The hotel offers a charming and cozy stay, with clean, comfortable rooms that make you feel at home. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, and the two lovely ladies managing the property are incredibly helpful and attentive, always going out of their way to assist. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, though the entrance can be a bit tricky to find as it's tucked away after a bar, and you need to ring the bell to access the top-floor reception. The rooms are located one floor below the reception. For a quieter stay, I recommend choosing a room facing the inner garden, as the street-facing rooms can be a bit noisy due to the lively pedestrian area. Note that the reception isn’t open 24/7, so you’ll need to inform them in advance if you’re arriving outside regular hours. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay with a great central location.

We returned to Aviono after a long absence (17 years). We found the same quite spacey, clean rooms as before. The bed has a comfy mattress. Pillows were somewhat too soft from our point of view, plus only one for each guest, but this was no big issue. During warm season it is fairly impossible to sleep with open windows, due to the bustle and noise on Kaerntnerstrasse below, but this is no way the hotel's fault. Rooms have air conditioning units, so this helps a lot.

We were quite disappointed by breakfast. For a 4 star boutique hotel, this was quite poor in options and far from what it had been on our first visit. In our opinion both the quality and quantity of the offered produce leaves room for improvement, especially taking into consideration that a double room was over 200 Euro/night. Coffee quality was not great either. We sincerely hope that hotel management team will take into consideration our observations.

The location is outstanding for anyone wishing to absorb a maximum of the glory of the Habsburg! It is literally within short walking distance of the most important monuments and museums, a wide choice of restaurants and the best known Viennese must see churches, places and streets! The breakfast was generous, healthy and excellent!

We were confronted with a bath smell coming from the shower sink (room 301). Despite efforts, it took 3-4 days to get it more or less eliminated.. not acceptable for the price we paid. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a classic Viennese building. The access from the street and building entrance are not up to standards, run down, the elevator quite small.

The central location and room size were superb.

Some small additions would have been appreciated; full-length mirror and/ or a mirror at the dressing table to get ready at, a telephone to Reception as I needed to ask a couple of things in the night, an extra luggage stool to get the luggage off the floor to help our backs. There is a bar immediately below (our room was on the front side of the hotel), which became loud on the weekend. Was OK for us, but useful for others to know if they need a very quiet room.

Overall, it's a nice boutique hotel in downtown Vienna. The location is fantastic! It's very close to the Vienna Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, the St. Stephen's Cathedral, and many restaurants or stores. Likewise, the room was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive.

The breakfast was good but it could have more variety. Also, the elevator is really small and it takes some time to get up to the top floor where the reception is located. Besides, there is no parking spot in front of the hotel, so you have to walk to the closest street for taxi pick-up.

.we liked the place , it was very central, it is less then 5 min walk from Stephansdom and U2. (you can walk any where in 10-15 min walk (area #1) good air conditioning (it was very hot in the days we where at Vienna) nice crew , crew available till 24:00 , check out time 11:00 ...very nice, personal, small hotel , we will come again

.breakfast was so-so (specially drinks where not good: coffee, orange etc..) . because the hotel is so close to the cathedral, you can hear the bells at 7:00 and it can weak you up .first two rooms (411/412) are little bit laud du to close to the entrance/breakfast room

Once situated in my hotel room I quite pleased with the attention to detail. The room was well thought out and the design was comfortable and at the same time elegant with a very practical bathroom. Check-in was smooth and as I had to leave at the early hours of the morning, I was just able to leave the key at the desk. Transport to the airport was also arranged by the hotel staff although I would recommend getting an Uber or something similar as I was charged 55€ by the taxi service the hotel uses.

The hotel is situated at various levels of a shared building so this is no central common area or seating area on the floors where the rooms are located. Additionally, The window I had faced into an interior patio space.

Very comfortable bed, big room - in the heart of the city but it was quiet. All of the staff was super helpfull and they did everything to make our stay perfect. Close to museums, easy to get to the metro, surrounded by shops, caffeterias and restaurants. If you ask at the reception they will give you w list of recommended restaurants which are really tasty ones. Breakfasts were really basic but everything what needed was provided fresh.

Location is excellent. Room is large enough, well equipped and clean. Breakfast is served in a nice room, food is fresh and diverse, coffee is very good.

The hotel itself is located on the two upper floors of a five stories building with a common entrance, so the entrance even does not look as an entrance to an hotel. In order to reach the elevator you need to carry your luggage 4-5 steps up by hand

Hotel Aviano is a hidden gem in the heart of Vienna. Recently renovated, it’s clean, comfortable, and offers a sense of privacy that’s hard to find in such a central location. While it’s not about luxury, it truly has everything you need; warm hospitality, peaceful atmosphere, and unbeatable access to the city’s best sights. Ideal for those who value comfort and location over frills. I’d absolutely stay again.
