The location was great, the staff were helpful and the hotel was spotless.

We were given a disabled room (room 002, was not requested) and although it was very spacious, the sink was very low for my 6’ self. Would have been more of an issue if we have been staying more than two nights. So not rating too low for that. Also just to note, the AC/ Heating unit made a very unusual noise like a sped up Mario Kart noise on repeat and when you are over tired it sounds like you are in a horror movie. Okay I’m starting to sound crazy but the staff may want to check it out incase there are any faults on it.

Hotel and the room was very clean and seemed pretty modern if minimal (as expected). You get what you need which for the price is still very good value, I paid roughly the same as a good hostel. If anything, the room was very well-sized compared to other easyHotels I've been to around Europe. Check-in and check-out were both very efficient and smooth as well.

Location is alright, it's down a pretty steep slope so if you're toting luggage to the train station, it won't be much fun, but the actual distance isn't too bad. My main problem was very loud drunk people in the hallway in the middle of the night, which interrupted my sleep for a good half hour at minimum. I would say that it's maybe a one-off, but I had just stayed at the Leeds easyHotel and had a similar experience there... Very irritating when needing to wake up to catch an early train in the morning.

I was suprised how easily i found it, left all the way down from central station, you come to dean st and couple 100 metres from there just underneath the railway bridge, excellent friendly welcome, i explained i was unsure how to get to tyneside theatre, before id finished filling in my details form the receptionist had found the map from easyhotel and printed it off and highlighted tje walk and where it was situated, Room lovely and warm and clean nice tv, just the job for an overnight stay, when i returned from theatre friendly faces met me interested had I found my way there and enjoyed my evening? , would definitely recommend and definitely would stay again, thank you all. You are fab!

There wasnt anything i didnt like, i thought there would be a kettle and tea for a hot drink or my morning coffee, but it didnt bother me, there was a coffee machine in reception if id wanted one that badly and i had bottled water anyway

Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff especially lilianna are amazing. Cannot speak highly enough of them.

This was my first experience in a Easy hotel and I gotta say that I wasnt disappointed! Despite being in a busy street (full of bars and restaurants), there was no outside noise coming into the room. The bedroom was small but modern and clean. Comfortable mattress and pillows as well. Bathroom was a bit small, but it did the job! very little interaction with the staff, but everyone was pleasant and had a smile in their faces. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and you can cover the entire city pretty much on foot! I would stay here again!

Nothing really. It would be nice to have a better sitting area at the lobby of the hotel, but other than that, no complains!

very clean and great location

Great location, just ten minutes stroll from Grey's Monument right in the centre of the city. That's also where the Metro station is for travelling to and from the airport. Bed was comfortable and the room was fine for a night's sleep and great for the price but don't be expecting a lot of space. Some fantastic eateries in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I highly recommend Queen's Café for breakfast, Simla and Topolino for dinner.

Cups and a kettle would be welcome but I can understand why the hotel doesn't provide them to keep their costs and guests' prices down. I'd be happy to bring my own teabags if advised in advance...

Great location and had an upgrade. Great bathroom. Hot water and lovely soap. Air con was perfect. Storage was perfect. Lots of power point sockets. Mirrors in a great area of the room. Hairdryer was next to the mirror. Great layout.

We had some very rowdy guests throughout the night. On leaving the room in the morning there was blood smeared on doors, walls and blood splatters up two flights of stairs. The staff could not have prevented this, but it was unpleasant to find at 8.30am.

I was only after a bed for a few hours after being out in the city for most of the night, and the price suggests you shouldn't expect much more, but I was really surprised at how decent everything was. The receptionist Shabz was kind enough to let me check in an hour early, rather than having to kill time since my train arrived, and the room was clean; the bed comfortable and spacious. Great location in the heart of Newcastle and five minutes from the train station. Countless food places and pubs on the doorstep though surprisingly not that loud because of it.

The room would be on the small side if you've got company, especially the bathroom. The facilities to make a hot drink are in the main reception. However, the pros outweigh the cons significantly.
