We came with high expectations having read the reviews, and Sant Jaume didn't disappoint. Every member of staff we met from reception to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Our welcome was wonderful, with a glass of cava and a map with recommended places to eat. We really appreciated the upgrade to a room with some outside space. The room was spacious and stylish with lots of little touches. Just like the rest of the hotel. We were encouraged to book an hour in the hotel spa - it was compact and bijou, but perfect for us as a couple. Lovely sauna and plunge pool. The location couldn't have been better; in the heart of Palma, but on a quiet street. We often stay away in hotels, and St Jaume is one of the best we've experienced. Highly recommend.

The Sant Jaume is a lovely find in the old town of Palma, perfectly located. Perfectly appointed, smart and an air of sophistication. The aromas in the hotel were beautiful, the decor and furniture tasteful & on trend. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and welcoming. The rooftop terrace is a bonus with views of the cathedral, although the jacuzzi was cold (not great in October), however the lower ground floor well being pool and sauna was just great and especially as it was bookable for privacy, a nice touch. Our bedroom had a balcony & separate sun terrace, so lovely. The room was well appointed, lovely bedding, fluffy towels and gorgeous toiletries, with the evening turn down a nice touch with the handmade sweet treats, nothing was too much trouble for housekeeping. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, well located, great roof terrace and quiet. Very nice touch to celebrate our birthday. Helpful for questions/guidance for the island. Also amazing beds.

For the price, I think room decor is a bit plain/basic. They could also make more of the roof terrace, such as honesty bar or at least offer water up there. Overall great stay but its the small touches that make a hotel stand out.

The location is gorgeous and you are in the centr of palma. The city goes to bed late and up early so be prepared for the city noise from outside. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff were exceptional. Gorgeous balcony and great breakfast.

The pillows in the top floor suite or shocking bags of webbing. For the price and the hotel you should have luxurious pillows on the beds and a choice of pillow. Breakfast was not till 11 it was cleared away by 11 and you need to book the spa hot tub and sauna, it needs to be a little warmer. Otherwise it was a gorgeous stay.

Service at the front desk was excellent. We also visited the sister properties per their recommendations and enjoyed having sunset drinks at the Seahouse overlooking the ocean and lunch at De Tokio a Lima. The room we were assigned to had a beautiful balcony with two sunbeds that were fantastic for starting and ending the day. I believe this was an upgrade and it was greatly appreciated. Location wise, it is in the center without being in a loud area. Breakfast was also great.

The phone line from the pool to the front desk was broken the day of arrival, which affected the ability to order beverages up to the rooftop deck. Not a big deal but a minor nuisance.

The staff were absolutely excellent from the moment we arrived to the moment we left They dealt with our issues with the aircon in our room very well and the best of their abilities Breakfast is lovely, so much on offer. One suggestion would be nicer coffee beans as they have such a great machine it’s a shame the beans are a bit meh. Maybe talk to the guys at sphere coffee round the corner…amazing coffee :) Terrace is lovely and has a sweet plunge pool I liked. Don’t expect a swimming pool it is just a very small cold water plunge pool. Mini spa is sweet and nice for an hr a day which is included for each room…it’s just a sauna and mini swimming pool but very nice and relaxing. Location great, quiet but right in the heart of palma centre Lovely gestures like Cava on arrival, water each day and little treats Cleaning was excellent every day

We didn’t feel the aircon was of a high enough standard. This unfortunately for us is a deal breaker and would mean we would not return but I am not sure everyone is quite so reliant on it. We changed rooms because our original room wouldn’t go below 23 (they had the technician out etc.) and although our new room improved a little we like an aircon that will be really cold as that’s just how we sleep better. We didn’t complain again because we didn’t want to ruin a short stay and I think that’s just the air con there…don’t expect it to get super cold perhaps. So if super cold air con is a concern that is our only con. It didn’t ruin our holiday and the hotel did what they could for us

My husband and I booked the Sant Jaume Design Hotel for my 30th birthday for three days, and the staff was so sweet, attentive, and accommodating. We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival and the gentleman in the front took our luggage up to our room while they spoke to us about the property and all they offered. Our room was super clean, lux and we appreciated having our robes and slippers in the room. The welcome gifts in the room were also a nice touch. My husband booked me the 1hr and 15min massage the day of my birthday towards the evening and it was incredible. When I got back, my husband and the staff arranged a flower bouquet and a cake, it all looked amazing! The level of care from everyone was perfect and greatly appreciated. When we come to Palma from the USA, we'd definitely love to stay Sant Jaume Design Hotel again!

Our room was closer to the side street so there was a bit of noise outside, we think there's a school nearby as the sounds were from children playing outside, but since we're close to the city, that's to be expected.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, down a very pretty quiet street but just a few minutes from the centre of Palma with its many shops, restaurants and cultural sites. The hotel is a lovely modern boutique hotel. Most impressive of all are the staff who are all delightful and extremely helpful. We were made to feel extremely welcome and had a fantastic time both at the hotel and in the city.

Hotel's location is, superb - situated as it is in a quiet side road, but centrally placed in Palma. Room was exceptionally comfortable, with the bonus of a large outside terrace. Facilities such as gym, wellness centre and roof sun terrace are also good to have. Above all, the hotel has an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Hardly anything to mention here. The only thing that I didn't much like was the background music in some parts of the hotel (for example, breakfast area).

The hotel was perfectly located just off the main shopping area in a quiet street. The hotel staff were exceptional and could not do enough for you. The rooms were outstanding for comfort, cleanliness and design. Breakfasts are highly recommended. The hotel manager Sophia makes excellent recommendations for trips and cuisine- take them!
