Great location. Friendly staff. Right in the heart of Madrid with most places of interest within walking distance. Room was cozy and quiet.

The room was really tiny but well equipped. The only thing I struggled with a bit was the shower. It was so small I could barely bend down to clean my feet and I’d often bump the mixer tap with my hip shutting off the water or changing the temperature suddenly. Maybe old-school twist taps (instead of a flick-mixer) would be better for the showers because they are more low-profile and less likely to affected if you bump them.

This property is extremely well located, it is perfect for people with not much time in Madrid that need to be well connected. The staff are extremely friendly and very happy to help.

The only downfall was that the room was very small, however, there is a small cupboard where one can hang the clothes that they need and cupboard space for toiletries in the bathroom.

The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to many tourist attractions, convenient transportation options, full of restaurants around. Room has everything you might need there, it’s small but comfortable and not too small. It even had a tiny balcony which was nice and cozy with a nice view of orange rooftops(we were on 4th floor). Interior is simple but nice and clean. Everything was functional, the bed was comfortable. It wasn’t noisy at all, obviously the street outside has some noises because the location is full of small restaurants but closing the window and turning on the AC solved the problem. The service was great, our room was ready for checkin early which was a nice surprise. I will consider staying there again next time in Madrid.

It’s not a dealbreaker at all and just to mention. The bathroom was really small, not too comfortable to get on the toilet and out, brushing your teeth inside with the door closed wasn’t possible. Again It’s not a big deal and we were completely fine with that.

Great location, very close to the main attractions in Madrid. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offered convenient luggage storage. After cleaning the suite, they even sent a message allowing me to check in an hour earlier, which was a nice touch. The suite was very clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended!

The only minor downside was that the elevator was quite small, so it can be a bit difficult to manage if you have large luggage or bags.

The location is superb, right in the historic center. The room was small, but totally acceptable for the historic center. The decor was simple, but everting was clean, modern and functional. We were in a 3-bed room, so most of it was occupied by the beds, but there also was a small table with tea/coffee making facilities, two bedside tables and a mini-fridge. The room even had a very small balcony overlooking the street. Bathroom was small, but clean and functional. The beds were comfortable. There was air conditioning. The WiFi worked well. I think the hotel is ideal for a short city break in Madrid. For longer stays, your mileage may vary.

There is quite a bit of noise outside, but that’s a general problem in any city center, not an issue with this specific hotel. Closing the window helped, though then you would need to run the AC.

Amazing location at a reasonable price. Area is lively and in walking distance to most attractions. My room had a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, desk and small balcony - just big enough for one chair. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room and bathroom were small even for a solo traveller. There could be more street signs for the hotel, you need to look for the street number. It is also on the second floor of a residential building which is a bit confusing but once I found it, check in was smooth.

Location cannot be better! We walked to everywhere from the hotel. Although it is in a busy neighborhood, we felt safe with the access key and 24 hour staff who are very helpful and friendly, gave the map and directions.

As a typical European hotel, the room is very small. It can be noisy from the people walking by in the middle of the night. But if you stay in Madrid to see many places by foot, this is an ideal place!

Absolutely love the old features; the staircase, doors and decor in the entrance area. The location was amazing, especially for New Years Eve, couldn’t have been closer to the action! Glad I chose this place and not a large, boring hotel chain. Staff were always very helpful and friendly, even with my poor attempts at Spanish.

The only thing I didn’t like was the smell in the bathroom. I’m sure this is not the fault of the hotel and is a larger issue with drainage in the city, but it’s such a shame as everything else is great here. Maybe an air freshener in the bathroom would help a bit.

The welcome from and friendliness of the staff was so lovely - always smiling and happy to help. The room was compact, as was the bathroom, but clean, modern and well equipped - think IKEA. Shutters on the french windows ensured that I was not woken by the morning sun. The fridge and kettle were welcome additions. USB ports on one of the sockets were a bonus. Location is ideal being on a quiet street and a 2- 3 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Remember, it is a hostal, so do not arrive expecting a luxurious room but it is comfortable and ticked all the boxes for me. I loved everything about it and would definitely stay here again.
