The two double-bed room was spacious enough for extra inflatable mattresses. The location, even though it was several blocks north and several blocks west of the Falls and on the edge of the tourist area, seemed safe. The walk to Niagara Falls is about 10-15 minutes from here. The parking lot seems safe for vehicles. There was often an employee in the parking lot (not sure if he was patrolling or just hanging out). We asked about tea when we only saw coffee in the morning and the staff was accommodating, giving us a bag from what appeared to be their personal box of tea. Wifi was fine. Room was no-frills but was updated and clean.

The hallway carpet wasn't clean. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor.

I liked the location. I was able to walk to the falls and surrounding activities and eateries. The size of the room and bathroom was great. The property was clean and redone. The beds are firm, If you like that sort of comfort. I prefer a bit more softness to my bed.

I didn't like the fact that there were no personal microwaves in the rooms ( personal preference), but they were available for use in a common area with an ice machine on the floor I was staying. I also didn't like the fact that if I needed a hairdryer, I needed to ask the front desk for one.The bathrooms done vent much when showering, so the steam builds up. Otherwise, I had no problem. I would stay again.

All in all I was satisfied with the room, the staff are friendly and easy to talk to, the location is good as it is close to restaurants, gas, a few minutes walk to the falls. My only concern is that the room does not have it’s own microwave, we are at the 1st floor which is an excellent lovation for us as I hate going up and down the stairs but when we needed microwave to re-heat the food we have to go up on the second floor. I find it inconvenience especially when there are other people who also wants to re-heat their food, it would have been nice if there is one inside your own room. Aside from this everything is great and would definitely choose the place again.

Though I mention about the microwave, I coudn’t say I dislike it. I do not so really I have nothing to say.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge wasnt cooling and the staff quickly replaced it for us within an hour. The room was very quiet during our stay, we didn't hear anything from the hallway or rooms beside us. That was surprising since the place was all booked up. The location is perfect! You are within 800 meters many attractions in Niagra Falls. We did not need to use our vehicle to go anywhere. We used the Wego bus or walked to our destinations. The included parking was a huge factor in our decision to stay here. We would definately stay there again. Not fancy but clean and great location.

having a coffee maker in the rooms would be great. The coffee in the lobby is only available around 9:00am. That,s too late for most people. It should be available by 7:00 am. The saving grace is that half a block away there is a convinience store to get early coffee, but most people don't want to leave the motel to get their morning coffee. If I have one complaint it is about having coffee available early in the morning for all guests and maybe cookies too. Other than that all was great.

For the price you pay, you really can’t complain. The Diplomat is a fabulous option in its range/category in the heart of Niagara. The rooms have been updated so everything is neat and tidy and does what you need. An easy location for walking to the centre shops, restaurants etc.

The shower curtain seemed to let a bit of water spray out and onto the floor right near the door hinge, so with the entire room being tiled it could get a little slippery around the bathroom entrance after two people had showered

The staff were super friendly, helpful and responsive, they really made you feel welcome. We entered the lobby to the clean smell of freshly washed laundry, the place was spotlessly clean and you could see workers around quietly improving the building. The room was huge, clean and newly refurbished, beds were comfy. Lots of satellite tv channels. We got an excellent price! It was a 1 minute drive to Fallsview Casino, 15 min walk to the falls, some restaurants to walk to close by and FREE PARKING. Really great value for the money. They do have kettles on demand but you need to bring your own milk and tea, instant coffee etc if you want a hot drink in your room. You do have a fridge to store things.

It is hard to complain when I got such great value! Small improvements would be to update the heating / air conditioning so you could set the room to a certain temperature, the heat worked well on the cool evening but you could only select settings of 1, 2 or 3. You can hear things from the hall and other rooms, so bring ear plugs if that bothers you.

The Diplomat Inn is great value for your money. We stayed there from Tuesday Sept.24- 26th for 2 nights in an Executive Room with 2 Queen Beds on the second floor. The staff are friendly, courteous and very accommodating. A very special mention and thank you to Carla, Khan and Lili for making our 2 night stay amazing. The rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable. Parking is free. Free coffee in the morning. They also have an ice machine and microwave. The air conditioner/heater unit in our room worked excellent. Location is within walking distance of Clifton Hill and the Falls. This is our second year in a row staying here ( for our girls trip) and we will make this our hotel for future girls trips. It's perfect for what we need. Thank you Diplomat Inn.

The only little thing we didn't like was that there were no ports to plug in your phone or technical devices. It would also be nice if there were more electrical outlets beside each bed near the night table so that we could plug in our phones with charging cords and blocks.

The room was very spacious as well as clean. The fridge was nice to have. Coffee in the morning until noon in the lobby was great. The bed was very comfy and the staff were very nice. The room was very quiet also. Having a night light incorporated in the mirrors was very clever. For the price it was really great. The bonus was the FREE parking. So many places you stay at the Falls, you have to pay at least $20 to park, which really adds to the cost of your room. We have booked to stay again in a couple of months as we go to the Falls quite often. This could now be our go to place. We booked the newly renovated room with 2 queen beds.

The best way to describe this hotel is bojuie on a budget. Don’t be discouraged by the outside, warm hallways or the carpet in the stairs, the rooms are wonderful! They did the best renovating with what they have and if you are looking for a great priced hotel with clean rooms and clean comfy beds and a fridge, this is your place! Also they offer free parking, 90% of hotels in that area charge $20+ for parking and this hotel is a 4 min drive to the falls! *mind you these pictures are ones I took after our stay before we left.

Hallway have some ac/ventilation

I had a truly great experience at this accommodation. Even though I checked in late at night, the staff kindly guided me through the process. Right after checking in, I noticed an issue with the bathroom, but the staff quickly came to check and resolved it right away. Everything, including the bed and bathroom, was very clean. During check-out, all the staff were friendly as well. I definitely plan to stay here again next time :)
