Had a lovely 2 week stay main reason for visit from the UK was for attendance to Albert Park for the Formula One, great location for being able to walk to the track if you are prepared to do that like me, or also a good location if you wish to take advantage of the free trams for race weekend like my parents. Great location for heading into the city too. Room was well equipped. Cleaning was of a good standard. Only thing lacking was any cleaning on the balcony throughout the whole stay. Oven/grill a little confusing might be good to have a hand book for overseas guests. Washing machine was a god send and easy to use. Bath and shower worked well, some towels were extra fluffy and a delight to use. Best receptionist I have come across is Dominic (I worked overseas for 11 years as a tour rep and have met many receptionist through repping in the hotels) Dominic was not intrusive, but we knew he was available if we needed anything, he assisted with seeking medical advice and making a Dr appointment, he arranged our taxi to the airport, Dominic’s service was faultless, polite, professional, yet caring and kind at all times. Thank you Dominic. I do however wish Melbourne hotels/ accommodations would stop charging so high when events are on I get this now considered normal but the hike during F1 weekend is becoming excessive.

The location. We came to Melbourne for the Australian Open. Quest Southbank was ideally located just a short 20 minute walk from the venue. Quest Southbank is also ideally located to walk to the shops and dining along the Yarra river. We took an Uber was to get to Queen Victoria Market but then we explored the CBD and walked back. Also took an Uber to/from the Zoo.

It was confusing that Quest Southbank was asking whether we wanted breakfast everyday. They don't have on site meals but there is a restaurant next door with excellent breakfasts. There is also a coffee shop in the other direction which serves breakfast items.

Location us 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, staff and size of apartment 10/10. There was a great coffee shop directly underneath. There's an IGA 2 min walk away and has everything you need to use in your self containedapartment. It's a five minute walk to NGV, Southbank and eateries etc. Botanical gardens are close by too. Trams are walking distance away. Lifts are reliable. Very quiet location for sleeping and escaping the businesses of the city, a really positive experience overall.

The bed was a little firm and small, shower was a step over bath but the screen was leaking a little onto the floor. Minor things but could be rectified. Also, no TV in bedroom (some will want that)

Easy to get to, so close to everything. The rooms were big enough for our family of 5 and we ordered 2x cots and they put cute little quest teddies in for my twins. Just nice little touches that made our stay so comfortable. The room was nice for the 3 girls under 3, not to many hazards. We chose to stay here as I was doing the Melbourne marathon and it was a nice easy walk to get to start line.

The only thing was trying to get the pram in from the car park, but worst case if you couldn’t lift it up the two stairs you could walk around to the front entrance from the car park anyways.

The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. We were upgraded to a twin room upon arrival, which was a fantastic surprise. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, and sheets were crisp and clean.

Unfortunately, on our first morning on a Saturday, we were woken up early 7:00-7:30am to the sound of construction workers breaking concrete right outside our bedroom balconies. It continued until late lunch. We could not escape the sound even after leaving the hotel. Thankfully, Sunday was much more peaceful with a swift Monday checkout once the racket returned. We understand that such things are not in the control of Quest and still very much looking forward to our next visit.

Great location in the heart of Southbank. Just a short walk to the riverfront and it's multitude of restaurants and bars. The staff were very professional and friendly. Check in process was quick and easy. The beds were on the firmer side, which I found very comfortable! We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Parking is available in the building for a reasonable price. There is a cafe downstairs if you don't want to venture far for breakfast.

We did have a fault with our toilet, but the concierge fixed this promptly.

Staff at front desk were so accommodating nothing was any trouble. The location was perfect for proximity to our meetings.

I called prior to our stay to say that our flight landed at 5.20 am and if we came directly from airport could we leave our bags before check in, we were advised yes but when we arrived concierge was closed and we couldn't access until 7 am. It would have been good if we had known this as we could have gone somewhere for 1.5 hours straight from airport rather than wasting money on an Uber to Quest only to leave again looking for an open cafe to sit and wait . However the concierge was so accommodating when we came back she was lovely to us.

Location (not too bus but just right and close to everything important) A suite like structure (with balcony) helps us feel like home. Presence of washing machine and dryer helps long term stays.

Washing machine was old and faulty. Service manager looked at it and explained how best to use it. Yet it did not work. This was my BIGGEST complaint. When you charge a hefty price for room, your equipment’s must be up to date; not obsolete .

Rooms were so spacious and the beds were super comfy. The showers had great water pressure. We were a 5 min walk to Southbank so the location was very central. The staff were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Loved the morning view of hot air balloons floating past. Looking forward to staying here again.

There was a massive full length mirror outside at the lifts, so would have been nice to have one in the room. I also did not like the swinging glass shower door over the bath.

Fab location. Chosen for the proximity to the Taylor Swift concert at the MCG. Kind of pricy because we were barely there. Prob should have just got a hotel room. Didn’t need kitchen and laundry facilities. It was very quiet - the quietest room I have ever had in Melbourne. Great restaurant below. Really close to crown casino and restaurants. Easy walk to flinders and shopping. Or to arts precinct and then down to the tram to st Kilda if you want the beach or shopping at Chapel st. Rollaway bed provided at $50 extra a night. It was set up and comfy. So $370 a night for a mum and 2 daughters.

Given a room. Wrong room and key. It was super busy at check in and the reception team were really pleasant and friendly so only a little mistake. Given a room on the first floor so pretty dark and no view. But hey we weren’t there much. They happily store your luggage which is great.
