Room was as advertised with simple amenities like a kettle, complementary tea, ironing board. A small kitchenette in the common areas. Larger kitchen area seems to only be available during staffed reception hours. A quaint location for an inn which isn't too far from the CBD and is pretty close to the South Melbourne Markets. Air conditioning is available. Showers were quite nice. Lift being available for going up and down with heavy luggage was very helpful.

Bed was comfy but I did end up waking up a few times in the nights. Not sure why.

Loved the studio option... really good and lovely space. Super comfy bed. Well equipped. Balcony was really good for viewing the skyline. Really peaceful area and place to stay. 30-40 minute walk to city centre. 20 minutes to Botanical Gardens. 5 minutes to Albert Park. Really lovely, helpful, friendly owners... helped to make stay perfect in any way they could. Lovely communications prior to staying. Would highly recommend a stay. Loved our time here.

We spent 10 days there mainly because of AO 2024. It was good enough to lay down your head for the night. It is really close to CBD. Beds were comfy enough. We had been provided with towels. There was only one staff during our stay but he made our room if we requested to. Absolutely loved the bathroom. It is equipped with every basic needs. Room had small fridge. Also a water heater with cups, tea and coffee. All in all we loved our stay there, although we left 22nd Jan we still haven't got back our 100 AUD deposit for the room. We even left some gift for the lovely stuff but there are no refunds just yet.

Room is not really spacious but we did not really care. We were only there to sleep. Maybe one thing that was getting annoying during our 10 days stay was the hallway door. They need to install some "anti-collision" system on the doors because once it closes it shakes the walls. At the end of stay there were some strange people went we left the building it was kinda crazy. Not sure how they got into the building they seemed homeless but they have claimed to left their keys inside their rooms.

Decent location. Quiet neighborhood. Rooms clean.

They offer a free breakfast if you promise you leave a good review. Seems like bribery and makes me wonder if they actually deserve the good reviews. Seems somehow wrong. It’s more of a rooming house than a proper hotel. Front desk not staffed much but available by phone. Rooms tidied every second day.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There is a fridge in the kitchenette and room. In addition,there is a laundry service one can use. It would have been good if we had had permanent access to the kitchen. It could only be used when the reception was occupied,which was mostly not the case. It is a calm area in the South of Melbourne. However,be prepared to get a card for the public transport.

Our room was on the top floor, had beautiful trees right outside the windows and a view of the city in the background. It's only a short walk to the tram which will take you into the city or connect you wherever you need to go. Plenty of food locations and things to see within walking distance. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and I really loved the aesthetics of the room. The aircon and mini fridge were big bonuses for us. I also appreciated that we were able to enter and exit without having to walk through big lobbies like you would at a hotel, it was very comfortable and I would definitely choose to stay here over a hotel again.

You can hear a little bit of noise through the walls but the other guests were very respectful during our stay so it wasn't an issue for us and we didn't receive any complaints the one night we played some music before going out. I'd just suggest to be aware of your noise level so you aren't disturbing your neighbours.

Attractive room with city and tree views. Very clean and comfotable. I had a sunday to wednes upgrade so very good value for money. Patient staff

It would be helpful to have detergent, dish cloths and a rubbish bin in the first floor kitchenette. Then we could wash and dry the dishes you provided. Especially as the lovely full kitchen downstairs is only open during reception hours.

Had a lovely long weekend here. Very easy to reach by tram, easy access to CBD and Albert Park where we did the Parkrun on Saturday morning. Staff very friendly and accommodating ! we were offered free continental breakfast on Saturday/Sunday which was a nice surprise. Quiet and nice neighborhood, felt safe in the evening. Our room had everything we needed, good shower and comfy bed. Have recommended to friends as good value option.

The hotel wasn't too far from the distance from the main city and it was quite close to everything. Our room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable!!! When we arrived, the owner upgraded our room for free to the studio apartment. The balcony was spacious and big, and the city lights were quite pretty at night.

The only problem with the room was the air-conditioning wast quite working. But it was fine since the windows were opened and the Melbourne breeze was good.

A clean, and well designed space for a short stay. Very helpful owner - do their best to make your stay comfortable. Bedding was clean and bathroom was exceptional.

Not so much about the property, the street it was on didn’t have lights. So think the responsible person in government should do something about that.
