Very close to the centre of cologne. Great shops near by. I was very hesitant to stay because of the reviews but I had a lovely stay and for the price I would stay again! My room was clean. YouTube and Netflix on the TV was a bonus! Beds very comfortable, I had a nice smooth easy check in. The man who checked me in also made sure I knew how to get in once they close the doors at night, also shown me. Being a solo traveler I felt very safe in this hotel 🤗

Slight sewer smell in the bathroom but they put air fresheners in. Couldn't smell it in the bedroom, nothing else bad to say about this property!

Very great location close to almost everything. Staff were very friendly they gave me recommendations for places to visite Good value of money/quality. I wasn't expecting much for the price that I paid but for a 2/3 days max stay it's very convenient. The breakfast was good!

The TV in my room wasn't working and was not a smart TV. You can literally hear if someone is talking outside or the room next to you :/ The window doesn't open all along but it's the german architecture and not really the hotel's fault.

I got a great deal on a standard double room and for the price I paid, I am extremely pleased with my stay. In fact I do not understand the mediocre score this hotel is getting: it's extremely well-located (very central but on a quiet side-street), absolutely clean, comfortable and cosy, and the room was in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and a perfectly suitable breakfast is available.

My top-floor room was a bit hot, but I had asked for a bright and quiet room, and that's exactly what I got.

Good location right next to the subway, staff upon checkin were very accomodating. Due to last minute travel plans I had to pay for 2 nights while I only made it there on time for 1 night - upon checkin staff “upgraded” my room to have a bigger bathroom to compensate for this loss. While this was a nice gesture the room was still very small, perfect for what I needed, but I was curious as if I got upgraded, how much smaller could the bathroom in the room I originally booked really be?!

The hotel was very close to the main train station and Cathedral - most museums were within walking distance and pedestrianised shopping areas and eateries were just around the corner. My room was perfect for one person - very clean and snug. On hot evenings the window could be opened all the way to let a breeze in.

The room decor was a little dated and the shower could have used a softer setting.

Windows opened right out (rather than safety-locked as in some hotels). Nice furniture and lighting. Shower was easy to control with good water pressure. Hardly any noise in room despite being in town centre. Convenient location for shops and station.

Shower/toilet room door did not quite catch shut properly (though not really an issue as i was staying alone). The only view outside was of apartment blocks.

My room was small but it was cosy and had everything I needed. Situated in refurbished old buildings surrounded by big modern buildings, and decor that was elegant without being extravagant, the Centro has real character. The location is brilliant, very near the Dom (Cathedral) and Hbf (main station) and just around the corner from the central shopping zone. I

The hotel is situated in really great location in the city center. The room was small but enough for one person. It had all the basic amenities from cupboard with cloth hangers and a separate cloth rack to towels and washing liquids in the bathroom. Room was clean, but in the hallway some small trash was here and there.

The building is old, so there is no elevator, however this was informed when booking the hotel. The outlook of the hotel and the room is a bit worn down, but the cleanliness itself was good.

We loved the private room, heated, comfortable, clean and just what we were looking for, just to rest. The rooms are a bit old, but with the necessary equipment, we loved the buffet breakfast full of delicious food, we will definitely return in the future! The staff was very friendly, the reception, breakfast and the housekeeping.

Beautiful building inside and outside, rooms were clean (they were obviously old rooms etc but still very nicely kept, didn’t bother me), breakfast looked amazing and the hotel was well kept and delivered a very nice experience for me as someone travelling solo.

nothing i didn’t like, i very much enjoyed the hotel.
