- Perfect location for skiing - right on the slope, 2 minutes from the gondola. - Ski in ski out is very convenient - Good spa, with large pool, saunas, outside jacuzzi - Good breakfast with plenty of options - Large, clean rooms.

- Very old furniture in the room and all around the hotel, giving an unpleasant feeling - Worn out walls in some areas, something you really wouldn’t expect from a 5* hotel - Massage room with completely worn out walls, the paint was literally peeling of - very unpleasant surprise in a place that should be relaxing - Breakfast staring hour: it could start at 7 instead of 7.30, for better syncing with the gondola schedule. You have no chance of being there early and avoid the queue if you also want to take breakfast. - Parking is not for free. - Service at breakfast is disorganized, slowing it down.

I don't know how to explain, but From Check in to Check Out, every single one of the hotel workers are dying to help you including bargains for the ski rent :) I already congratulate them but It is important to write this review for the people who are planning to go to Bansko. Breakfast is open buffet and more than satisfactory. For example they are making omelettes for free :), numerous cheese types, pancakes, toasts more and more. Me and my family (with one baby and 12 Years old boy) are traveling enough but this is the first time that we eat perfectly delicious dinner (Half Board). Soups are daily, fresh and delicious. All the salads are tasty, they are really good to cook meats. If you are vegan/vegetarian ther are different options included the menu. Desserts are incredible (hot served chocolate sponge for a half board pension, this is the first time that I saw :) Now its time for the Special Thanx for the stars: Managers: Erkan & Ivanka; Waiters: Ilyas, Saban, Tugba, Yan, Anastasia, Vika, Diana, Katya & Orena; Kitchen: Chef Yusuf, Boran, Erkan, Rukiye, Cemile, Mehmet & Natalia; Hostess: Katya. The hotel is on the slope which is very good for ski in/ski out. The breakfast was amazing. And the reception’s lady very welcoming and helpful with all our requests. The VIP apartment was really big and comfortable and accommodated our family of 4:

I didn’t like the spa, pool. Quite dirty, people came from outside in boots near the pool. The sauna crowded and very clean. A the massage was really poor. The housekeepers didn’t understand not even one word in English and it was hard to communicate with them.

The hotel is one of the only two in Bansko (together with Kempinski) situated right on the slopes, meaning it's a true ski in / ski out. Breakfast was much better than last year and very well organised. It was always easy to find a table to seat, the buffet was very rich and food was good. The ski rental inside the hotel was also great, with a very nice system which I had not seen before anywhere.

Price is little bit higher than what one would expect.

We had an amazing experience in Bansko, and a big part of that was thanks to Olena at reception. We wanted to extend our stay, but everything was fully booked. Despite the challenges, Olena went above and beyond to find us a room, making sure we could enjoy our holiday stress-free. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made a difference. Thank you, Olena, for making our trip even more special! I didn’t like the SPA. Not very clean and people came from outside near the pool dressed and with boots. The massage was really poor and it was impossible to communicate in English with them. Same language problem with housekeepers.

Ideal location on the slopes for skiing, warm & comfortable. Spa facilities were excellent and the breakfast quality and selection were also great. Beds were super comfy and we had a slope facing room with balcony which was nice. Chef table Saturday evening with complimentary drinks and food was a lovely touch
