Great location right near the venue we were going to for a show in Prahan and across the road from Prahan market. Comfortable beds, clean and there is a little kitchen in the room which was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful, parking was full but we were able to park on the street as it was after hours. Trendy little motel with a nice vibe, and we did run into a celebrity in the lobby!

The toilet and shower are behind frosted glass only. The design lacks privacy. I know it’s popular in hotels these days but you can definitely see through the frosted glass and I found this uncomfortable.

Great location if you’re looking for a Prahran/ South Yarra hotel. Easy access to the area shopping & dining and across the road from the Prahran market. The art aspect makes the the hotel feel unique and not cookie cutter. The room was spacious and the balcony with city views was great. The guest laundry service ($2) was exceptional value. Overall a good comfortable hotel in a convenient location outside the city centre.

The space is starting to feel a little dated. The in-house restaurant is closed, but not really an issue as there are so many local options at the doorstop. The lobby area seems poorly designed. But these are not major concerns and would still recommend. These shortcomings are reflected in what a very reasonable rate.

This hotel is in a great location, in a busy part of Melbourne yet once in the room there is peace and quiet....except for the sound of roof top aircon and people making noise in the corridors, otherwise soundproof rooms. Balcony was great, with lovely view of parklands and interesting buildings. Pity about the building works overlooking and generating noise. Quiet at night until people in room next door settled in to their balcony for constant talking, so unable to enjoy my balcony any more. Prior to that the privacy and enjoyment was great. Mostly v clean and good first impression.

V soft mattress and pillows, initially v comfortable but ended up with back ache. Bathroom is behind frosted glass, in the room, glad not to be sharing the room! Kitchen stocked with v little equipement, which spoilt cooking plans, and fridge v small with fairly useless small freezer, which made food shopping challenging. Unfortunately the Cullen art is also fairly negative and unpleasant, which may have affected my mood. V expensive. Lots of small things about the hotel needed fixing. eg unable to keep blinds raised in room. Corners not cleaned, dirty grout in bathroom. Annoying TV programming.

A great location opposite the wonderful Prahran Market, in close proximity to Chapel Street (shops/dining/nightlife) and transport options. The check-in staff were lovely and understanding of the delicate/unfortunate reason for my stay. We were even upgraded to a very fancy room! I received an email the following day about some lost property that I didn't realise was left and a kind offer to return it to us by post.

A couple of broken amenities in the bathroom (hand soap, body wash, body cream pumps and a shelf), but it did not impact our stay.

Spacious and neat. Great coffee pods for the nespresso. Loved the artwork, very unique. Rooms were well sound insulated between other rooms. So many amazing restaurants and coffee shops nearby, all with an amazing vibe. The Prahran Market is across the road, with loads of fabulously fresh produce. Near to stations and walking distance from Woolworths, Coles, Dan Murphy and much more!

Not a fan of the frosted glass walls for a bathroom. Could see and hear way too much. I felt very exposed infront of the other occupant in the room. (it was a business trip) The road noise was very audible and its on a very busy street.

The shower is fantastic! Water pressure was the best. Comfortable bed, staff were lovely. Check in easy and fast. Room was clean. Shower and hand basin products supplied smell Devine and were a nice touch.

The room had a funny smell when you first walk in. Needs to be aired or cleaning products changed. It wasn’t pleasant and needed to open the balcony doors straight away. Pillows are a bit average, needed a puffier / firmer option. My biggest negative is when someone uses the toilet through the night the light lights up the whole room through the glass!

Staff were very helpful getting a rollaway bed for us. My understanding was that the room was twin single and a queen but we got two queens. The hotel said that sometimes external booking sites don’t have up to date information about room formats. Toom was lovely otherwise.

down side was there was a huge amount of noise out our window until the early hours of the morning. Must be a nightclub area, for this reason I wouldn’t stay there again on a weekend. Parking was offsite-this was not far but somewhat annoying.

The layout of the room, ideal. It was clean and fresh, plenty of power points, fabulously comfortable bed and great linen and pillows.

Friday night noisy Saturday impossible to sleep due to noise from night club on Commercial Rd. People yelling, screaming, cars loudly raving , tyre screeching and door door door loud beating music. Woken a little after midnight, quieter around 4:30.. noise of cars revving was disturbing,

Great location. Views. Decor and v helpful staff. Lydia was amazing and deserved a medal for her courtesy and customer service

The suite I stayed in would benefit from some lamps in the living area to help with overall ambience. When dining in it was a little like eating in a well lit cafeteria - albeit a very nice one with a great view. And maybe some bath salts would be a nice additional touch.

From the time we checked in, we knew we were in for a comfy Stay. The young man at the desk was so very friendly. The room was wonderful. Bed and pillows very soft and comfortable. Everything was very close, train tram, uber , restaurants, wine bars.. Our son lives not 2 mins walk away, so we will most definitely be back. The Cullen will be our go to place to stay every trip to Melbourne from now on. Thankyou to everyone.

The glass around the bathroom. Although it looked good, there wasn't any privacy. The room was a little bit on the dusty side. But these points are only being picky. Didn't affect our stay.
