The location was excellent and the accommodations were comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure and complimentary bottles of water were appreciated.

The cost for one night for a family room with private bathroom was expensive.

The hotel is clean, calm, quiet and very central. The wifi is good. They accepted me before the check-in time. Thank you for that.

I made 2 different reservations in a row. They couldnt combine the two. Because it was very difficult to explain this situation via messages. They were very slow to respond to messages. Also although I chose mixed room in 2 different reservations, both of them were full male. That is fine but lots of snoring males was not nice. What is the point of mixed? I dont think this is a coincidence. It was difficult to sleep because of people making noise and snoring at night and early in the day. The beds were not very comfortable.

I wish there were curtains for each sleep.Area to have a little more privacy. Also, if they can come clean every day.Because the bathroom floor would get wet and dirty, often, and the garbage wasn't taken out regularly. The staff was okay. They may be a little over worked, but they were cold. And sometimes rude the only one that was super good nice was Alexander.. She always took the time to talk to me. And give me some great recommendations.

It was super clean, very good location right next to Sol station and 5 min walking from Plaza mayor, the rooms were very clean and we had 2 showers and 2 toilets to share among 8 people which is very reasonable for a hostel. The beds are comfortable with their own light and plug. Lockers are spacious enough for a cabin trolley and a backpack and some stuff more, you should bring your own padlock or purchase it there.

Only 2 things could be improved about the room, first the beds lack privacy as they don't provide curtain. Second, the showers cannot be locked from the inside.

The salon/ common area was fantastic! The rooms were cleaned very well daily. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the staff that I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The environment for me was very calm and peaceful for a hostel in the middle of the busiest part of Madrid.

My only minor issue was that it seemed the AC worked harder during the day, but I tend to get hot at night, and did get a bit hot on the top bunk of the 5th floor. Also, bed curtains would be a bonus to add privacy. Also, I wish the kitchen had a stove that was accessible to the guests because I was trying to be healthy and not spend a lot of money, and would have liked to cook something. But overall, the place was amazing and beautiful!

The location was perfect as it's in the middle of the city and easy to go anywhere. I didn't expect it was so comfortable when staying in a hostel. The room was large enough for 3 of us and it's clean and tidy. Even its location was in the city centre, it's quiet enough for me to sleep at night when I closed the door of the lovely balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful. My son loved the common room where I loved this beautiful building. We will definitely stay here next time and I highly recommended TOC hostel Madrid.

We had a room on the top floor with a little balcony overlooking the street below. It was so fun and entertaining to watch and listen to the street life below. The soundproofing was so good that you couldn’t hear a thing from outside when the windows were closed. The room was a bit small, but it was very comfortable for our family of two parents with two young adult children. The bathroom was small but adequate. The location could not have been better. Very centrally located and within walking distance to everything in Central Madrid. Great little bistro across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast for 10 euros a person. Cool bar in the hotel. Stopped in there for drinks several times. We highly recommend Toc Hostel Madrid!

I really liked the building and the location. This is my second TOC hostel, the first one was in Barcelona and the 2nd time in Madrid.

I can say there are some things missing in Madrid like the organizers for each person, where you can put your everyday things like creams, shampoo, etc. also it would be great if they had hangers in the shower cause it’s very uncomfortable to shower, whole some of your things are hanging on the door and some on the floor. Meanwhile in TOC Madrid, you could leave your stuff for free for hours, while in TOC Barcelona it was paid.

The Toc Hostel was a great value for the location and the comfort. The staff were really helpful. They laid down a ramp to get in and out for my whole week stay. When the entry was difficult they ran out to assist me. For an old building the elevator was roomy. The architecture of the building was amazing. It was very close to Sol metro stop.

Wheelchair accessibility was okay but not wonderful. No accessible bathroom or shower. If you can't go a few steps on your own seek another place.

Great location - central to the main attractions. And about 1km walk to the bus station to go to the airport. Communal facilities were extremely well equipped. Loved the seating areas where you can chill. The hostel felt safe. Beautiful decor in the communal areas. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed in the classic family room which suited our group of 5 and we were given clean towels. The front desk staff were all so helpful and friendly. Free luggage storage available. There is a free walking tour which meets at reception. I highly recommend this hostel.
