Beautiful property, next to the beach as well as many restaurants. Room and bathroom was spacious and very clean with maid service daily if required. We loved the deck next to the bar on main level to people watch in the mornings and evenings. The pool and deck was an added bonus to the property with an outdoor restaurant and bar that was huge and beautiful!

While the buffet breakfast was huge, I personally didn't love it. I felt the quality was lacking for such a beautiful property but would not deter me from staying again.

Air condition did not work, they sent maintenance staff but didn’t help much. Buffet breakfast is ok…should have better egg choices and variety, same thing every day. Should update the decor in the rooms.

We loved the placement of the hotel and our 2nd floor room with the balcony with ocean view; the big room with all the necessary, that the rooms were cleaned and our bed was made everyday and towell changed everyday. Breakfast was quite of a big choice and tasty as well. . Loved that they had a spa. 80's kind of look,we liked it. Photos don't do it justice

The fact that there isn't an indoor pool or that one of the outdoor pools was not heated. Please take note that the balcony doors are almost mat as a resulat of the cleaning products and you can barely enjoy the view from the bed. Having them crystal clear instead would make it best of the experience for each visitor. Spa could use an updayed jacuzzi with more bubble programs and also maybe some dimmer light or darkers walls. There was a smell when entering room but it got fresh after leaving balcony door open for a while.

The leisure facilities advertised had to pay extra to use other than pool and gym.

Breakfast ok, fried food not good....sausages and bacon fatty, scrambled eggs very runny, boiled eggs weren't hard boiled but soft in middle. Nice selection of fruit though...

There could've been a coffee machine in room, iron and ironing board.also. Umbrellas and stands need to be replaced as while I was there one turned completely inside out ..one came out of stand and fell on am old lady hitting her on the head and one flew out of a stand in front of us nearly hitting me on chair behind. Another day whilst having drinks ours flew off nearly hitting my sister and knocking her drink right off the table. This is very dangerous and this issue needs to be addressed immediately as someone is going to be hurt very badly or even killed.

Great location in Portimão! Exceptionally clean and continually maintained throughout the day, beautiful location on the beach, walking distance to many superb restaurants and lively nightlife with great views and food! The spa service we had (massages) was incredible! Breakfast was included and delicious. It is buffet style with a wide variety of food and beverages to choose from. Poolside restaurant had many food choices and we were happy with our lunches there. We loved the free use of umbrellas and chairs at the beach! We found the prices at the hotel and in the area to be very reasonable especially for the location. Check in and check out was very easy. I would recommend the hotel and would choose to stay here again!

There were a couple of times that we had miscommunication with the front desk. Once was in regard to laundry services (I received conflicting information from two different staff members). The second, and most important was a mix up with booking spa services for a birthday! Fortunately, there was availability for us to receive them on the day we wanted but it was at a different time and it impacted the day we had planned. In both instances we spoke with the same front desk staff member. I will acknowledge that our different languages may have played a small part, but I believe it had more to do with his listening skills. I say this because when I would repeat my question or request he understood the topic but wasn’t answering the question.

The location was superb! The main pool was big and there was plenty of sun beds for the guests. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning didn’t work in the room so it got extremely warm and uncomfortable in the night. When I opened the window, noise from outside continued to wake me up and there wasn’t enough breeze to help cool the room. When I informed staff at reception they said it wasn’t working in any rooms. I asked if there was a fan but they didn’t have any. I guess they only switch it on during the summer months to keep the cost down but it very clearly stated on the amenities that a/c was provided.

Great location and view from the balcony. Colonial furniture. Nice garden and swimming pool.

High price for the small dog of 20 eur per night with not much included. Breakfast with pool vegan offer and the quality of products below 5 star hotel. Staff very strict and not guest friendly. No cattle, tea or coffee available in the room.

Lovely location on the beach. Beautiful gardens & pool areas. Spacious rooms with plenty of wardrobe & drawers space. All the staff were very friendly & attentive. Good food, reasonable prices

At breakfast, the coffee machine was extremely slow to operate. No toaster. We had to leave early on the last day & unless we paid extra we couldn't have anything on a breakfast in our room other than what they chose to give us- I appreciate it may have been too early to cook but I didn't think it was unreasonable to ask for smoked salmon instead of ham when it's always out on the cold breakfast buffet.

The dinner was exceptional. The view from my room was beautiful. The room service was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. The place was very clean. The mini fridge was always stocked and the cleaning crew were always so nice.

Not really 5 star standard rooms, they were tired looking and there was wasn’t much selection for breakfast . The coffee in the room was also not great.
