Review for Royal Park Boutique Hotel, Budapest My stay at Royal Park Boutique Hotel had both good and bad aspects. While the location and breakfast were great, there were a few things that I found disappointing. The view from the room was quite uninspiring—just the inner courtyard with plain walls, which made the space feel a bit closed in. The room itself needed better maintenance—there were some stains on the walls, and a fresh coat of paint would definitely help. The bathroom also showed signs of wear, with the bathtub having chipped enamel and rust spots. Overall, the place had a bit of a faded, outdated charm that didn’t quite match the expectations set by the photos. With some renovation and better upkeep, it could be a much better experience!

Reviews I read were a bit harsh on this hotel. I booked it anyway because somebody wrote that it is really not bad and... the place was really ok. Rooms are very good size, clean, and the staff very nice. Breakfast had terrible scrambled eggs, otherwise very good but considering that half of the world is eating eggs for breakfast they should really make it fresh every so often and not leave it to harden in a heating dish. Noise you can limit closing the windows and there is air conditioning in every room. Bank, spar vis a vis. Metro is very close. Direct connection to Kelenföld if anyone travels by Flix bus.

Scrambled eggs are terrible. Please give at least boiled eggs, if you can't make it better.

Location is unbeatable for being so near the train station. And for the price, it the hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet is worth the extra $10. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They let me store my luggage at no charge while I waited for my room and even kept special watch of my laptop.

It could be cleaned a little better in the shower, but it’s still fairly good. The curtain for the bathroom was a bit cheap looking and difficult to roll up. I can tell they put effort into cleaning and upkeep. The air conditioner control is old and I thought it didn’t work at first, but I was able to turn it on eventually. None of this impacts the value.

Amazing staff, top locations, very clean. They still have problems, like last year with the breakfast service. I suggest that cutlery and napkins should be on the buffet table. One person should be working to keep the buffet of food replenished all the time... and the other only for picking up - de-serving and cleaning the tables. The music was pleasant this year. Location is perfect. Bed is comfortable. Fast food restaurants all around. Very close bus stations from the airport and train station. Silent street. Breakfast variatè is ok, 3-star level.

Shower glass was not clean. Upholstery dirty, it is time to clean them professionaly. Hairdrier did not work. Furnitures are worn, time to uplift. The staff at breakfast should be invisible. Instead of being professional, they did laughing loudly and shouting in the kitchen, that all the guests could hear in the breakfast area, that is very inapproriate in catering and tourism. 3-star hotel.

Room was spacoius and comfortable beds, shower and toilet are excellent, there was only one kind of general liquid soap in the shower and one for hands so no tooth paste or any other hair or body products which was not a problem for me but its worth to mention for others to know what to find, towels are provided, no slippers, Location of the hotel is excellent and breakfast quality was good but not to the level of a 4 star hotel. some staff members could look more professional it would be better for the image of the hotel.

there was a small damage in the corner of the Room wall because its behind the shower and it seems theres a small water leakage causing it, the breakfast could be better even though its nice but some things could be better quality

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Milan was kind enough to hold our luggage as we were early before check in time and assisted us with parking. The room was large and comfortable with most of the necessities including fridge, wifi, bathroom with tub. Breakfast was included, nothing to write home about but plenty to get your day started with modest expectations. The bathroom had a giant window facing the room which at first was strange but offered for some fun and kinky playfulness. It does have a shade you can pull down for privacy...oddly on the bedroom side 😂

The location albeit right next to the metro which was a huge plus (2min walk), the area was a little "shady" with colorful characters about especially at night. Also the AC did not work and it was rather warm in the room so had to keep a window open which was a double edge sword... needed some fresh air but it was very loud from people either in the street or just outside the dining area in the square till about 1am.

Good breakfast, location excellent for travelling by train further. The neighbourhood is the Keleti train station. Only American type fast food around, no good restaurants. Easy access to the train station. The rrom was good and comfortable.

Nothing to add. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about. Location was ideal for me because I neede to travel next day by train. One negative: they advertised shuttle service from the airport, but in the end ‘their driver was not available’. Luckily booking.com allowed good car pick up from the airport.

- could it be more cleaner - could have a kettle in each room to prepare tea or coffee - toilet didn’t flush that well and the sink took a long time to drain the water

Actually I have been arrived very late. But at the reception wasn't any problem with it. My room was on the floor 5th floor, very nice comfy and clean. The hotel located to the Keleti Railway station which is very helpful if you choose for your further travelling by train. I haven't been eating there but I'm sure about it the breakfast also could achieve my expectations too. I stayed at this hotel before as well, the stuff are all lovely and acknowledged, so it's called a professionals.

All been perfect as usual.
