It was a comfortable, clean room. Great bathroom. Wonderful to have multiple USB outlets. Very well located for trips to Tate museum.

The check-in process was disappointing. The hotel emailed an online check-in form, which did not work. When we arrived, we stood in a long queue before being told that our room was not ready yet and having to wait around for more than an hour. We had to keep re-joining the queue to check whether the room was ready yet. We accept that sometimes things don't go according to plan but this experience could have been so much less stressful if reception staff had provided a clear explanation of what was going on, set a realistic timeframe, and taken the initiative to walk the 3 metres to where we were sitting to let us know when the room was ready.

Location was perfect for what I needed to get to. The room was surprisingly charming for how compact it was (it was only myself anyway and I spent most of the day sightseeing). Had everything I needed.

There was a slight miscommunication about breakfast where I thought that it finished at 11 whereas breakfast actually finishes at 10. I arrived the first morning at 10:10 but thankfully the lady let me grab a quick bowl of cereal before she finished clearing everything up. Other than that, everything was lovely.

Very welcoming hotel with a lovely reception area, hotel bar and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the check-in process was smooth. Our room was clean and modern, we liked that it had a mini fridge and safe. The bed was comfy and there was a nice rainfall shower, heating controls worked well and noise pollution was minimal. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning which was lovely with a great selection. Location is great, close to the shard, stations and lots of shops, food and drink places. Hotel is good value for money overall, would recommend :)

Very minor flaw was that the shower dripped sometimes, but you could barely hear it when the door was closed.

Room good with plenty of space and comfortable bed and pillows. Only issue was the slippery shower floor with just a towel rail to reach up (5 feet +) and grab. We later spotted a notice saying that a shower mat could be requested. The breakfast was good but let down by delays in replacing or running out of items (ham/home baked bread/croissants) at 7.30 am. We liked the well designed public area and the staff were all very professional, helpful and friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay.

-Staff were friendly and helpful. -Cozy bar with a nice atmosphere. -Nice breakfast. -Location was perfect (for my purpose) and you could either walk around to landmarks or just take the tube.

There were some things that I didn't particularly enjoy. - the plug adaptor was for sale - 6 pounds each. I found it a bit expensive... They could maybe provide some instead. - it's a personal preference, but I dislike carpets on the floor in hotel rooms. I find it extremely unhygienic since you can't properly keep them clean especially after each check-out. - our room was a bit small, I was expecting a spacier one. Although the bed was comfortable! - gym was very small and the multi-machine wasn't properly working.

The location was great. Even though it isn't very close to the tube, it was still in a great area to walk around in. The bed was comfortable and we were upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast was great and included scrambled eggs, bacon and lots of options for all tastes. The staff was really nice at all times. I don't understand some of the reviews calling them rude. They were all very friendly and helpful. I got a warm greeting from every single person working there at all times. And they helped us with everything we needed.

The negatives are small but perhaps the hotel can improve on these things. First, the gym hours are too limited. No one is working at the gym, so why not just leave it accessible at all times? Or at least until midnight! People who need to work out usually want to do so before breakfast or after getting back from dinner. The umbrellas were for rent only and you needed to download an app to do it. This is annoying. I get taking a deposit, but to rent an umbrella seems like a petty way to make money. It should just be a free service. Breakfast had to be paid for in advance. We would have liked to put it on the bill and pay for it at the end. But these negatives are minor. I would return.

The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing - I loved the lounge area and spent a lot of time there during my stay as I was recovering from an operation. It was very relaxing and a beautiful space. The Reception staff were great - always very friendly and attentive.

Housekeeping could have been better - none of the bins in the room had liners inside so we ended up buying our own from outside, given we were at the hotel for five nights. It was also quite hard to get the temperature right in the room at night, and it was quite hot.

The location was top-notch!! The hotel was nice and cozy, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the room was well-equipped and big. Key tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarkets and city centre within walking distance or easily accessible with public transport or taxi (Tate Museum - South Bank area - Borough Market - London Bridge - Big Ben etc.)

The only thing was my view - which was a construction site with cranes etc. But as I was out the whole day and didn't book it for the view, it didn't matter to me and I would stay here again without any hesitation.
