The room was super cozy and looked newly renovated. It had delicious Nespresso coffee & a comfy bed. We also couldn't get over how sound proof the room was considering its location; we'd stay here again for that reason alone. The main lobby doors are locked at night and can only be accessed with your room key; this made us feel safer. The elevator also required the room key! The parking lot for the hotel was directly beside it as well and only $30 to park for the night so much cheaper than other hotels we've stayed at.

It's in a busy area of downtown so just be aware of the interesting characters you may interact with.

Great little spot, retro chic decor in an exceptional location! Easy walking or Uber access to all the downtown spots. Lots of great food options close by, which was great because the only dislike we had while staying here was the breakfast option. The posters were definitely misleading by claiming the breakfast was "sumptuous". We were disappointed with the spread that was definitely not sumptuous nor delicious in any way. Soggy, mushy tater tots trying to be hashbrowns. Rubbery scrambled eggs. Sweating, curled up cheese and salami. Unripened fruits. Shriveled up, overcooked sausages. The yogurt cups were decent, but that was thanks to Yoplait. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. Staff were helpful. Bed was really comfy and the shower with the Skoah products definitely made up for the awful breakfast. We would highly recommend taking a 5 minute walk to Brunch Vancouver for one of the best brunches we had during our short stay. The Netflix streaming option was also nice after a long day out and about. Overall this spot is a 10/10 for comfort, cleanliness, value and location.

Very good high end hotel with cool style and without the fancy price tag. The team is extremely helpful and nice. Our baggage was brought up to our room and back out to our car on departure without asking for it which was a very nice touch as my husband is not allowed to lift anything for medical reasons, and usually I’m left with handling our 4 luggages by myself. Location can’t be beaten, it’s in downtown close to everything. Parking price is very reasonable compared to other hotels in downtown.

I asked for an extra duvet as we prefer to sleep with separate duvets. They put one extra in the room but it wasn’t made up and they didn’t leave cover for it so it was kinda pointless. Sound proofing could be better, as downtown noise is very present all night.

The location is ideal, close to sights and easy walking distance to the SkyTrain and downtown neighborhoods. Rooms are clean, with fresh, funky decor. Staff are exceptionally helpful ands we were greeted with kindness and free cold drinks. The bonus is that the hotel allowed us to check out a day early without charging us since we were affected by the AC strike and needed to change flights. I would stay at the Belmont without hesitation for any future trip to Vancouver.

The room was fine with a lovely confortable bed. The food in the restaurant was very good, nicely cooked and well presented by chef Ameer. Staff were very friendly and helpful with particular mention for Caitlin and Demara. The breakfast was a buffet with a variety of foods to choose from and very good value. The bar was nice and relaxing and the location of the hotel was good for access to the subway, restaurants and public transport.

- The room was spacious and comfortable. - Friendly and attentive staff. - They let me store luggage before check-in and after check-out. - The linens were clean, and the amenities provided were ample.

- I stayed during winter, and perhaps more lighting would have been better. I did not find any central ceiling light and a single light the lights up the room. There were a few smaller lights. - Generally safe, but there were few shady regions nearby.

It was a great stay and the staff were incredibly helpful and charming. I felt that the interior of the building was much more impressive than the exterior which looks quite dated and tired. The location in on the edge of good areas, but it can seem a little bit too edgy on some of the surrounding streets. There were a lot of homeless people around and we ended up having to call emergency services for a woman who had taken a drugs overdose on the street less than 100m from the hotel door. Not your fault, obviously, but it does affect the vibe of the hotel.

Great location. Just a few minutes walk from the downtown. Closes to subway station, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The room is cozy and spacious; the room design is cool and stylish. We really enjoyed staying here.

The lighting in the room is rather insufficient (on the other hand it’s atmospheric); relying only on three moon lamps (one on the table and one for each bedside) which is insufficient when you want to read a book.

Your parking lot is so tiny, not welcoming for anyone with a truck like myself. But we made it work, the hotel was great, the restaurant was amazing. Friendly staff all throughout the hotel. Even got a free beer from the hotel ceck in process. I would absolutely stay here again. Only down size was the music from the restaurant or nightclub downstairs was pretty loud and made it hard to sleep when your on the 1st floor. But the tunes didn't suck so I did a dance in my undies before passing out fast asleep, eventually :)

Parking lot, I think someone dinged my door having to park so close to each other. But such is life.

Convenient location for sightseeing and shopping. The decor was updated, trendy and beds were comfortable. The hotel and room were very clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The room was just slightly noisy at night due to facing Granville Street and we stayed over a long weekend. It would have been great to have a mini fridge in room to keep snacks, drinks, leftovers etc. The room size was a tad small and parking wasn’t the easiest to find.
