The hotel is perfectly located to explore downtown or catch two nearby Metro stations to check out all that Montreal has to offer. Staff was polite and accommodating, and I was happy that the lounge was spacious and inviting. My room was good, it has great AC, bedding and toiletries. Ample room and good soundproofing from other rooms and the hallway. The included coffee machine was greatly appreciated! There is a diner nearby for breakfast. Very tasty although I only went once. Lastly, I thought the value and location you get for the price is unbeatable! If I visit again, I'll definitely stay here.

Just one thing comes to mind: the lounge coffee machine broke down in the middle of my stay and I wasn't able to offer some coffee to my lounge guest. Other than that, a perfect stay and I would recommend staying here.

all was good but, I wasn't fussy about the parking. We had to leave the las day 5:30 am and we were supposed to walk a couple of blocks outside to get to the garage. We asked the staff and where told there was no other option. The nights staff, around 11 PM said if we parked on the street then, we should be ok for the morning. That's what we did.

the first staff we asked about the parking was rather rude and had seemed agitated to have to explain to us.

Location is perfect for events at the Bell Center and walking distance to many options for shopping, dining, and night life. So nice to park the car when you arrive and not have to get in again til it's time to leave. Everything you need is right there.

It would have been nice if the staff offered assistance, if we needed it, to carry our bags up about 6 flights of stairs to get to this additional part of the 6th floor where our room was. We weren't told about this before going up so it was a little surprising and a bit of a pain with a large suitcase so I think it would be nice to offer assistance to your guests staying up there. However, once we were up we loved the room and the surprise deck.

The property is just off St. Catherine street. You are close to everything. 4min walk to Metro/ Airport Shuttle (747) stop/ few extra minutes to University and Montreal Eaton Mall. Whatever you’re looking for in Montreal you won’t find hard time accessing it. That was my experience and it was my first visit. Receptionist asked me if it was my first visit, gave me a map, and marked the hotel, my destinations and other places worth visiting. That was very helpful.

The building is old, so the elevators are bit slow and AC was a bit noisy in my room. I didn’t complain, I was fine with it. The room was renovated, clean, had toiletry and complimentary hot drinks.

Staff were excellent at their services. I requested for an early check in, and room was actually ready when we arrived way earlier than the usual check in time, 4pm. I was very impressed. Excellent customer service and staff were very polite and very accomodative. I must thank the 2 gentlemen who were at the reception that day. Bathroom was small but very clean. We were at room 420, 4th floor.

Wish room was bigger and had a bigger window. Room. was very small but had all the facilities. It would have been better if there was a light figure near TV area, it was bit darker there.

This was my second time staying at this location and I will likely book again in the future. The location is perfect - 2 blocks from the Centre Bell and perfectly situated along public transit routes. The YUL 747 bus stops within 1 block of the hotel so if you're coming by airplane it's very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. The Cora's located in the lobby is great for reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. There are a lot of other great food joints to choose from within a close walking distance. Shoppers drugmart, SQDC, SAQ, Eaton Center all close by. The room itself was clean and spacious. My first time staying there was in a Queen room which was small but perfectly fine for a couple. This time we stayed in a King room and the space difference was substantial. Going forward I would choose a king room over a queen room again simply for the extra space in the bathroom. Staff were kind and knowledgeable throughout our stay.

There was an unpleasant odour at the base of the stairwell near the microwave in the lobby. I assume this was from food spills after guests have used the microwave. This is a very minor inconvenience - we simply avoided the stairwell - however I do think hotel staff may want to address this. There were only 1 of two elevators operational for most of our stay which resulted in longer than usual waits for the elevator, and more crowded than usual elevator rides. Not the fault of the hotel, and it was working by the last nights of our stay. Hopefully next time both will be operational.

Room was modern and well appointed. Location was excellent for touring downtown.

Parking was terrible, especially with the window washing vehicle parked in front of hotel.The timing for washing windows very early morning woke me up.Should be done later in day. The very technical TV did not work because someone who was not technical had fooled with it. Had to call reception to get it going. The gentleman who came up was polite, friendly and efficient as he had been the person who had set up all the tvs in the hotel. Took him about half an hour in my room and out to correct the situation. Not his fault, but I was very tired and did not appreciate this problem. The AIR CONDITIONER! Room very small, right beside the bed.VERY NOISY.

The hotel has good location in the middle of downtown area, with easy bus connection from and to the airport (by bus 747) and metro stations. Room fulfilled my expectations and entailed all one needs, including a coffee machine and iron, which I appreciated. Well-equipped bathroom and excellent cleaning service that has done its job 100%. The desk staff very professional and warm at the same time - many thanks!

The hotel is clearly not the newest and the walls are relatively thin, so you could hear people from next or opposite room if they were a bit louder. I was very disappointed that my booking did not include breakfast, as that would have come handy. Coffee machine in the room sufficed, in the end.

Staff did a printout when needed without any problem. Quick check-in. Great location in city center near Eaton Centre. Good breakfast restaurant in the lobby. Family friendly. Near Museum of Fine Arts.

The bulb was blinking in the room. Room needed a bit of a more thorough cleaning. First, TV was hard to set up. Then, the whole TV system was out. Couldn't watch Euro 2024 football. Staff has to be a bit more considerate, cordial, and helpful when communicating with guests.

The Best Western Plus Montreal Downtown- Hotel Europa has a perfect location, it's a couple of blocks from the Train Station, steps away from the shopping main area in Montreal, plenty of restaurants and all sort of services you may require in your visit to Montreal. I will definitely stay again and recommend the hotel The staff were very helpful and friendly, I arrived early and had no problem checking in. My experience was very positive.
