If there was a toilet brush in the bathroom, I would’ve liked to clean my toilet when necessary.

Great location and value for $$. We stayed at Holiday Inn as location was close to venue as we were staying in the city for a concert (10 min Uber from Sidney Myer Music Bowl) It was a little tricky to find - as we came from the other direction via car - ther is a driveway next to Bloch (dancewear store) that you have to turn into. If you come from the other direction there is no visable sign for Holiday Inn - so if you're driving in, pop in your maps *Bloch Southbank* and you'll see the driveway next to it! -Walking distance to Sidney Myer, and walk across the bridge to Rod Laver and other venues. -7/11 open late across the road for midnight snacks and if you need any other essentials. -A little small on the room size but overall perfect for an O/N stay!! -Buffet breakfast included bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs and other goodies - incredible! They can also cater to allergens (I'm gluten free *not Coeliac*) and successfully checked out tummy grumble free :) Thank you!

Slightly small rooms but nothing to worry about for an O/N stay

Great hotel on the Southbank. Easy to get to and very busy. Rooms are the standard Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was great and plenty of seating. Everything was replenished quickly. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Approachable and professional. Certainly a nice place to stay.

Housekeeping never replaced any teas, coffees or milks so had to always pick them up in the lobby. We came back one day and the bed was simply done by pulling up the duvet but pillows were still the way we had left them. The moisturizer bottle was empty and never replenished. Nothing serious and all fixable.

The location is fantastic. As a former Melbournian, I highly recommend staying in this part of the city - easy accessible, safe, great restaurants and atmosphere nearby. The room was comfy, clean and all we needed for a night away. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at 1am when I needed a toothbrush. Great lobby with bar/cafe (great coffee). Breakfast was delicious - lots of buffet options replenished quickly. Parking was safe and affordable. Blockout blinds worked so well! It was very very busy when we stayed but there was definitely enough tables at breakfast, lifts and parking for it not to feel crowded. We had the top floor, partial river view. Was pretty - even on a dreary Melbourne day.

I’m nitpicking but the pillows were awful (I should have brought my own) and the water pressure in the shower was dismal

The check in was easy. We paid to park our car for three days at the hotel and it was very easy to do. The hotel itself is modern. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, with everything you need for a three day stay. Breakfast was included in the price and was just a normal hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but fine. The location was great, Just a short walk to the restaurants along the South bank. Go over the bridge, through the station underpass and you come out on the junction of Flinders and Elizabeth Streets. The staff were friendly and we plan to make this our go to hotel when we return.

Sorry but the breakfast wasn’t that great . The scrambled eggs seemed like not real or donething . I didn’t like them last time for the same reason . Not sure what they are made of . Also a lot of food trays were empty when we arrived at 830 no bacon for about 5-10 minutes or bread , just a few slices left . I ended up eating youghurt with watermelon only . Other fruit was oranges to juice . Maybe it was timing but both times I’ve stayed that’s happened . Hopefully better next year Shen I stay .

Room was very sound proof and with block out curtains made for a good night sleep. Breakfast was fantastic and hotel is close to dining options, NGV and botanical gardens.

The woman who checked us in could not honour the late check out that was listed as included in our bookings.com information. She kept saying 'this is why I don't like 3rd party bookings, they offer things we don't give'. However after conceding the listing did say late check out was included she eventually gave us an additional hour and some drink vouchers as compensation for not being able to honour it.

The facilities were great, really clean and smelled very nice! We really liked the bar area and balcony space. The manager on duty was considerate of the issues we faced unlike the two members beforehand. The breakfast was really good for it being ‘free’ although the stay is more expensive than most places so thats balanced out. They handled busy period very well we never had to wait. Location was amazing, could walk to everywhere.

The only fault is the mattresses were so so uncomfortable! We had 4 really sleepless nights.

Room was comfortable and clean. I liked the bed and pillows. It was great to have good nightsleep under the conference week. And it was very nice to walk to conference center, to city and to railway station. Very nice logation!

Breakfast included, but for me it was tuo "simppeli. I would like to have some fresh vegetables: cucumber, tomato and salaatti. Or carrots. Now it was absolutely nothing. And also cheese or ham to get on bread would be nice to have. Airconditioning were quite nousi at the night.

The property was spacious and in an excellent location in Melbourne to reach everything we wanted to see. The hotel breakfast was fantastic and on site parking was excellent with no issues finding a space. Beds super comfortable and had a good sleep. I noticed cabin crew also stay here which shows that sleep is peaceful!! We have completed two stays with one more to go, both times the staff were helpful and friendly, even storing luggage while we drove the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommend.
