Lovely room, well appointed and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding quite luxurious! The roof top pool and viewing deck is spectacular. Perfect place to watch the sun set! A small nook available for work was welcomed so we didn't have paperwork, laptop and chargers strewn across the dining table. Daily room tidy was welcomed as was the replenishment of the coffee and toiletries each day. Staff were responsive and accommodating with a last minute change of plans - we were very grateful to them. Nice cafe downstairs, not open for dinner though.

The parking was really tight and not always available as it works on a 'first come first served' basis. It wasn't a problem - there is public parking just behind. Something to be mindful of if you're driving a larger rental car though! The noise from Queens Road is quite loud if you're not used to 'city living'. We had the bedroom away from the road and once the door was closed, it was very noise proof. The view from our room more than made up for the noise - however, it's something to be mindful of if you are a very light sleeper or don't like road noise.

Customer service was excellent. A few staff members went above and beyond to assist us as we had our little one travelling with us. From allowing us to check in a bit earlier to sorting out the quieter room and everything else. I just can't thank them enough. Will be back :)

They didn't have a microwave in the room, so it was a bit challenging when it came to heating food up for my little one. Before booking the stay, we were notified that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance. We would love to return just for the swimming pool next time. As I saw the photos, the views looked amazing.

the layout of the apartment was clever and clean. the facilities in the apartment were unexpected and well thought out. The selection of tea and coffee available was great.

great room, the only thing i found annoying was, was on the welcome card it had, dining: onsite restaurant, but it was closed and there was no other info where we could get food or how to order uber eats to the apartment. would have been useful and saved us from wandering he local streets looking for somewhere to get something to eat. might be a good idea to include some info to assist visitors. I couldn't find a microwave anywhere, that is unusual.

We stayed at Tyrian for several nights during our 4 week visit to Australia. We tried a couple of other properties in Melbourne whilst we were there, and Tyrian was by far the best. Great room - comfortable and clean with excellent facilities (eg washing machine, coffee machine). The staff were always friendly and helpful. We used the pool and sauna on the roof a couple of times. For us, Tyrian was also in an excellent location - close to Albert Park and close to a tram stop. We also loved to visit Mr Percival's cafe on the ground floor for breakfast. Tyrian is highly recommended.

We loved the size and space of the rooms. The location was perfect - close to trams and central to most things we wanted to visit. The beds were super comfy however 4 x standard pillows would have been better than 3 provided as my husband and I both sleep using 2 x pillows each (euro pillows look nice but not great to sleep on!) The gym pool and spa were fabulous, as were the views from the rooftop area. No mini bar unfortunately or room service and no bottle shops close by so stock up before you arrive if you want snacks or an arvo bevy in your room before heading out! The Cafe downstairs was great, awesome coffee and the breakfast was delish! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Pillows (not enough and too soft/ flat) no mini bar. Biscuits not replenished each day... it's the little thiings...

We were not informed in advance about roof top pool under maintenance on 11 th. Inspite of our request they did not allow late checkout until 12/1. We requested to make it until 5 as out flight got delayed. I can understand if guest was suppose to check in but to my shock he said if you pay 280$ you can stay until 5 pm. One our stay cost us under 200 $ per night . Every where charges are half the cost of your stay with you it was literally more . This spoiled out mood totally inspite of enjoying for 11 nights.

The location is excellent to walk, tram or Uber in to the CBD. The roof top pool views over Albert Park and to the bay are stunning. The staff both pre check in and during our stay were helpful and on hand. The spa facilities were a bonus. We saw outdoor rooftop bbq facilities on mental plate too. The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped. We cooked dinner both nights. The laundry facilities were a bonus with complimentary powder after a month on the road. We recommend booking parking early; spaces are limited. You have an allocated key to lower the barrier during your stay. Our Sat nav didn’t locate the apartment block easily; Ubers use the service road behind to pick up/ drop off. You can exit in your call this way too. Thank you to the team

We didn’t use the balcony which was dark with no sun since it faced another block on the side view. There is no intercom or phone system from the rooftop to reception if you encounter a problem. We reported this to reception staff. During During our stay a large group resided in the building and we saw alcohol and glasses used on the rooftop; the atmosphere was raucous. We think the rules need to be enforced as a courtesy to other guests. We would stay again!

Clean, spacious well-appointed suite just a very short walk to frequent convenient tram service. We had a minor problem in our room which staff attended to appropriately. The cafe attached provided good food and service. The rooftop area provided an attractrive pool, area and views.

A blind fell on one of us when we tried to close it on our first (Saturday) night. A helpful staff member promptly sourced an ice pack and ladder - she was unable to rectify the blind which was however rectified on Monday morning. Due to the density of tall buildings in the area, there was very little sunlight to our suite.

Fantastic apartment in great location. We were travelling with our adult daughter and had a 2 bedroom apartment, both with ensuites. The apartment was very spacious, beds were comfortable, well equipped kitchen (although we did not cook). Reception staff were always very pleasant & helpful, and the pool area at the top of the building was fantastic. There is also a cafe at the front of the building that was connected - not sure where it was part of The Tyrian - however it was very pleasant. Also a really nice Italian place a few steps away that we went to for dinner one night.

The main negative was that our apartment faced St Kilda Road and there did not seem to be any sound-proofing so it seemed as though we had a major highway going right through the place. I found the apartment to be very clean however my daughter's ensuite had hair stuck to the shower glass and a dirty toilet seat. The bathrooms had weird sink/vanities - a sort of sloping bench that the water ran on to, so no sink that you could put a plug in. Also, the apartment are advertised as serviced and we had a card saying the beds would be made as part of this. This seemed to consist of just pulling up the covers - nothing was tucked in and the pillows still had the dent of our heads from the night before!
