The breakfast was fantastic! Staff were very friendly, fantastic location!

If there was a toilet brush in the bathroom, I would’ve liked to clean my toilet when necessary.

Lovely welcoming vibe as you enter the reception area. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was clean, shower was AMAZING! Bed comfortable and warm. Fantastic location with an easy stroll to the arts precinct, Southbank, Yarra River and Botanical Gardens.

We had a bit of a scare with one of the lifts. While travelling down from the 19th floor the elevator came to an abrupt stop and then there was silence. Lift started back up again but was making weird sounds. We did report it to reception who explained that a couple of the lifts did it and they were waiting on someone to come out and look at them but we were assured of our safety. We avoided that bank of lifts for the remainder of the weekend. Breakfast was ok - nothing to write home about (although the scrambled eggs were creamy and very tasty *chefs kiss* and the coffee machines were pretty average.

The location was excellent, so close to the Art Centre and just a short walk into CBD or to hop on a tram. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and very comfy. Breakfast had quite a bit of variety and nice that it was included. We had our car, so the room rate with the parking included for an extra $1 a day was a great bonus and we were able to leave it there until 2pm the day of check out. Would stay there again.

Myself, a staff member and about 5 other guests had a weird experience with one of the lifts on the Sunday, when it made a loud noise and dropped a little bit, then a few seconds later did it again. Once it did finally come to a floor and open, we all couldn't get out of that lift quick enough. The staff member said that she would report it to management. We then all waited for a different lift and I made sure I didn't go in that one when vacating the room. I'm sure this thing doesn't happen very often but it freaked me out a bit. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Great location and value for $$. We stayed at Holiday Inn as location was close to venue as we were staying in the city for a concert (10 min Uber from Sidney Myer Music Bowl) It was a little tricky to find - as we came from the other direction via car - ther is a driveway next to Bloch (dancewear store) that you have to turn into. If you come from the other direction there is no visable sign for Holiday Inn - so if you're driving in, pop in your maps *Bloch Southbank* and you'll see the driveway next to it! -Walking distance to Sidney Myer, and walk across the bridge to Rod Laver and other venues. -7/11 open late across the road for midnight snacks and if you need any other essentials. -A little small on the room size but overall perfect for an O/N stay!! -Buffet breakfast included bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs and other goodies - incredible! They can also cater to allergens (I'm gluten free *not Coeliac*) and successfully checked out tummy grumble free :) Thank you!

Slightly small rooms but nothing to worry about for an O/N stay

The breakfast was generous and catered for all eating requirements such as vegetarian and vegan. The atmosphere in the dining area was friendly and happy. Our room was very clean and the lighting was easy to operate. The blind made the room dark for good sleeping. The hotel is close to the city centre, transport and the arts centre. Southbank has some excellent dining choices. There was a large space in the reception area with good quality wooden blocks and games for children of all ages.

The bed was quite firm but okay. The room and corridors are grey and could do with some artwork. We could hear the low sound of air conditioning as we had an external wall.

The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to Flinders Street. The room was functional, and the two rooms we booked were arranged next to each other. We stayed for five nights, and the rooms were cleaned properly every day. Considering the location, I felt the cost performance was very high. I found it reasonably priced, especially for Japanese travelers wanting to keep costs down with the weaker yen.

The breakfast was delicious, but it would have been even better with one or two more vegetable options.

Great hotel on the Southbank. Easy to get to and very busy. Rooms are the standard Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was great and plenty of seating. Everything was replenished quickly. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Approachable and professional. Certainly a nice place to stay.

Housekeeping never replaced any teas, coffees or milks so had to always pick them up in the lobby. We came back one day and the bed was simply done by pulling up the duvet but pillows were still the way we had left them. The moisturizer bottle was empty and never replenished. Nothing serious and all fixable.

The location was fantastic, and the breakfast was awesome value for money. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Level 7 has a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space and comfortable seating. The slightly dim lighting if VERY appreciated.

The dinner meal we paid for on one of the nights was a bit smaller than anticipated for the price, but otherwise everything else was great.

The location is fantastic. As a former Melbournian, I highly recommend staying in this part of the city - easy accessible, safe, great restaurants and atmosphere nearby. The room was comfy, clean and all we needed for a night away. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at 1am when I needed a toothbrush. Great lobby with bar/cafe (great coffee). Breakfast was delicious - lots of buffet options replenished quickly. Parking was safe and affordable. Blockout blinds worked so well! It was very very busy when we stayed but there was definitely enough tables at breakfast, lifts and parking for it not to feel crowded. We had the top floor, partial river view. Was pretty - even on a dreary Melbourne day.

I’m nitpicking but the pillows were awful (I should have brought my own) and the water pressure in the shower was dismal

The check in was easy. We paid to park our car for three days at the hotel and it was very easy to do. The hotel itself is modern. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, with everything you need for a three day stay. Breakfast was included in the price and was just a normal hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but fine. The location was great, Just a short walk to the restaurants along the South bank. Go over the bridge, through the station underpass and you come out on the junction of Flinders and Elizabeth Streets. The staff were friendly and we plan to make this our go to hotel when we return.
