Location was fantastic for visiting South Melbourne markets. Plenty of street parking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room look like it’s been newly renovated. Lots of things were included to make the stay more comfortable. Rooftop views of the city were great. Thank you for the complimentary drinks!

The doors are heavy and are very loud when allowed to slam shut. In the early AMs (1-3am) there was lots of doors opening and slamming shut (kind of expected since it’s above a pub so probably got some late night customers checking in) but was woken up a few times (perhaps walls could be more soundproofed?)

Great blend of modern comfort and classic charm. Room amenities and toiletries were great. Restaurant looked nice however, we didn’t eat there. The hotel's location is convenient, being a short tram ride from Melbourne's CBD, with attractions like the South Melbourne Market and Albert Park nearby.

We arrived about an hour before the hotel opened which made things tricky luggage wise as we were wanting to store it before we were able to check in. We didn’t anticipate this and would definitely recommend arranging this in advance with the hotel if in need of storing luggage before check in.

Perfect position for us as we did Albert Melbourne Parkrun and a yes a 5/10min walk to the start. We liked the area with easy access on tram 12 to the city. We met Fay first the very lovely and helpful lady who was cleaning early morning. We found the staff in the bar really friendly too. Loved the big bed and great wet room. It was quiet too. Tea and coffee facilities and an optional minibar were lovely extras.

I’d say a couple of things could be improved. I emailed a couple of times to ask, as we would be arranging early, would we be okay to leave our bags until the room was ready. No reply! Although when we arrived we did manage to drop them off. Reception staff could have been a bit more hospitable and friendly, maybe an off day

Friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant and bar, great location on south side of Melbourne, walkable to Albert Park and easy to take a tram into the city or the cool St Kilda. If you like walking, the city, botanical gardens, museums and St Kilda can be reached on foot if you plan long walks.

There was no breakfast other than some individual cereal packets and one-person milk cartons in the room mini-bar. The details for this hotel had shown that breakfast was available - but this was not the case. We were advised to go to the cafe up the road, which offered good breakfasts.

The public transport was good and easy to get to

We didn't have good TV channels to pick from when we wanted to relax...terrestrial TV channels are very out dated. To us, a selection of of channels, movies and series to pick from helps with down time, so we don't resort to social media as you can't relax. That's my only gripe I have with my stay. Foxtel or some other box installed so one can get other channels, movies, series etc. would have been great.

The location is perfect for exploring South Melbourne with easy access to the South Melbourne market, Albert Park and an easy tram ride into the city. The area is fairly quiet and in addition to the south Melbourne markets we found a local wine shop with a great selection of boutique wines.. overnight on street parking was no problem

There was nothing to dislike about the property. That being said the pub downstairs and rooftop bar were closed over the Christmas period while we were there so not sure how much noise if that would generate.

Lovely bouquet hotel. Beautiful designed rooms very comfortable close to the city before far enough out that it wasn’t noisy outside with a lot of lovely restaurants and bars and walking distance. Our favourite part was the coppersmiths bar downstairs itself, beautiful food and probably one of the best pints of Guinness we’ve had outside Ireland ( We are an Irish couple).

Honestly nothing. Would stay here again.

The room was modern, clean, and nicely laid out. The location was very convenient. Despite the rooftop bar not being open, it was still accessible and views were nice. The only staff member we met was the cleaning staff who went above and beyond to accomodate any requests we had.

We were not aware the restaurant and rooftop bar would not be open to the public during our stay, however, given the short period of time we were there this didn’t matter.

Such a stunning boutique little hotel. The staff were so kind and accommodating, we really felt welcomed and looked after. I recommend staying for dinner, the steak was incredible. Great location - short walk to south Melbourne Market. Would definitely return!

Not quite enough pillows - but I'm sure we could have asked for more.

Easy check in Comfortable , clean, modern room. Minibar with snacks and drinks to purchase . Large screen tv connects to internet easily Central and easy access to Tran and city and other parts of south Melbourne and south bank

The main doors and outside room doors seemed to make a lot of noise all the time . I though the rooms were a little small but still no big deal !
