The hotel breakfast was great. Had a enough variety and provided options for picky eaters (kids). The hotel was clean. The shuttle service to the airport was exceptional and easy to use. The location was convenient. The laundry was key. The rooms are fine. Dated and beds are not the most comfortable. We stayed when we arrived at 1am, in the middle of our trip, and the last night before we left at 5 am. For what we needed this made the trip run smoothly. Easy enough to schedule the shuttle to pick up/drop off our rental car and avoid extra fees.

Breakfast was great, room was comfortable with a good shower and free toiletries. It was easy to find the hotel after leaving the airport. There's a small shop where we were able to get a cold drink late in the day.

I missed any mention of the $150 hold placed on your card until we were checking in, maybe that could be made more obvious before booking. The area around the hotel wasn't the best so I understood why the car park had a gate with an entry code and the hotel doors were kept locked. The room was expensive for what you get.

Friendly staff/ clean building, comfortable room and felt like it was a secure facility …. Free airport shuttle was very helpful and the driver was very nice and helpful with luggage. We did enjoy a great hot breakfast one the first morning — 2nd morning there was a kitchen problem with the ovens but still enjoyed yogurt and hot instant oatmeal. Workers were very friendly and apologetic for kitchen mishap. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Anchorage 😀

The facilities could have been better. We booked two rooms and only one of the rooms had a coffee machine. The staff was very friendly but the facilities were found wanting. The rooms on the second floor needed some upgrade however the rooms on the third floor was much better.

The location was good; there was a bus stop for going downtown or anywhere in Anchorage. The People Mover bus system in Anchorage works very well. Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn Express...good. They have a 24 hour shuttle which ran very promptly and efficiently. Overall, the hotel was a little expensive but everything is expensive in Anchorage. Still, a great stay and would recommend.

The beds were not as comfortable as I have had in other Holiday Inn Express locations, but they weren't too bad...just really too soft for me.

Room was clean and met our needs. Shuttle service was very handy, affordable way to get back to airport.

Room was too hot. Outside temps were high which required a good AC unit and this room unit was less than effective. Shower had a constant drip when off.

Staff was quite friendly. Pool was cold but that didn't make it unenjoyable! My fiancee and I loved swimming in it, it's very relaxing for your muscles as well as (and especially) sore joints. The decor brings me back to a simpler time, and I will grieve when it is replaced. There's an ATM inside, as well as 24 hr gift shop in the lobby. They really put forward a sense of security. For context, Anchorage has some drug and homeless issues, which has made the years after the COVID outbreak difficult for everyone involved. They require you to be a guest checked in or checking in in order to stay in the lobby, which is separated from outside by some somewhat sturdy looking walls and a small glass entry room. Speaking of glass, the view from the pool area is fantastic during winter. All the snow without all the cold is such a deep power trip that I cannot explain in one go. The cleaning staff was very polite. I've got somewhat of a figure, I won't say which one - and even if uncomfortable with it they simply worked to do their job. The morning breakfast is amazing! It runs 6-11 roundabout, and there's a pancake maker! Everything else was already so professional and impressive, and the pancake maker is just the cherry on top. (Complete with nearby jellies, butter, cream cheese in both plain and strawberry, and a syrup jar.) I was able to bring my fiancee breakfast in bed thanks to their complimentary breakfast. ❤️ 💜 Overall I feel this is a highly professional establishment, well worth a stay sometime!

The driveway was very barely levelled when we arrived. Thankfully my mobility disabled relative didn't need to stay, as he would've felt left out. The pool area shower is just a curtain attached to the pool area, and there is no lifeguard. Got verbally harassed by another guest, was underwhelmed with the staffs response, but in all fairness it could've been my standards being off as much as or moreso than theirs as the response was still quite thorough. The reason the pool was a salvageable, happy memory, is more so thanks to my wonderful and supportive fiancee who had been waiting for a chance to teach me self confidence. I wasn't sure how to feel about the staffs response which I may go into detail later (I remember very little as it has been an exhausting trip.)

The hotel was incredibly clean from the room and all throughout the facility. Super appreciated the lobby door being locked to outside peoples who didn't intend to pay to stay at the hotel because Anchorage has had some safety issues lately. Didn't use the shower so I'm not sure how that was, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was in top condition as well. The pool was in working condition which is always great to know. It almost had to have been warm - we didn't get a chance to use it. I bought this stay for my fiancee because he flew up to help me fly down to meet his family, and he was a huge fan of the place. Staff was very kind to us. This was a much needed change as other hotels we stayed had inhospitable staff.

There's not really anything to complain about here. The price was pretty reasonable for the time of year.

The location for access to airport, walks around the lake, proximity to restaurants. Shuttle to airport. Breakfast was good. Screens on the window (allowed for fresh air).

Air conditioning unit was noisy; ;had to turn it off for sleep.
