The room was very clean. The hostel is right next to S-Bahn so it was very convenient to find it and travel in the city. The self-check in steps were quite easy to understand. The shower was working. There were enough outlets in the room. There was also a kettle and 2 cups. They left 2 mini haribos as a gift which was a cute touch.

We arrived around 4 pm so the room was quite hot. There was a fan though so we turned it on and since we were there only for 1 night it didn't bother us. There weren't any hand towels. So we had to use the body towels that were there. It's a small detail but makes a difference. This isn't about the hostel itself but if you are a light sleeper like me then you might find it difficult to have a full night's sleep because of the crazy screams of the seagulls.

The room was small but clean. It was the best price I found for a private room with bath. It's about a 1-minute walk from one Metro station and about 10 minutes from another. Then it's a short ride to downtown. There were nice big windows and plenty of light, although the view was just of another building. Self check-in and out was easy. I appreciated the elevator since my suitcase was heavy. The room was quiet. There's a bakery right around the corner.

The neighborhood isn't that attractive or interesting, but it's very close to Metro stations. There was no air conditioner -- just a fan. This could be a problem in hot weather.

It's a nice, self-checkin hotel with the entry card obtained from a security box through a pin dial. The room was barebones but comfortable, kinda like a correctional facility that grows on you. It has a kettle and complimentary coffee/tea. There's an elevator. A short walk to shopping and downtown.

The WiFi was weak, no fridge, no TV

Super smooth self check-in process and a nice quiet atmosphere in the hostel. Two minutes from the S-Bahn station and only a short ride to the Haubtbahnhof. Nice fusion Indian/Japanese/Pizza restaurant right below. Very sweet touch with the gummy bears on the pillows. Would happily stay again on my next trip to Hamburg.

Could have done with more coffee in the room (only had one sachet between two people) and maybe a hand towel in the bathroom.

the self checkin and checkout was smooth and easy.. the location is near to the metro.. very accessible.. just need to be a responsible guests

i like it.. the only thing that was off was there was a party or maybe a club that was playing very loud sound until around 3am which can be heard in the room.. other than that it was nice

The location is very good, a single room with a bathroom perfect for a short stay. Nice and clean.

Didn't expect a single small paper cup instead of a regular cup. Also would be good to have something on the floor near the shower, like a mat or additional little towel. Minor details to make it even more comfortable.

All you need to overnight! Good location with a public transport 2 min away on foot, quiet neighborhood, a kettle, clean room with a private bathroom.

The mattress was too soft for me, but I got used to sleep on a hard one.

The hostel was close to the central bus station, which was important. Not far to walk to the centre either.

I generally don't like ho(s)tels with no staff. Expensive for what it was

Easy check-in/out. Could park close by. Location was pretty good. Bakery around the corner for breakfast.

Room needs a kettle so you can make a cup of tea!

The self-serviced key locker at the front gate is easy to use given that the instruction is clearly stated. The place is clean, quiet, safe and comfortable to stay (speaking of my room). Convenient location where the underground can be reached within two minutes on foot.

I am not sure whether it is by convention, but no slippers provided. I suppose that people from some other cultures might need them going to the washing room. It would be more considerate if slippers are optional for guests when booking which comes with some sterilizing fee. Shower places need to be tended a bit more.
