Loved our 2-night stay @ Moda Hotel! We stayed in a beautiful, clean, spacious King room. Bed was super comfortable. Reception staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We greatly enjoyed the funky in-house “Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar” for breakfast, beers, cocktails and dinner. An Italian restaurant and a sports bar are also part of the hotel but were not frequented by us. Parking is conveniently located in a safe, locked parking garage opposite the hotel (CAD 23 p/night). Great location to explore the city and many cafes/restaurants are in the vicinity. For a quick coffee, Starbucks is 80m down the road. For essentials, Nesters Supermaket is 130m away.

We stayed here 3 times during our visit. The staff and management were exceptional. We had 2 of our bookings at other facilities cancelled at short notice (on the same day), and Moda were able to arrange accommodation for part of our stay to help us to spend time with family.. otherwise we were potentially without accommidation. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

A small, boutique type hotel, almost in the center of downtown. Very close to concert venues, restaurants (both sit down and fast food) and the downtown core. Hotel is clean, comfortable and has secure parking nearby. Public transportation and skytrain are close by. Some comments have noted rooms are small, but we found ours to be totally comfortable, very quiet and met our needs entirely. Staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant on site was excellent!! Thankyou for a great stay!!!

Lovely hotel in a great a great area. The building has real character. There is a cocktail bar and sports bar in the same complex. Both were very good. We had two amazing sleeps. Would recommend for a night or two.

The rooms we had were very small. It was actually difficult to get around the bed. I would not recommend this room for more than a night or two. The room was furnished with a bed, a small closet, and a chair. Really, not enough space to unpack.

Our room was very comfortable for 2, stagg brought us a cot for a third, but, we had to ask for towels, coffee cup, water glass for 3. Room was comfy but no amenities like pool or breakfast included. Clean and friendly.

No hooks for robes or towels in bathroom. Fridge and coffee maker in bedroom, should be in living room area. No microwave in room.

Simple hotel. Older and nothing fancy.All the amenities needed. Clean and very comfortable bed. Grocery store close by. Right downtown but not at all noisy. Really surprised at the price I paid for location ( $139 CAD all in) but that must have been an off season rate. Really good value for money in February! Lovely helpful staff. Will be my go- to hotel for Vancouver if the price doesn't increase too much.

The location was perfect for an overnight to see a show at The Vogue, Commodore or Orpheum theatres. The hotel was built with fabulous sound proofing. Did not hear hardly any traffic at night.

The only negative way that the privacy shade did not go all the way down in the bathroom. There was frosted glass that did cover the windows, so it was not completely without privacy.

Prime location, very clean and updated. Quieter than expected for an older building, right in the downtown core. Angel helped us at check-in, she was fantastic and very helpful. Another gentleman helped us out of the parking lot and was very nice as well - the staff are excellent.

Parking facility was a bit of an ordeal to access but it’s sort of expected downtown.

Great place, I love how my room has windows in the main bedroom and bathroom. Surprisingly quiet for the prime location. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The only sticky thing was that if you put your access card near your phone, it disfunctions the card and you’ll need to ask staff to fix it, which takes 3 seconds. Other than that I would stay there again next time.

there was much to like - good central location, near to train line for airport and close enough to the city so that we could walk everywhere. staff were friendly and efficient, managed the storage of our many bags on departure date. the room was comfortable and reasonably sized - and the price was the most reasonable we found in a very expensive city
