Right by the Keleti train station/U2 & U4 underground/plenty of bus & tram stops so easy to get anywhere. The room had a big window and desk for work. Comfy bed. Had an armchair & fridge & USB charging sockets. Loved the giant map wall decoration which was very helpful for planning visiting! Inside (courtyard-facing) room had no outside noise but see below...

The cleaners respect the Do not disturb sign only to the extent that they don't come in to the room - but it didn't prevent them making all sorts of noises cleaning other rooms throughout the morning which was equally disturbing. No shower door so the bathroom floor gets all wet - it seems to be a trend in hotels but it's very annoying! You have to pay to use left-luggage lockers, otherwise you just leave your bags in the open - feels a bit cheap.

Great location, it's close to the train station, there are two metro lines within 5 minutes walk. The room is very clean, infrastructures are nice. The bkk services center is also very close, it's easy to collect Budapest card if needed. And there were a lot of choice for breakfast.

Since it's close to the train station, there are some homeless people on the street during the night. Don't feel very safe to walk around the neighbourhood after the sunset. Transportation is needed to almost everywhere, it's not walking distance to the touristic places, but it's a convenient transportation hub

We really liked how friendly the staff were. They helped us when we needed to change rooms due to a personal situation for my mum. The breakfast was good, lots of variety and staff around. The room was good, the beds were comfy and had enough toiletries for myself and my mum. The transport links to the city were excellent and easy to use for 2 girls that were not thay confident.

On our first morning, the breakfast didn't have as much option as the other mornings did. The cereal had run out and didn't get replenished. It was around 9am. But due to there being so much else, it didn't ruin the breakfast.

I chose this hotel with confidence as it is one of my favorites for business trips. The location is quite convenient, offering parking facilities and being right next to a metro station. However, the city center is also within walking distance, which is a great bonus. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with thoughtful amenities such as a kettle for added convenience. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help, making the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast is good, with a decent variety of options to start the day. Overall, I’ve always enjoyed my stays here and look forward to returning again in the future!

Restaurant availability. Room card having to be replaced 4 times. More friendly interaction with reception area staff would have improved my opinion. Not having phone calls answered late in evening, trying to advise flight delay so arrival would be around 3am Thankfully my transfer driver stayed with me on arrival at hotel until security allowed me in.

The staff were helpful. It was conveniently located opposite the train station and perfect for one night stay to catch the train the next day.

When we arrived we found out the hotel had cancelled our booking because we had changed our credit card details on booking.com. Our booking was still valid on booking.com and we even received a generic message a few days before regarding transportation, so we had no idea the hotel cancelled our booking. They could have at least informed us before the cancellation. Luckily the hotel wasn't full and they accommodated us. We have since been in touch with other hotels and no one else has done that. Beware if you change your credit card details after booking.

That its situated near the train station, underground station and very convenient transport system. The big window facing the main street to catch the sight of the beautiful train station. Although the room is facing the street, its windows are well insulated. No traffic disturbance can be heard. The room is clean and put into order. The lift can be used only if one have the room card. Thats a good system. The breakfast buffet was nice.

The room is too cool ventilated. Although tried to adjust the thermostat, still could not make the room warmer. I guess in summer its pleasant. But for stay during wintertime in Jan, its still cold. We adjusted somehow. It was not that tragic. But for senior i guess its too cold. On the last day of stay, the housekeeping forgot to put the glass of complimentary drink (mineral water) in the room. We had to buy from outside. We find that the price of the stay is quite expensive although its not season time like summer.

Everything, but especially the shower. Although on this occasion an evening meal was unavailable due to an event booking, I've stayed before and eaten there and the food was very good in my opinion. Would I recommend the hotel as a romantic place to stay? If you're looking for fabulous views, you won't get it here, nor will you get a beautiful view. What you will see is an area of the city that is lived and worked in. If your idea for a romantic stay is a good, well-run, comfortable hotel with helpful staff and immediate access to safe routes into the rest of the city, then this is the place I would choose.

Hotel staff were very welcoming, polite and informative. I had a late evening check in of 23.00. I checked in and was in my room by 23.10. Room was very spacious. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Slept like a baby. Bathroom good size with good shower. The room was well decorated and clean. Breakfast was of a good standard. Set me up for the day. Coffee was excellent too. Location is about a 35 minute walk to the city centre or there is a metro stop close by. I walked it everyday. Ruin Bars are on the way back so a nice stop off point after a day's sightseeing. I would definitely recommend staying at the Intercity hotel and I will stay here again on my next visit.

Great hotel located next to the Keleti train station. The staff was super kind and helpful, and the room was comfortable and spacious enough for two people. Room cleaning is every day, which was highly appreciated. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options for every taste, although it can get crowded. Conveniently located near a subway station with two lines running, as well as tram and bus stops that will take you to the downtown area in 10-15 minutes.

The area can be a bit sketchy during late-night hours.
