Location is perfect. Parking in front of the hotel is 20 euro a day. But parking just behind the hotel is free from 9 pm to 09 am and on sunday's (so Saturday 9pm till Monday 9 am)

Breakfast was ok but didn't exceed my expectations..... ;-)

Beautiful building, with proper attention to its industrial past. Very good breakfast and good facilities in the rooms. Check-out went quick and I like it that checking out is possible till 12:00. The staff present to assist withthe conference was very professional and also the food at the conference was beyond expectations, even with 1000 guests.

The check-in was way below par. Why does everyone have to fill out a hand-written form while almost everyone did make a reservation on-line and larady had everything filled out via your own website or via booking.com. It is 2025 now and we do not need useless paperwork anymore. I like the personal contact with staff over a check-in, but I can do without redundant useless paperwork.

Nice hotel. Staff was good and polite. Wonderful location and hotel has a good heritage feel. Enjoyed our stay in Helsinki at Scandic Grand Marina. First room had some drainage issue so hotel staff gave us a better room instead and were very professional and prompt in their response. Breakfast was good with lot of variety, clean rooms, the bar staff was open to suggestions for drinks as preferred by the guests. Overall a nice experience. Hotel location was another plus as all good shopping streets, cruises, market area, tourist attractions are all within walking distance.

This is a good hotel in a nice old converted building. The location is great if you are arriving in and leaving Helsinki by ferry, as it's just five minutes away from the terminal. You can see the ferry from the hotel entrance. The city is just a short walk away too, through a market selling great street food. My room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful and I was able to store my luggage after arriving on a morning ferry, well before the check in time. The breakfast was very good, with a nice choice of hot and cold food. I think the price was good value as Helsinki is an expensive city. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Helsinki.

No negatives for me.

Great location within a few minutes walk to the market and small ferries for excursions, or across to the centre. Tam stops a few streets away if needed. The room and bathroom are a good size. The refrigerator is stocked with cold drinks, tea and coffee too. Very helpful staff. Al spoke excellent Also only a few minutes walk to Viking ferry terminal, but not near enough for any noise.

Breakfast was very busy over the weekend but quieter on Monday. Small hairdryer fixed to bathroom wall, never easy to use than a more powerful one you can plug in anywhere.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was an excellent location to access Helsinki from the ferry from Tallinn. They allowed us to store our bags in the luggage room before check-in. The breakfast had a large selection of food to choose from. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice.

When we dropped our bags off in the morning, we asked if it was possible to check-in an hour early, if the room happened to be clean and available. They told us that we could come back 2 hours prior to check in and that it should be fine. We arrived one hour before check-in to inquire, and they told us we could check-in early, for 20€, that no one had mentioned before. We decided to just wait, but I didn't like that they weren't upfront about the charge in the beginning.

Hello Thank you for everything, everything was great, we wouldn't have arrived at the hotel earlier, there was so much to see and travel, not only in Helsinki but also in Espoo. We walked a lot of steps and when we got to the hotel there was a very warm welcome at the reception, I don't remember the admin's name but she was very nice. Super service both at breakfast and at the reception. Greetings to the person who checked us in and out, very friendly and a good communicator, greetings to her. Thanks, it was a pity to leave🥺

Construction

Buffet breakfast and dinner was amazing. Close to wharf, 5 minute walk , city centre 20minute walk or catch a 10minute tram near the hotel.

In easy walking distance to historical center of Helsinki. Quick and easy check-in, I also received a free upgrade. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Spacious room with bed, sofa, and desk. Ideal for those arriving or leaving by Viking ferry, terminal is 3 minutes on foot away. Free sauna on basement floor. Hotel is a former warehouse, giving it an interesting industrial vibe.

Room was initially too warm and window cannot be opened. The ventilation system took hours to cool down the room enough and I had to keep it running all night (this in late April when it was still pretty cold outside). Little natural light from only one small window. Furnishings are a bit dated. Coffee at breakfast is filter coffee. On some days, housekeeping did not make up room until 4pm.

The location of this hotel is splendid. An easy beautiful walk to some key locations and rest can be easily accessed through tram. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, value for money for the room and service provided. The breakfast spread is huge with an amazing spread. They have accommodated vegan preferences in their menu which was a delight. The room is cozy with good basic amenities and clean. Nice sizeable bathroom with health faucet which was truly appreciated.

The room was a bit small for 3 people to fit in but had sizeable beds to ensure comfort.
