I had a very positive experience during my stay. The reception staff were incredibly attentive. I arrived earlier than the official check-in time, and they kindly allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I explored the area. They also provided great tips about where to live and helpful local advice, which was really appreciated.

One thing that caught my attention, however, was that the reception and the main door close at 7 PM, which was a bit inconvenient. I noticed that the cleanliness of the room could be improved. There were cobwebs in the room, which was a bit off-putting.

When I arrived the desk was unattended but a note attached to call them. I did so and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile who went through the check in very smoothly and accommodated my needs as best as they could. Undercover parking was a huge bonus as we had driven four hours and needed parking close to unpack our family of five.

As I booked the accommodation very late and it was New Years Eve I didn't like that my family group had to be split up but I totally understand why.

I like the room very spacious and clean. I chose City Park Hotel because it was just 8 minutes walk from the RANZCOG. The price of the room is much cheaper compared to other hotels. The staff were very nice to me as well.

It was just the air-con of my room didn't work in the first day, but the reception guy provided me an electric fan. On the second day the reception guy called for an electrician and my air-con was fixed then.

Great rooms and lovely staff who made our stay way more comforting. Would 100% recommend this place if you’re visiting Melbourne and need a place just out of the CBD, the nearby ANZAC Tram Station make travelling around Melbourne accessible and tourist-friendly.

I’m not saying the property wasnt clean and have noticed this with other properties. But surely once a month the skirting boards would be wiped inside of drawers and A quick vacuum under the seat cushions on sofa

The facilities were sparkling clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for the stay .There was a nicely folded extra blanket in the cupboard with an extra pillow .Complementary newspapers for guests at reception .Windows had double glazing which worked a treat blocking out traffic .The hosts are welcoming and nice to converse with .There’s a Woolworths Metro near by .Great pizza and pasta across the road . I enjoyed walking around looking at the heritage buildings and houses of South Melbourne intermingled with some newer architecture.Had fun watching the local dogs playing in a designated dog park close by .10 mins walk away is the Main Street full of interesting shops and pubs .No.12 Tram to St .Kilda or into the city .

Perfect location for where I needed to be. Parking facilities are great and easy to find/access. The staff are welcoming and nice to deal with and also give clear instructions. Happy to recommend local places to eat.

Nothing, the property is exactly as advertised and I enjoyed my stay

The hotel has an excellent location, if you can walk and are not tired, everything you need is at most 3km away, SkyDeck, Albert Park and Municipal Market. Within 1km you will find markets such as Coles, Aldi and Woos.

Prakash at the reception was so helpful and was so humble and I really like the service. I stayed only for one day but for me everything was good. After you checkout.. you can keep your luggage at the reception.

I really liked the (spa) room and enjoyed that part of it…! The bed was comfortable and room nice and cool…

There is not much to like…I’m not sure about the location to walk to places, but I didn’t need to… The Manager was very nice and delivered a wine glass to me while I was out at the soccer…!
