We had booked a one bedroom apartment but were lucky enough to be upgraded to a two bedroom unit, which had two bathrooms (one of which we didn't use) and slightly more living space. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable, with extra blankets available. Reverse cycle A/C in the living room was plenty to keep us warm. We also had a parking space, at an additional $25/night. Two minimarts are 2 minutes walk away, with a full Woolworths about 20 minutes walk. One of the main reasons we like to come here is the location, just off St Kilda Road near the Shrine of Remembrance. This is quieter than being in either the city or Southbank itself, but is only a 20 minute walk to Flinders St Station. A tram stop is 5 minutes from the door, and we enjoyed strolling in the Domain and walking over to the Botanic Garden.

The apartment is just beginning to show its age in some ways. Some of the kitchen floor tiles are stained or cracked, and the curtain runners are worn out, making drawing the curtains a struggle. The carpet shows some patchy staining in the high traffic areas. Probably about time for a refurb!

Hotel was in the perfect location as we wanted to be close to The Shrine. There are multiple trams a short walk from the front door but also it's quite an easy walk to Flinders Street . Multiple cafes and small supermarkets nearby which was handy. Our balcony was a good size and we even had a view of the MCG. Affordable car parking option. Apartment size was very good.

A dining table in the room would have been better instead of the desk. The room did have quite a musty smell but luckily the apartment has windows that you could open.

The apartment was roomy without being spacious, had a separate bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with dw. Bathroom was adequate, with shower over bath (prefer separate shower), and had washing machine and clothes dryer. Quiet at night, but only 15 minute walk from Southbank and Flinders St Station. Two minutes from trams on St Kilda Road. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean, and serviced daily (except Sunday). Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower temperature fluctuated a bit! I can't think of anything else!

We've stayed in many Quest apartments and they rarely disappoint. Quest on Dorcas is a favourite as it's in a lovely quiet location and yet just two minutes to St Kilda Road with trams constantly going into the CBD. It's a few minutes' walk down to the Arts precinct, and a beautiful park just across the road. The apartment we had was clean and tidy with good sized bathrooms and kitchen. While we didn't cook there, the kitchen has an oven, hotplates, microwave and dishwasher. Staff were friendly and helpful with an easy check-in. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to dislike, perhaps the two grey lounge chairs could do with a clean as they were quite stained and grubby. The 2 seater lounge was fine though. I find unexplained stains on upholstery quite off putting, although others may not notice. Leather, or a composite is always a better option.

The location and check in was fantastic, Being able to check in early was very much appreciated as well as being upgraded for free. The location to where we were going was very convenient. and there was a nice view out the window of the MCG.

The curtain in our room didnt work and the shower was really difficult to find a good temperature. It would have been better to have a standard shower than a over bath shower as the bath was really small anyway. It also would have been nice to have a king bed but probably wouldnt have fit in the room.

We enjoy apartment style stays for the flexibility of having our own kitchen facilities and Quest was well fitted out with good inclusions. The room was large and comfortable. The location was convenient to the Botantic Gardens. There was a small supermarket close by which was very convenient.

We would have appreciated a bit more notice on reduced front desk hours on Anzac Day , but the after hours number worked.

Friendliness and helpless of front of house, Zoe on arrival especially. Angela too was very helpful and both professional. The cleanliness was impressive, given it's a more established building it was still modern in culinary facilties and comfort.

The bath/shower absolutely needs a proper slip mat, its slip/fall potential, and unfortunately, i have a massive bruise to prove it.

Friendly and helpful staff; great location; close to Arts District; Shrine of Remembrance and Botanical Gardens. Small supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance; and a tram stop just around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was great for preparing our own food to save a couple of dollars.

We enjoyed the superb location of our accommodation for the access it gave on foot to the beautiful Melbourne Parks precinct. And the staff at check-in were lovely. While slightly dated, the apartment offered extremely clean and comfortable bedding and bathroom facilities in a quiet setting - which is what matters most, and for this the cost was so very reasonable.

Just a little visual tweaking of the courtyard would improve the aesthetics of the apartment, as it was a generous area to provide additional to our room, yet it was rather bland.

The room was a great size. Only there one night but definitely perfect for a longer stay as it has a full kitchen and lounge area. We were on the 3rd floor and there was very little street noise to be heard. It's a great position - you can walk to Flinders Street in 15 minutes or catch a tram on st Kilda rd. Close enough to south Melbourne to stroll there in 15 - 20 minutes as well. We were also able to leave our car in the carpark for a few more hours after we checked out at no additional charge.

This is not specific to this hotel ...it's all hotels...I just wish they would offer some thin pillows. I know most people love a big fat pillow but please at least one thin pillow would be great
