The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and the staff let us check-in early which was a godsend as we had been travelling all night and had a funeral to attend. The room (7) had everything we needed, it was big, had a good sized comfortable bed, a full size fridge, coffee and tea facilities, toaster. Plenty of on site parking. It was walking distance to the Strand. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Townsville.

Room was lovely and clean. Easy Check-in, The shower head had some issues with positioning it but was still useable. Unfortunately there was no WiFi as new owner had not changed it form previous owner so unavailable. Close to esplanade via car. Nice and quite at night. Would stay there again. Note there is stairs for the top floor so make sure they know if you need a ground floor unit.

Nice spacious room! Friendly staff for sure, and tidy and respectable. Value for money is good compared with today's standard for cost of any ccommodation anywhere! (ideally I wouldn't fancy a room above 100- for a night at hotels & motels). It's a real pleasure to wake up here and have that beautiful red rock staring right at your face. 😊 .... And, there's a nice ice little pool here! Likely to return. 🤗

Friendly manager. Clean comfortable room, ceiling fan as well as aircon, and could open the windows.

Someone tried to get into my room on the first night, key in the lock, then banged on the door. I told home to go away and he did, but it was scary and I didn’t sleep for some hours afterwards. Staff (?) were quite noisy in the morning, radio and yelling out.

Great location just out of the waterfront area and close to the goat track leading up Castle Hill. Very clean, comfy bed, lovely pooch in reception.

It was a perfectly fine overnight stay before kicking onto Magnetic. Only the uber noisy chain smoking bunch of kids blaring nonsense hip hop and yelling at 120 decibels by the pool was a negative. It didn't kick on into the wee hours but I appreciate forward notice that large partying groups are booked to stay when I am.

this motel is an older style motel, but it was well equipped and comfortable which suited our needs fine. the motel is walking distance to the city centre, strand and Cowboys Leagues club. the motel was in the process of renovations during our stay which should make this motel even better.

The room was very spacious with lots of areas to put suitcases. There were basic kitchen facilities where you could prepare sandwiches or use the microwave. We had a smidgen of view to the south. There was a huge shared balcony where you could sit and enjoy the view of Castle Hill. It was very centrally located within the city but without the noise and traffic, in a very beautiful area of Townsville. The pool was substantial with a water feature. Plenty of parking. The management were amazing and were only to happy to accommodate our needs. And it was a fantastic price for our two night stay.

The staff was amazing, the room we got put in was perfect for our little family and the staff where absolutely helpful would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay there! My kids loved the pool and the area. We hope to stay there in the near future.

We had to leave and couldn't stay longer

We arrived late in the evening, check in was very smooth. Our room was clean and comfortable. Location was handy just a few minutes walk to shops and the waterfront. We checked out early the following morning to catch the ferry to Magnetic Island. For a simple overnight stay this hotel served our needs very nicely.

Very helpful staff. Found my lost property and got it back to me in no time. Very much recommended for service.

Could not for the life of me find the TV remote. There was a downlight out above the bed and the exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. These things did not make the stay bad, just letting the owner know. Cheers
