This is not just a place to rest your head; it’s a destination in itself—one that calls you back long after you’ve left.

Everything about The Lyall was as advertised. The perfect getaway hotel. It was luxurious, calm, sophisticated and staffed by caring, helpful and knowledgeable people. The decor in the common areas is sumptuous, as are the rooms with the best bathroom design I have experienced in an hotel. Great cafe/bar and delicious home made pastries for breakfast. Thankyou for a delightful, relaxing stay.

The Lyall is superb. Elegant & welcoming. The rooms are next level, comfortable, warm or cool, spacious in warm natural tones. The restaurant is perfect for breakfast and lunch & the staff are friendly and efficient. Location is the best in Melbourne. We will always stay at The Lyall. Thank you Sandy & James

We stayed at the old Lyall many times when working in Melbourne. It is a great location. The renovations we liked , the room was very comfortable.

My husband was very upset to find he could not access Foxtel on the in room TV. It is very unusual to find a hotel of this class not offering it.

The entire experience was fantastic, from check-in through to check-out. Beautiful rooms, incredibly comfortable with every amenity you could wish for, and very friendly, professional staff. In room dining had a quick turn-around and the food was delicious!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

We loved everything about our stay here! The location was amazing, the room was perfection and every member of staff we came in contact with was friendly, courteous and efficient. This is our new go to - we will return!
