The staff were excellent across the entire hotel, from reception through to the staff in the restaurants, bars etc . Alessio provided us with much useful information about the island and was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The hotel has a good array of pools and loungers and plenty of entertainment for both young and old. Overall, a very good experience, but not quite 5 star.

The gym. although large with a lot of equipment was either rusted, broken or old and although useable, it felt like it needed a refresh. Food in the buffet restaurant was ok but not five star and expensive for what it was. We used room service twice and the it was just about edible.

Hotel a little quiet in the evening times if you didn’t have small children

Clean, lots of faculties, right beside the beach, amazing spa. The kids club was the highlight as our 3.5 yo enjoyed it

The room was cleaned way too often even though we had a DND sign. The stars would come in with the sign on, clean and go while we were sleeping in the afternoon. This is one thing, we would definitely want to avoid.

Great location handy to beach

I booked a suite which was nice but had a view of the car park. Friends who had arrived 2 days earlier were upgraded to a suite with a superior view. When I spoke to the reception to explain that I had paid for a suite and that I had no complaint about people being upgraded but when you have paid the full price for a suite and they give an upgrade superior to a client who has paid less it leaves you wondering why you should pay for a better room

Fantastic family hotel, bit quieter in the September time, which was perfect for a baby and toddler. Food at hotel was lovely. The breakfast is superb. The gluten free options are brilliant, gluten free bread\toast (seperate toaster!), crossiants, biscuits, muffins,pancakes etc. The buffet options were very good for gluten free too, for Asian night they use gluten free soya sauce in everything, so lots of choice. Beach is on your doorstop as well as lots of restaurants (10mims walk)

There were not many kids using the kids club, which meant it was very quiet at this time. However, The kids disco was fun for the kids but could have been a bit longer .

We love visiting the Princesa Yaiza, this was our 3rd time staying at this wonderful hotel, and every time we have left planning when we should come back next. The staff are excellent, the facilities are great, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. This time round the kids preferred staying at the family pool, which was conveniently located near our room, and all the services and amenities you get elsewhere in the hotel were equally present here too. It always feels like the emphasis of the hotel is on making it a special place for families to enjoy. 5 stars

Whilst breakfast is always busy time and no issues with the food, it felt like staff where a little overwhelmed on some of the days we were there, with likes of coffee taking a long time to arrive, and plates to be cleared etc. This happened on 3 of the 8 days we were there. To be clear the staff do a great job, it may be down to our timing or resourcing, its hard to know.

We loved the location and facilities in the hotel. The staff were marvellous and really helpful especially when I lost my hat.

The location of our room which overlooked the roof of the pool restaurant blocking out garden or pool view was very disappointing. Also the coffee at breakfast left a lot to be desired considering this was a five star hotel!

Very nice property, beautiful arrangement with lots of flowers and plants, the pools are awesome and the whole area invites to relax. Breakfast selection and quality was terrific.

We had a suite but the sleeping rooms are inside, which can be a bit noisy at times. Waiting to get seated at the breakfast was absolutely unnecessary; there was certainly enough space but it’s poorly organized. We had to wait many times to get a seat, although tables have been empty. It’s basically the only thing that could go wrong, let people wait. Staff could focus of getting people seated faster or let them self-select.

Excellent customer service , very friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious, pool was great, the games around the pool provided by Carla kept us entertained . Don Giovanni , was our favourite restaurant and we ate here at least 9 times during our stay . The burrata , the pizza , the wild Seabass cooked to perfection was just a few of the dishes that we enjoyed . We felt so welcome every time we ate, and Maria & the other staff made us feel special. Loved it soo much , that we booked another Sara in a few months .

The staff were very welcoming and were extremely attentive, each time we interacted with one they made our daughter feel like the star attraction which was lovely. The cleanliness was fantastic, I don't think I saw a wrapper anywhere. The thing that sticks out the most which was incredible is the pool toy recycling box, when it gets to the end of the holiday you put your toys in for the next child to play with instead of buying new ones each time and dumping them somewhere or binning them. Beer was fantastic too

The kids club activities were lacking in "fun" to what we were expecting and read online on travel blogs, for example there was a paw patrol activity, when we arrived it was colouring in card. Another example was the activity was creative painting, when we asked to take part we were given paper and crayons. Also another advice which we hear from people who have attended other hotels is that the kids entertainment in the evening changes each night while it was a mini disco every night. The games room could do with updating as it is a huge room but with everything spaced out.
