Great location, hotel is in good shape.
Bed unforgettable. Week Turndown service, they left our clothes in chairs and no water was given during our stay. Lack of F&b staff. Sometimes too long to have attention. Also, we missed smiles in restaurants & Bar. Porters were great. Concierge team let us without emails answers for more than 5 days.

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Very well equipped room. Enviable location, with views onto the Stadt Opera. Charming little bar for night caps.
Little things in the room (306). The top drawer in the bedside cabinet didn't open and close easily. The lightbulb in the bedside lamp also seemed to be on its last leg. In the bathroom, the door on the shower cubicle seemed to leak when the rain shower (the one in the ceiling) was used, thus causing a little flood.

Location, interesting interior design, nice rooms looking very premium with tall ceilings. Room size is a bit small but the tall ceilings help feel a bit better. Great staff offers support at every stage - makes you feel really nice.
Mattress was not comfortable: looks old, too soft and losing shape making it quite bad to sleep on. For the price of the room I find this unacceptable. Been in a few different rooms - all the same. Price of breakfast is too high even for this type of property - personal opinion.

The Sacher is a joy. My large, bright, well-appointed room (603) had a superb bed, generous sofa and tables, and a luxurious bathroom; it lacking only a comfortable sitting chair. The gorgeous lobby, opulent dining rooms with matchless food, and intimate Blue Bar provided wonderful social spaces. The hotel's location is ideal. Best of all are the exceptional staff - an attentive, warm, wonderful group of men and women whom I shall not forget. They made the hotel a home.
I experienced only one minor glitch. The Sacher couldn't give me the Jenufa Suite 610, where I had stayed a year earlier, so to accommodate my early arrival it assigned me the Leonard Bernstein Room (314), small, badly designed, and with a cramped bathroom and tiny shower. The Sacher should not have such a room. When I requested an immediate transfer, an impeccably courteous manager took me to 603 instead, and all was well.

A class act, This place goes beyond a hotel, for the price you really do get an experience. It is very historical, you can basically learn about the room you’re staying in most of them have names. Very clean the bathroom was like its own room. staff are awesome, the staff on every level are very friendly and helpful. Really all of them go above and beyond Food at all the restaurants was awesome and the cake(also historical) is addictive Really when you consider how many “5 star” hotels with a price tag have so many things wrong this place is clearly run well and offers everything

Doormen: very cheerful and helpful; location - very central; cafés: very good breakfasts Front Desk apologised for the problems we had had. Birthday present from hotel in form of a Sachertorte.
Reception told us Spa was open 24/7 and it was not; did not point out the button in the room to ask for cleaning. Room service: was like 'Fawlty Towers': took away all our cups and saucers without replacing them; did not replenish teas and when asked in person to do so, still had not done so a day later, so I had to ask again. Spa: very limited - small sauna and steam room; was promised it operated 24/7. but when we arrived there the first evening it was closed. Spa overall not at the standard one would expect from a 5* hotel. Housekeeping line: you get a robot avatar answering your call and he does not understand you. You go to a 5* hotel for personal service; this is not a bank's customer service centre!

Breakfast was very good. They should probably strain the freshly squeezed orange juice. Location could not not be better and staff is the best of old world professionals, courteous, mannerly and helpful
Bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) felt decidedly downmarket/cheap - in terms of packaging and also the quality of the products themselves. The bathroom shower in our room 707 flooded the floor and sides of the tub after any length of time - very slippery and downright dangerous

Lovely historic hotel with excellent staff, perhaps a little old fashioned but that's just personal taste. The only issue was a small one, the only English channels on the TV in our room were CNN, Sky News and BBC News. The TV wasn't a smart tv so we weren't able to login to Netflix, etc. Not that we were there to watch TV, but when relaxing in our room, we would've liked to watch something other than the news.

Just about everthing (see below). Your staff are exceptional in every respect, warm, welcoming, efficient, eager to help your guests, and always with a smile. The public rooms are stunning; the luxury of the red salon and the blue bar are incomparably beautiful. The chocolate-covered Easter egg in the lobby was charming beyond words. Such personal attention to everything! The public rooms were sparklingly clean. The location is of course perfect. The expensive breakfast was worth every penny.
Only two things were lacking, both in the beautiful Jenufa Suite (#$610) - with its spectacular views of the Staatsoper roof and the Albertinaplatz, with the Schneeberg in the distance - that was my home for four glorious nights. They were a bidet in the bathroom and a sitting chair in the bedroom. But I managed well enough without either.
