We loved the location. Very short walk to the arts precinct and only one street away from the casino / Southbank area . The apartment was a very good size. Secure entry and exit which we appreciated. Lovely full size products in the bathroom and the shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. The hotel was happy to keep our bags in storage for the day after we checked out.

The carpet in the apartment appeared a little stained and seemed like it needed a steam clean. The couch and coffee table in the one bedroom apartment were so tiny they definitely could have been bigger to accommodate for a couple to sit and lounge comfortably. We had problems with our heater malfunctioning which resulted in one night of our stay having no heat in the room in Melbourne's winter. The following night the hotel did offer to change us to another room which was a good solution.

The location was great, short walk to the Melbourne Convention Center. The bed was so comfortable for me, loved it. The staff was so helpful and very friendly. Traveling on my own I felt safe in my suit. The car lift to the car park was a different experience for me but easy enough to use. Will definitely stay again.

Maybe a better explanation on how to access car parking before arrival. Not being a well traveled person, I had no idea how the car lift to the car park worked. Once at reception it was explained and it was easy to use. But this is so minor.

Excellent location supported by friendly and helpful staff. We arrived very early and instead of having our bags stored, our room was ready within 15 minutes. Bed very comfortable and kitchen and bathroom facilities clean and functional. Overall a great stay and will stay again!

Nothing - everything met and exceeded our expectations. There was a little hiccup with the room key not working yet a team member from the front desk was more than happy to assist, travelling to our floor to check and make sure we had access.

The one bedroom apartment was very comfortable, although quite small. The living area and kitchen were a good size, and the plates, cutlery etc were good quality and generous. It was very quiet (with the windows closed) and the bed was very comfortable. There is a good (although small) supermarket close by, and it was only a short walk to St.Kilda Rd and the NGV, or over the Yarra by footbridge to Flinders St station.

It was just as well we didn't need to cook. There was only saucepan, and it was very large, and a very small frypan. There was one big knife, which would have been awkward for cutting up vegetables or bread. We used public transport, as parking would have been expensive.

This was our second visit to the Hotel, both for Concerts. Both times we were very pleased, very close to City, River and Flinders St Train Station. We walked into the City just about every day for Shops, Trains & the Trams. We were on the 30th Floor, the room was clean, spacious, good views and had Washer/Drier, D/W, Oven & Hob, big double bed but Settee was not very comfy. Will stay again.

A change of Sofa, make sure Kitchen sink plug fits & easier instructions to get TV to work, re Foxtel.

- modern apartment with nice furnishings & well equipped - apartment was very clean - included dishwasher, washing machine & dryer - nice views over the city - beds were comfortable, good block out curtains, water pressure was great in shower - food from room service was delicious & delivered promptly - great location being within walking distance to Southbank eateries & to the city

- lifts were slow at times - car lift was somewhat awkward to use & difficult to maneuver vehicle reversing if other cars weren’t parked correctly - wasn’t aware that parking was an extra cost (so $45 more per night)

Location, location, location!!!! That was really outstanding, esp for our needs, which was to visit the Pharaoh exhibition and was only a 9 min walk away. It was also 1 street back from the Yarra River on the Southbank side with a short 10 min walk crossing the Yarra River to Flinders St station, Coles and other shopping facilities which was directly opposite from buildingand couldsee from the balcony. Was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were excellent and friendly on arrival and especially when we needed to set up the wifi on 3 devices plus also advised places to see and what to do at same time. The city view apartment overlooked the Yarra and across to Flinders Street which was great during day and night. Breakfast and dinner room service had lots to choose from on menu.

It was tiny for 2 adults and 1 child so trying to put 4 people in this apartment would be extremely challenging, although saying that most people travelling only use the accommodation to sleep in. There were no cooking items for the stove or oven so needed to clean oven after cooking frozen pizza. Ensuite was tiny and no room to dry oneself after shower. Also no room for suitcases. Wifi was challenging and needed staff to connect devices. Pancakes arrived cold so needed to reheat in microwave. Dinner room service had 1 of us running back and forth to loo all night.

Location was perfect to walk to Hamer Hall and Southbank area. we had a room on top floor which had a fantastic view of South and East Melbourne. It had a very comfortable bed.

Wi-Fi wasn't very good, it was a few hours after checking in that we could access it. Tried to call reception on the room phone, it didn't work, then called a 1300 number that was coming up on the wi-fi login page every time it wouldn't connect, this put me through to a call centre who didn't know what city I was calling from, she was able to give me a password to log onto the wi-fi, but it would only work for one device. Bedroom was very small, only just enough room to squeeze down on one side.

We have stayed at the Oaks before when last visiting Melbourne, and weren't disappointed. It is a lovely apartment block, just off Southbank, so ideally situated for the city, river, trams. The staff were super helpful, and very nice!

The 2 bed apartment was a little on the small side for 3 ladies, 2 of which travelling from the UK, so our suitcases had to stay in the lounge area. That being said, I also stayed in a 2-bed with my husband a few years ago and so used the second bedroom as a dressing room! Both bathrooms are really small though, and could do with some extra shelving for products. Again, 2 females sharing a small bathroom.....

Having own space. First room didn’t have air con however reception staff quick to remedy situation and give us another room. This was second occasion we used this accommodation on this trip. Luggage storage was good too. Central location with easy access to the southbank and flinders street station.

Everything was good. Did try to book accommodation here for whole trip but some dates were unavailable and had to split accomodation
