling with children. The staff from the front desk to the bar/restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. Great selection of meals available from the restaurant and if you prefer room service they would bring it to your room without a charge or fee. The meals were great value and well priced. I would stay at this hotel again when in Townsville next.

The property had everything from comfortable & spacious villas that are great for group bookings as well as their individual rooms. The pool, bar, and restaurant facilities were great and the staff was so kind to let us do a quick decoration of the poolside lounges so we could celebrate my mum’s 50th. It made our day and created special memories — the staff were super accomodating and Ryan was always prompt and helped a lot with getting us checked in asap and making our stay seamless and enjoyable!

Very nice rooms, great pool, comfy bed, couple of onsite places for food and drinks which deliver to the room. Great location.

Lots of the washing machines/ dryers were out of order during our stay and the charge 5 dollars in coins. Bit of a hassle if you’re someone who doesn’t routinely carry change. Had a connectivity problem with the television but we didn’t ask them to sort it out so it wasn’t a problem, the channels were working. Directions to the parking facilities could be clearer prior to arrival - happy to concede I may not have seen these directions and that would be an oversight on my part.

The staffs were very friendly especially the Filipino staffs. They were so approachable. Foods were good and affordable. Amazing view as well. Location was so great. We had so much fun during our stay.

The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It wasn’t cooling the room. My husband couldn’t concentrate well on his review due to it. We needed to move and change room three times. We were happy since staffs had given us immediate response on our concern but it was just hassle to move our things. The air conditioning in the final room we ended up in wasn't as cold as we had hoped or expected, but it was better than the other two rooms. We are hoping they will change and upgrade their air conditioners since still we want to stay in there if we go to Townsville again.

It was clean and nicely decorated for what is obviously an older hotel. They have done well to modernise it as best they can within the rooms. The poolside bar on the top floor, is a great place to hang out in the evening and very close to the rooms. Underground car parking was free. Liked the free drink and coffee voucher but you do have to purchase a meal in order to get either of these.

The location is in the CBD of Townsville which is really a dead zone apart from nightclubs on the weekend. No fault of the hotel at all but good to know for visitors. There was a free coffee voucher but you have to purchase a breakfast with it. I don't eat breakfast and there are NO other coffee places open in the morning nearby. Also the cafe didn't open until 7am so the nearest coffee place was a drive to the Strand. I don't know if the rooms near the pool would be noisy in the evening as they are next to the bar and people were swimming every time I passed the pool.
