Exceptionally fancy design of the whole hotel, the price was quite low considering the nice location (proximity to trams and metro as well as nearby shops) and the fact that the rooms will make you feel like a princess. The "towel on the floor = change" rule is very smart. The cleaning service does seem to respect the do not disturb sign and will not clean for you if you don't want to. Receptionist also borrowed us scissors when we needed them the most (thank you <3).

There's a quite a bit of dust under the bed and cabinets. Warm water didn't run on the last day of our stay for some reason. Breakfast for 300 Kč/person is a bit overpriced so we weren't tempted to try it. The dark room design, while fancy, isn't ideal if you need to perform some tasks since the lights are quite dim.

Hotel Praga 1885 is just a short walk out of busy Andel - but the quiet inside means you are in another world. Check-in was swift and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room itself was the best I have ever had at this price point; comfortable and large with an excellent shower and a balcony, which was nice for having a morning coffee on. I was genuinely surprised at the value I got here - admittedly I booked well out of season - but I have paid way more for worse in the past. Recommended!

The breakfast was not quite to my taste, although people less picky than me would be absolutely delighted.

The mini bar/fridge in the room. Pointless. Works only when the room card is inserted in the socket which connects room electricity with the main electricity. Reception told us the fridge will work properly after being active for 24 hours. However, you need to take the card with you when leaving the room otherwise you have no how to get back to the room. Had to be buying ice from shop to be able to have cold drink after roaming the city in hot days.

Fantastic location with easy access to Metro, bus and tram services. A mini market, coffee shop and Chinese restaurant all opposite means quick access to the essentials if you don't want to walk into the centre itself. Museum and Old Town within 45mins walk if you're able, 15mins or less by transport. Room was delightful, everything was clean and comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Buffet breakfast (provided by 3rd party) was erratic with some strange choices (roast chicken, roast lamb, curried rice and steamed green beans). Quite limited considering the daily rate for it, but everything was tasty and well presented.

Value for money was just great! Room was exactly what it looked like on pics! After reading reviews I was a bit afraid but when I arrived I was totally happy! Cleanliness was just on top, bed was extremely comfy, TV was modern and quiet big. I especially appreciate the balcony in my room! I arrived one hour before the official check-in time and the lady at reception managed to give me a room earlier! Of course there are always some details to be fixed but overall I really enjoyed my stay! I would like to thank the staff to make my time in Prague so comfortable!

I wish the reception would be faced to the entrance. So when you enter you see faces of the staff and not backs. The fact that cleaning ladies were much more friendly than receptionists surprised me a bit.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and its location was great. There is a tram in front of it and the stop is very close. There is a shopping mall within walking distance where you can meet all your needs. It is very easy to reach Prague Central Station or historical places from the hotel. I liked the color harmony and the items in those places, there is a refrigerator and a kettle. The room was a bit small but it was not a problem for us. The staff was very good but I want to give a special thanks to Inkar. She gave us very nice detailed information about places we can easily go to, visit or eat in Prague and answered our questions about everything. Thank you

The hotel is in very convenient location. It was a quiet place. All the public transport is near, also a mall. The price is really good and you get a decent modern room. The staff is also really friendly.

There is no power sockets. One behind the sofa which is unreachable and the other under the table which is for the fridge and one in the bathroom. So it was very inconvenient to charge the phones and computers. Even though there was no air conditionier, they newly added wind machine, but it was useless when there are no power sockets. Besides that, everything was really nice.

Excellent location for exploring the city. Good connection via tram line but also close enough for getting around using Uber and taxi while not being too expensive. Quaint deco inside the hotel gave it a nice flair. Comfortable bed and pillows, good room temperature in early springtime.

On booking description it states an ironing service is included. When we asked staff about this, they had no further information to give us, thus we could not iron the garment we had planned. Tea set and fridge in room was dirty/sticky. On the first night we had no hot water, but the rest of the stay the issue was fixed, thankfully.

Very nicely decorated, the shower was unique in a positive way, the room was beautiful. The balcony was very romantic. It had very large windows and 12-ft ceiling. (Personally didn’t quite like the really tall ceiling, but my wife found it to be very nice.) Conveniently located near Boomerang Coffee (very nice man runs it despite very limited English), one tram stop (or an easy walk) away from many great dining options (Piggies!), Albert’s (grocery store), and a huge mall with even more dining options and even a movie theatre. Beyond that, the extensive tram system will quickly get you to Old Town Prague and all other parts of the city.

Unfortunately, there was no AC. Thankfully, it was about 38°F-55°F and we simply opened the window to get some cold air in. Not sure this would be very helpful in the dead of summer if you’re prone to being hot.

I didn't like that I couldn't connect to the TV because this option was only for phones with the iOS system, and although the room was cozy and clean, the water in the shower didn't drain at all and it created a pool. They could also think about air conditioning because when you came back to your room in the evening it was like being in a sauna
