Good room size. Close to the train station, which was convenient for us as we arrived late and tired. You can get to the city center by walking (20-30min) or several buses in 10-15min.

We booked the hotel because of the pool, but we couldn't use it because its temperature was 26 degrees. It's a bit too cold for winter! The location is good if you arrive late or leave early by train, but note that the surroundings are two construction sites and the back of a mall with trash containers.

We stayed at a business suite for 2 nights and when we came back from a 1-night stay in Hallstatt, we stayed at a junior suite for 1 more night. We liked the size of both suites. Although they were quite expensive as compared to a standard double room, we preferred paying more for comfort. We liked that we could keep our luggage at the hotel when we were in Hallstatt.

Some areas of the floor around the dining tables and chairs in the business suite were not as clean as I would like. There were dry food left over when I cleaned the areas with antiseptic wipes that I kept in my lugguage.

The buffet breakfast on Sunday was really good. Location is closed to train station. Facility is clean.

There is ice bucket inside the room but when i asked the reception where i could get ice, he told me i needed to go buy the ice by my own. This is the first time i heard about the bucket is only for convenience.

Location next to main railway station, bit far away from the centre but perfect for me. Spacious rooms, comfy bed. Very good breafasts, with wide and changing selection of warm and cold food (i stayed 8 nights, so i really appreciate that the options were changing day to day). Very helpful staff, they moved me to another room when i got tired of noisy neighbours (there was some techno, rave or sth festival in Salzburg and some guests obviously didn’t have enough of loud music in concerts….)

Presence of fans of loud techno, but that’s not really hotel’s fault.

Great selection although I still think it’s too expensive for the breakfast. The pool was very refreshing but quite cold The location to both the train station and bus plaza meant everything you would want to get to, was easily accessible, although the walk into old town isn’t too far either The bedrooms are exceptionally large and well planned out The whole place just oozes class

Nothing from a Hotel point of view but the new municipal building being built next door has lost the sky lounge it’s views and also some noise while building work going on, but it’s well on in its construction, so shouldn’t be a problem too much longer

Clean and comfortable hotel, located a few minutes from the Salburg HBF (central train station). Made it very easy for our arrival and departure. The staff were friendly, in particular the bar staff, who took time to give us some tips for visiting Salzburg. Breakfast was fabulous, huge selection to start the day. We had dinner our first night at the hotel which was great! It's a little far from the old town, which we did know when booking. We did the walk a couple of times, but if you don't like walking - get a Salzburg city pass and you can use the trams/buses (located a few minutes away) constantly with no extra charge.

We had a wonderful stay at the **Wyndham Grand Salzburg**. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and very well located, but what really stood out for us was the service. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special mention must go to **Ms. Kata Hajko** at the breakfast reception. She greeted us with a warm smile every morning, showed us to our table, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was just right. She kindly asked about our preferences, including how we’d like our eggs prepared, which made the breakfast experience feel much more personal and attentive. Small touches like this really elevate the stay, and we truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. Overall, an excellent hotel with outstanding service highly recommended!

The staff were amazing! They took great pride and investment in helping me feel welcome, and if I had questions or needed something, remembered who I was and did their best to help. SUPERIOR STAFF here! Location is minutes from the train/bus and, the hotel gives you complementary transit passes to use during your stay! As an added bonus, if you decline room cleaning, they give you a voucher for a free drink at their bar. We went through a heatwave here, so the pool was fabulously cool and refreshing.

Air con was not very strong, but it was a heatwave. The first night they had no fan for us, but first thing in the morning, they sent someone up to get the AC going....and they brought a fan also. So big kudos to them for making every effort. I will say, the bed was very comfy, but the pillows not so much, at least for me.

This was our first stay at a Wyndham property. And we were thankfully pleased. Would consider staying here again. Overall, a reasonable choice. And a very good breakfast.

Once again, as with so many hotels these days, the printers connected to the guest PCs in the lobby were unusable. We requested paper refills from the front desk. But none ever arrived. The hotel is very close to the main station, but a bit far from the old town and sights. It is, however, therefore convenient for local public transport, of course. And there were reasonable small restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well. Unfortunately, due to our limited free time during our stay, we were unable to use the pool and fitness amenities.

The staff is really nice and kind. The breakfast is very good.

Not so clean, the room I was old and there is a big construction in front of the window, with noise and dust
