We were lucky enough to be upgraded from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom family apartment. The apartment was very spacious, clean and quiet. It was on the top (17th) floor, so had a decent view of the city. Staff at reception were lovely to deal with. Location was perfect for us as it was only a 2 minute walk to the train station that had trains to the city every 5-10 mins. The proximity to the city was great, with the train being only 1 stop to the MCG and 2 stops to the city.

The sliding doors to the two main bedrooms didn't quite shut all the way (a 1 or 2 cm gap), so there was a small amount of noise and light from the main room of the apartment that would go through to the bedrooms. This didn't really bother us though as we all went to bed at the same time.

Very convenient location. Good size apartment. Reception well-staffed for a large part of the day. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Reasonably quiet given how close it is to shops, restaurants and transport.

Furnishings and kitchen utensils are a little basic. Fine for a short stay but a little limited for longer. It would have been nice to have drawers for clothes; there was hanging space but no drawers so I partially lived out of my suitcase.

Although we got a taxi from the airport to the apartments, it was less than a 5min walk to South Yarra station which has trains heading into the city very frequently. You also had the option of trams. It was just what we needed during our stay from the B&I Lions 😊

There wasn’t anything not to like about the place and would definitely consider staying there again should we come back to Melbourne.

Check in super easy and parking was great I loved the key to apartment on phone and when leaving didn’t have to go back reception just put key in box on way out of parking lot. Clean place with all the facilities room size is great and having a big tv in main room was awesome being able to smart tv. Really great room to stay at will definitely return.

If I did have to complain which really isn’t much to would only say the mattress is a little hard but was still decent wouldn’t really complain about it just only thing I could say.

The apartment came with everything we needed for our short stay - dishwasher, washer, dryer and detergent for both. Aircon, wifi, TV in both bedrooms and living room. Microwave, oven, stovetop, kettle & coffee maker. Beds comfortable and bathroom spacious. Receptionists & housekeeping were always lovely and very helpful.

The only thing I can fault is the shower drain, it did spill into the bathroom floor whenever someone would shower so we would put a towel blocking the door. Also bedroom attached to living room would get very hot in the morning because there was no airflow when the door was closed to block light.

The location is excellent and front desk staff were very friendly.

The cleaning schedules were not notified to me and due to a postponement of 1 cleaning, I did not get a follow up one. My 1st coffee machine was faulty and when it got replaced, the coffee machine was dirty and for some reasons had screws and washers in the capsule bin.

What I required, Quiet clean efficient and cozy. Ideally located near to South Yarra railway station so extremely convenient when travelling from the airport to southern cross bus station and catching a train. Plenty of near by amenities including supermarkets.

It satisfied my needs. On level ten it had no outlook as such, but that wasnt an issue to me. It might be to others but I asked fo a quiet room and thats it.

Great location and new clean and comfortable property.

We chose this property because it advertised it had parking but when we got there we were advised there was none. We had to find our own (during peak hour) and then walk a significant distance with our luggage to the apartment. Make sure you book the parking in advance.

Another wonderful stay at District South Yarra. The moment you walk in you are treated with great hospitality. The staff, the complementary items, and the room amenities are all outstanding. The location is also so convenient, with tram and train only a stone's throw away. Thanks again District South Yarra, we'll be back.

It’s located right in the middle of a happening area with lots of good eating joints and gardens in walking distance. The property is beautiful and the apartments have all required facilities

1) There was constricted water flow from restroom basin leading to the sink remaining dirty all the time. 2) I got a finger cut from closet handle, it had a sharp underside, be careful
